Check in was easy. Very friendly! The property has a very nice outdoor space, unfortunately it was too cool on my trip to be able to enjoy it. Would recommend it to others!

Ultra Obnoxious manager! Lousy rooms. Booked 3 nights... couldn't stand it so I left after 2. Rebate refused. No room/bed/linen/towel maid service. WiFi either very slow or totally down. USB ports broken. Bathroom fan useless. Very low water flow/pressure.

Tropical Inn was a very nice property, conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Easy 30 min walk or short drive to The Sound at Coachman park.

Very cute and clean. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The grounds are well maintained. A couple of downsides: no conditioner in the shower, just soap and shampoo. The sheets were scented, and though not unpleasant, it became a bit overwhelming and I kept waking up with a headache. You really have to use the blackout curtains because people walk right next to the only window. For someone who needs natural light to come around that was difficult.

Stay away. Room was crammed and smelled like mold. We checked in late and were very tired. Otherwise I would have been looking for something else. Expensive to top it off. Guy who runs the place has some attitude. Other guests who were checking out at the same time were very unhappy as well. I would not recommend this place even for a short one night stay.

Very Surprised. Tropical Inn is very clean, well lit, and nice rooms! even had free ice, Everyone I talked to were friendly and smiled, Nice place to stay and 1 mile from Coachman Center for the concert.

So as other reviews I have read and stated they have put money into the property. Rooms have fresh paint new furniture and are clean. Our room needs caulk in the shower and the vinyl floor was coming up in many areas as if water damage occurred. Outside common area is nice and quant courtyard. Room lacked a coffee maker. I was bummed. The best Wi-Fi access was only in the courtyard per the front desk. Would recommend more Wi-Fi extenders. Made it very hard to watch my congregations service since I was out of town. I would go again but plan accordingly.

For a small Non-Chain Hotel this place was a surprise. Very clean and outside was very inviting. The manager was very friendly and apparently works hard to keep this place nice.
