Revamp badly needed for bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of scuffs along in room. Corridors aslo had lots of scruffs around the place. Bar food was very nice. We loved the bar area it had a lovely atmosphere. Pool was nice but dressing rooms were freezing. We had to go back to our room to get showered and dressed. Spa area in pool could do with a good clean and some bits need to be redone.

We went to the tina turner tribute. It was fantastic. Very well run. Room nice and airy for the tribute. Great vibe. Security were very nice. The wait at the bar was unfortunate. The pre mixed cocktails need to be take off the menu. €10 low alcohol and not great. We went to the residents bar after the tribute. The band were brilliant. Again. The vibe was great. The beds were king coil. Very comfy. Rooms are basic enough but I slept well. We tried to have a bit of lunch the next day at 12 in the bar and there was alot of miscommunication. We only wanted toasted sandwiches or something Light. We were told we had to wait until half 12. Which we did. Than when we tried to order (from the menu we were given) and we were told its carvery only. That was annoying. So we had to leave and get food somewhere else after waiting over a half hour. We left annoyed. Which is a pity, because we had a lovely time the night before. We ate in the restaurant the night before, the mussels, sea bass, calamari beef and steak were all beyond delicious. Highly recommend.

Avoid this scamming, smelly, Irish turd. We were stuck having to find a room in the early afternoon coming off the Cliffs of Moher. Two of the nicer hotels in town were full. We saw a room advertised for 79 Euros online. When we got there, they said they had two rooms for 149 and 169Euros. They pretended not to know about the advertised online price. We were two couples. We took the more expensive room, which was described as an executive suite. Upon entering the "executive suite," it smelled to high heaven of cleaning solution trying to cover up mold. I opened the window, but that didn't touch the smell. When we compared it with the other couple's room, it was exactly the same room, not counting the dizzying stench. I have scent allergies and immediately had a headache. When we went down to the front desk, the manager tried to argue with us about the room being an executive suite. We said, don't take our word for it, come up and see for yourself. Upon entering the room, her head snapped back from the smell, and she said that she would give us a 30 Euro refund. After waiting to see if the open window would change things--it didn't--I went back to the manager and demanded another room, which we got. It didn't smell, but what did smell of something rotten was when we went to check our credit card bill we found that they had charged us the original price, and even though they gave us a receipt for the 30Euro refund, there was no refund credited to our credit card. We have contacted Visa and will dispute it. Whoever runs and operates this hotel is a POS, just like the rooms they rent. AWFUL! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Poor experience of the hotel. Went as a family of 5 for a Halloween break. Hotel is very neglected. There was a terrible smell when we went into the bar, the food was only ok. Stayed in a family bunk room, it was clean but very small. As we passed other rooms on the way to ours, there was a smell of cigarettes coming from a few rooms on route. Really terrible. I would not recommend the kids club. Disappointing, We will not use this hotel again. The website and photos do not match the quality of the hotel

Great staff from check in, to kids club, to check out. Very accommodating for familys. Really enjoyed our halloween stay here. Only a short walk away from the town centre, and an even shorter drive. Special mention helina. Really looked after us. Can't fault the place!

What a fab little getaway we had with the kids for midterm. The girls on reception were amazing (didn't get your names but the lady was from blarney and the young girl with her was fab too) they really couldn't do anymore for us and didn't hesitate to help is in every way. The rooms were great, food was fab and the kids absolutely loved the pool. The only downside was the movie night at kids club. I think the movie was totally inappropriate for the smaller kids ( my younger 2 had nightmares) and as a lot of the kids had no interest in the movie so it was utter pandemonium. The kids were running riot waiting forever for a small bag of popcorn. All to be threaten if they don't sit down and watch the movie quietly they weren't getting popcorn. Surely the microwave popcorn could have been prepared beforehand. Was a disappointment as the kids loved the kids club last time. Maybe it was just a bad movie choice!

Always enjoy our stay in the hotel. The facilities are excellent for our stay and the kids loce the place. Staff are brilliant and extremely helpful at all times. Entertainment at night is a big reason for our visit. Had a great stay and will be back

We all had a great weekend! The kids loved the kids club with halloween activities and trick or treating, they had a mini disco, the swimming pool was great and they had a breakfast club where the kids had breakfast together. The hotel is close to Ennis town centre where we could drive in for a look around.
