Lovely stay, clean great shower Room was comfortable and had a great sleep Great breakfast plenty of choice Highly recommend Would definitely stay here again when meeting up with the family . I booked direct and got a great deal Good family run B&B

Hot shower with good water pressure, comfy bed, clean, quiet, good breakfast, good location, everything you'd want in a B&B, would recommend to others and will stay next time I'm in Clacton for a few days. TripAdvisor minimum character count of 200 is annoying

Great little B&B very close to the seafront and town. Denise couldn't do enough for us and helped us with our parking needs. Best of all? The Full English breakfast - Very good indeed. Very happy we stayed here over the Premier Inn or Travel Lodge.

Great overnight stay. Room was comfortable with plenty of storage for a longer stay. Bathroom was well equipped and modern, problem with hot water but this was due to an unforeseen incident and no fault of the proprietors. The room was very clean as was the communal areas. Breakfast was leisurely and very enjoyable and of good quality. Service was excellent and we were made to feel comfortable in requesting additional items eg. Coffee or toast. The staff are very friendly and take an interest in your day/evening which was lovely as well as being attentive to your needs or requests. Would definitely return if we return to the area.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Sandrock. The hotel is well looked after outside and inside. Our rooms looked newly decorated and were exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and we didn't have any trouble with noise in the evening. The family who run the hotel made us very welcome and were so accomodating. Included in our stay was a deilcious breakfast. We would definitely stay her again if we return to Clacton.

All the previous excellent reviews are fully justified. The comfort, decor, amenities and delicious breakfast were all of a high standard. The proprietors are friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Clacton. My friends who were staying at the nearby Premier Inn, although comfortable, were all envious of the extra,top level, personal touch provided by The Sandrock

I thoroughly recommend The Sandrock. The bedroom and en suite were ultra clean with a very comfortable bed. We very much appreciated the bottle of water included in the room. The breakfast was excellent and served with a smile! We were made to feel very welcome.

Great stay. Warm welcome when we arrived, shown to our room, which was impeccably clean, bed, pillows and bedding very comfortable. Breakfast cooked to order and very good quality produce used. Great location, just a few minutes walk from the seafront and the pier. Will book again next time we are staying in Clacton-On-Sea.

Five stars if not more, from start to finish everything was so easy, nothing was too much trouble for Denise and family,chatty and friendly.We loved our room at the top lovely and clean and tidy. Our bed was so comfortable and pillows were lovely and soft. The shower room was a great size. Tea and coffee facilities topped up when needed and only had to ask for extras no problem. Breakfast was amazing thanks Terri and all, very attentive, absolutely lovely place to stay. Local to everything and getting about was so easy by bus, except for diversion on roads. Will definitely return to this place again though 💯 percent. Thanks again for a wonderful stay we loved it 👍
