This hotel was not as it was pictured in the ad that I found. It was run down in a shady part of town. There were friends of some of the staff hanging around in the front parking lot near the check in area using fowl language, playing music and simply acting foolish. I thought it was very unprofessional on the part of the staff member to have their friends being noisy around guests checking in. One part of the hotel was being used to house homeless people (which is wonderful of them to do) however the shady looking people that we saw coming and going made us feel VERY uncomfortable. The rooms were run down as well. The wall to wall carpet was pulled away from the wall in one area of the room and the bathtub bottom was peeling up. The bath towels were small and thin, I think from simply being worn out. The beds were pretty comfortable though. Our friends that we traveled with who stayed in the room next to us had a terrible night. When they entered their room as the door slammed shut the window fell out of its frame. They made the front desk staff aware of it but they put it back into place themselves. Later that night we got a horrible storm with high winds and heavy rains this time the window and the frame fell onto my friends suitcases, luckily the glass didn’t break. My friends propped the window up and back into place this time with the ironing board and a piece of their luggage. My friends were not given any (nor offered) reimbursement/compensation for there awful stay. We will never stay here again.

Ero qui durante il weekend del giorno del Padre, come era anche il mio 77° compleanno. Quando mio figlio vive vicino, sono rimasto qui prima. Sono stato membro dell'elite Marriott per quasi 40 anni, quando ho fatto la prenotazione, ho chiesto una stanza di soprannome e ho contattato l'hotel il giorno prima di arrivare alla richiesta, in modo che potessi avere una stanza tranquilla. A mia età, con diversi problemi di salute, ho bisogno di un buon sonno. Un amico di lungo tempo viaggiò con me. Quando ci siamo recati, purtroppo, non ci erano camere di sopra piano disponibili e ci è stato dato una stanza sul secondo piano. La prima notte era tranquilla, non c'era nessuno sopra di noi; la seconda notte era una storia diversa, perché potevamo sentire un rumore eccessivo da sopra, un rumore che si spostava e il suono dei bambini che correvano in giro, tardi la sera (dopo le 9:00). Quando ho controllato il giorno dopo, ho parlato al divano di rumore, ma non ho avuto risposta. La notte dopo abbiamo soggiornato in un Residence Inn a Richmond. Ho chiesto una stanza di piano superiore in quell'hotel e ne ho avuto una. Ho parlato al personale dell'hotel Richmond del problema del rumore a Waynesboro, e sono preoccupati e scusati, che avrebbe dovuto essere la reazione di questo hotel invece di essere silenziosi. Più di un anno fa, ho avuto problemi di rumore simili con questo hotel e anche problemi di check-in. Ho avuto 3 camere diverse durante le prime 15 ore che ero lì. Ho contattato Marriott per l'assistenza e dopo la loro indagine, mi sono stato assegnato 20.000 punti per l'inconveniente che ho vissuto, ma anche se mi è stato piacevole ricevere i punti, avrei preferito un soggiorno senza problemi. Questo hotel deve affrontare meglio le preoccupazioni dei suoi ospiti più anziani, soprattutto quelli che sono stati con Marriott da molti anni. Anche se ho avuto un buon soggiorno qui (quando sono di solito al piano superiore), sono i cattivi soggiorni che ricordo di più.

Buona posizione, buon hotel

Non è una grande posizione (un po 'di metano visibile nella città). Tuttavia, una posizione decente al parco. Hotel è di nuovo di marca che è molto buono
