"Rating: 5/5** Yuly was so helpful with recommendation and making our Costa Rica experience epic. The Alma Hotel in Costa Rica offers a pleasant stay with its beautiful location and friendly staff. The Villa was well beyond our expectation . The rooms are comfortable and clean, providing great views of the natural surroundings. The private pool was breath taking and my kids loved it. The hotel's amenities, like the pool and restaurant, add to the enjoyable experience. It's a good choice for a relaxing vacation in Costa Rica. I highly recommend!!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at Thoas Lodge. The property is beautiful, the pool is great, and the two bungalows were lovely and comfortable. My wife, our two kids, and I all had a fantastic time. Emmanuel, the owner, made us feel very welcome and gave us a great tour of the property. There is also a lovely natural creek where you can relax, which made the stay even more special. We would definitely recommend Thoas Lodge to friends and wish the team continued success. Looking forward to visiting again in the future."

"A car is essential for this lodge but due to circumstances outside our control we didn’t have that luxury. However the owners were totally amazing arranging taxis and even taking us to and collecting us from restaurants. (Lodge doesn’t have a restaurant) The rooms were stylish and spotless. Each room was detached and it felt as if you had a little bit of the rainforest to yourself as you sat on the balcony. Nice little swimming pool. The owners were hands on and really wanted all their visitors to have the best experience possible. Loved the outside shower."

"Stunning views of the ocean surrounded by rainforest Beautiful location, beautiful lobby/pool bar restaurant area Fabulous rooms with amazing views - well equipped, lovely linens and comfy bed and pillows. mini bar and coffee machine (no milk for coffee tho?) Other than the welcome hostess (who was icy - both on arrival and departure) the staff are friendly- Josue in particular looked after us really well, was interested, friendly, informative and very professional. He is a real asset to the hotel. Food is clean and intricately prepared and presented although the menu does not change (bit boring if you are there for a few days) - portion sizes are a bit inconsistent - some starters are bigger than the mains Breakfast is lovely, coffee is very good - à la carte items are a bit inconsistent (and the crockery whilst beautiful, is mostly chipped - especially the cups - ick) It’s pretty isolated as it’s up a steep 1.5km hill and you really need a 4x4 for the road (some reviews say that you don’t but you really do) Other than the pool and nature watching , there isn’t a lot to do… the gym has to be pre-booked and can only accommodate 2 at a time - its very small has only basic equipment (weights, bench and technogym multigym) the spa consists of one treatment room - no idea what they offer as no one give you any info on the facilities…. Interestingly there is no info provided (at check in or in the room) regarding things to do and the facilities of the hotel. The only info in the room is a laminated card of the sky channels - i can see previous reviewers have also commented on this - would be good to have some info on the spa treatments, restaurant opening times, room service, confirming a table for dinner at the restaurant - perhaps even recommendations for things to do in the local area and a shuttle service Some totally amazing features but we felt a bit captive in the hotel and a bit bored "
