L'hotel è un vecchio hotel che ha bisogno di un rinnovamento. La piscina dell'hotel è aperta agli ospiti esterni (participanti degli eventi), l'area esterna del ristorante dell'hotel è disponibile solo per gli ospiti dopo la chiusura degli eventi. L'alternativa è di avere cena all'interno - non la migliore opzione. Un termine molto deludente per la nostra visita a Dong Hoi e al parco nazionale vicino.

L'Hotel Gold Coast ha un edificio impressionante e si trova sulla spiaggia. L'abbiamo prenotato per il suo buon valore per i soldi. Tuttavia, la posizione è un po' fuori strada e abbiamo trovato l'hotel quasi senza occupazione. Per le due notti che abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel, eravamo gli unici a cenare nel ristorante dell'hotel. Le camere sono molto, molto grandi - probabilmente le più grandi camere che abbiamo soggiornato. La pulizia è ok. Il menu del ristorante è limitato. Ma come in Vietnam, il personale è cortese, utile e si allontana dal proprio modo di aiutare.

Abbiamo avuto una fermata molto veloce a Dong Hoi e questo hotel ha avuto un grande valore per noi. Abbiamo controllato presto al mattino e basicamente abbiamo bisogno di un posto per riposare, docciare e caricare i nostri telefoni, quindi questo posto ha superato le nostre aspettative. La stanza era grande e pulita, l'AC era buona e la bagno era pulita e buona. 7 minuti di auto dalla stazione ferroviaria. Grande valore per soldi!

We booked two rooms with city views. Positives include the location and the rooms. Beautiful building (externally and internally) sitting opposite the main river, across the road from the Dong Hoi market (fresh fruits and food a plenty) and adjoining the Vincom Shopping Plaza. The rooms are clean and spacious, plenty of room to move about and for excess luggage. I think a deeper clean would make it even better as there were some stain marks around the bathroom and walls; the floor to ceilings windows could also do with a clean. Bed was very comfy with a 3 pillow selection. Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided which were good quality. We swam at the indoor heated pool which was nice, 1.2m depth all around and water temp not cold but not overly warm. There is also a seperate large jacuzzi area near the pool. One of our party had a slip incident poolside due to excess water on the floor, but the response from the hotel staff was quite surprising. Not only did they stand back and not offer assistance or ask if he was ok, we were pulled aside and told that any damages caused by the slip may be charged to our rooms. We raised this incident with the hotel management and they acknowledge that more training for staff will be provided. Also, we found that from 5pm, kids (approx 30) start swim practice so the pool becomes very busy and noisey; we also raised this with hotel management. This disrupts the enjoyment of patrons of the hotel so there ought to be some notification of this so we can avoid this busy period. We ordered pizza and fries from poolside; pizza was okay but the fries didn’t taste fresh. We didn’t try the buffet breakfast so can’t comment. Checkin was swift; no request for credit card imprint or deposit which was unusual as there is a mini-bar and foods/services can be charged to the room. Check-out was straight forward. There is free underground parking available. We chose this hotel based on our previous stays at other Melia Vinpearl hotels and the reviews online. Regrettably, we found this particular hotel fell short of our expectations in terms of their service. Note to management: A genuine smile, positive attitude and confidence to converse with guests can make an average stay become a great one.

La posizione dell'hotel è buona, il prezzo è economico. Anche se è un hotel a quattro stelle, alcune delle attrezzature si sentono un po'vecchie e non sono aggiornate, ma il panorama della stanza è davvero fantastico. Penso che valga la pena. La colazione di autobus è un po' monotone

Poiché l'hotel originale è stato cancellato senza motivo, questo hotel è stato temporaneamente prenotato. Il servizio di reception dell'hotel è buono, la camera è pulita, ma alcune strutture sono rotte e non riparate e ci sono alcune pupe di insetti appese al muro. Quando sono uscito di casa la mattina dopo, avevo riattaccato la carta per favore pulisci la stanza, ma quando sono tornato in hotel alle 18:00, ho scoperto che la stanza non era stata pulita. Altri residenti sullo stesso piano devono suonare di tanto in tanto il campanello sbagliato.
