VERY disappointed Choice Hotels would let this hotel operate under their brand. We left two days early because the conditions were unbearable: Pool: Green, murky, and clearly unsafe (see photo). Hot Water: None — cold showers only. Beds: Rock-hard, zero chance of real sleep. Maintenance: Dim lighting in room and exterior corridors made it feel unsafe and gave a zombie apocalypse vibe. Actually, the whole place was run down and gave a zombie apocalypse vibe. We reported everything to the front desk and Choice Hotels within the first hour. Their “fix” was a room swap — nothing changed. After one sleepless night, we checked out at 9 AM and got hit with a surprise $25 early checkout fee (never disclosed). They also double-charged taxes and fees, making the nightly rate higher than quoted. Later, I discovered other reviews on Choice’s own site warning about the same exact issues — months back. Clearly, management is aware and doesn’t care. ThIs i a clear case of false advertising and deceptive billing. They literally STOLE our money. Bottom line: Photos are misleading, service is indifferent, and amenities are unsafe. Book elsewhere.

Worst stay ever. Mattress was hard. Breakfast was sub par with watery scrambled eggs. We were charged an extra $36 to check out one day early. Informed staff two days prior to checking out and still charged the early checkout fee. Would have to be desperate to stay here again.

The hot breakfast? One tray of watery eggs and what ever else you can microwave. No meat! Worst breakfast service we’ve had. Came back one nite to find the cleaning crew left our door cracked open. We booked for four nites but decided to check out one day early. They told us we were booked with a special promotion rate and charged us an early checkout penalty of $36. We were not informed of any of this crap when we booked. We asked specifically about a hot tub. They told us there was a hot tub available. Wrong. They have suites with hot tub and fireplace in the room. Only under dire circumstances would I book with a Choice hotel and never ever at this one. The manager was not on site and would not answer the phone when staff tried to call during check out and the billing fiasco.

We had a group of 16 and Liz checked us in. The original booking we asked for all ground rooms due to age and health problems. They assured us they could help us. When we got there, it was not notated, but Liz took care of us. She was very sweet and accommodating. The Rams were very clean, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Liz even let us play cards for a while in the breakfast area. It was a good stay and we would stay here again.

On a road trip, we stopped for one night. This location was easy to reach from US 441 in Clayton, GA. We were able to park right outside the room. The personnel were knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. The room was small but clean. It had two queen beds, a desk with a chair, a side chair with a small table, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a TV. The beds were a little too firm for me, but many perfer firmer beds. The bathroom was very small, with a shower/tub combination and a grab bar in the shower. The toilet was way too short for us 3 senior ladies. Just curious, we measured it. From the toilet seat to the floor was about 19". That seems average. If you're older or have mobility issues, this may be a problem. Also, the 2 story motel does not have an elevator. We requested and received a ground floor unit. There are several restaurants nearby.

We have stayed here many times. After a few so-so stays several years ago, it's amazing. From the wonderful lady (Jeep driver) at check in to the clean and comfy rooms. It's our favorite place to stay in North Georgia. We didn't have breakfast this trip but enjoyed it on past stays.

Great place! Close to restaurants, updated rooms, nice continental breakfast. Try the pancakes! Staff was very friendly too and sincerely happy that we were there. Would definitely stay again next time! Plus I earned points through choice hotels app

No frills hotel yet it has all you need. Clean, and well located. A good choice if you are on a budget and are spending a night in town before hiking or continuing your trip to the north of Georgia or other states

The bed is extremely comfortable. The room was clean, bathroom clean. Only complaint is breakfast. I really didn't expect much but they didn't even have a piece of bread out however they did have coffee which was a blessing in itself. Very convient to local restaurants and area attractions.
