What a lovely experience!! Johan and Tim, you guys are the best! The attention to detail was amazing! The breakfast was to die for!!! The best of all, park your car and explore the beautiful town of Clarence by foot! Do not forget to pack your golf clubs! The course and club are beautiful!! Hope to see you soon again!!! Xxx

Great breakaway for couples. Tim and Johan are great hosts, with immense attention to detail. Patcham Place is just off main square, making everything within walking distance but quiet and restful. Hosts knowledge of area is added advantage to ensure you make the most of your visit.

Johan and Tim provided a personalized experience that made the difference between our stay being just another weekend break and an awesome getaway from the stresses of life. Their can-do attitude and willingness to ensure we were well catered for was a welcome change. The view from the deck while eating breakfast is great and makes one feel like you are really far away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

What a brilliant bijou in Clarens! We absolutely loved our 2 days here. In fact a perfect last 2 days of our 3 week-trip in SA. A lovely, beautiful, and most convenient location to just go for walks, do some shopping and feel completely safe. The B&B is cosy and very tastefully furnished, and offers the yummiest breakfasts with a gorgeous view of the garden. Tim was a very friendly host, and suggested a perfect hike for us in Golden Gate Park. The location of the B&B is a short walk to the square and all the lovely restaurants and best coffee shops nearby. Can highly recommend!

What a little gem of a place. From a very warm welcome to a warm goodbye. We had a comfortable stay. Bed was extremely comfy, the room well equipped. The breakfast was OUTSTANDING. We will be sure to visit again in the future. Patcham is perfectly located near to shops and restaurants.

A midweek in beautiful Clarens at one of the most luxurious and beautiful stays in Clarens. Our hosts, Johan and Tim were friendly and professional offering plentiful information for the best dining, activities and outings in and around Clarens. The accommodation is of 5* quality. The setting is peaceful with a view of the mountains. The gardens are beautiful and serene. A must visit for any romantic getaway.

Everything from the moment we arrived was just 10/10. The hospitality was top-notch, going above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located for exploring the area. Tim was incredibly responsive to our needs, providing thoughtful recommendations and making our experience truly unforgettable. We can't wait to go back to Lilliput House.

Recently stayed at the newly renovated Liliput House for 2 nights in early February. Every detail of the house was perfectly executed by Tim & Johan and it’s clear they take pride in providing the most excellent stay for their guests. The view from the home is beautiful and it’s an easy walk into town for shopping or restaurants as well as easy walk to the Clarens trails. The breakfast that was provided was not only ample, delicious, and beautifully presented, but the dining area and home where the other rooms are located are also wonderfully decorated. Tim was an amazing host also giving us great information about our day hike at Golden Gate National Park and dining recommendations. Such a relaxing and wonderful stay, thank you!!
