I recently booked a 3-night stay at this property for my girlfriend, who was traveling to Stow, OH for a close friend's baby shower. We are Choice Privileges Gold members and usually love staying in Comfort Suites. However, when my girlfriend first entered the room, it was in less than satisfactory condition and, some cosmetic issues aside, here's what she found: First, the door frame must not have been well-secured to the wall; when the door closed, the entire frame moved. Second, every time the bathroom lighting was turned on, the lights flashed multiple times before staying lit. Though a common occurrence in an aging hotel, if someone with epilepsy was assigned to that room, the lighting could've triggered a medical episode. Third, also in the bathroom upon her arrival, there were used and empty shower amenity (soap) packaging left on the counter alongside fresh products. To us, this is unsanitary, unsightly, and also a sign of lazy and inattentive housekeeping. Fourth, the TV wouldn't function (despite trying to change the source inputs--it didn't help). However, our biggest complaint is that, 1 day into the stay we received word that an unexpected, unanticipated medical emergency had occurred in our immediate family and my girlfriend needed to cut her trip to Ohio short to come back home. She spoke to the front desk associate, explained the situation, and he did nothing for her, stating he would need to talk to management. Obviously, she had to leave quickly and couldn't wait and sort things out further, so she called to inform me and I called the hotel myself. The same associate stated he couldn't reach his manager, but for us to call back this morning and speak with her--and *maybe* we could get a refund of one night back. The next morning, my girlfriend spoke with a manager (she did not catch her name), explained the situation, and the manager stated that, because of the rate we'd booked, we were ineligible to get a refund because we would've had to cancel the reservation at least 24 hours in advance. Our question is...HOW COULD WE KNOW AN UNEXPECTED MEDICAL EMERGENCY WAS GOING TO OCCUR?! That's the entire point of: ”UNEXPECTED” and ”EMERGENCY”!! Furthermore, we weren't asking for a FULL refund for all 3 nights--just a refund for the 1 night (tonight) she certainly could no longer use due to leaving 1.5 days into the 3 day original stay. Utterly insane and ridiculous--because YOU CAN RESELL this room for tonight once it's cleaned, yet you cannot refund some of our hard-earned money back to us?! For a hotel that, directly on its website, states it has a ”caring staff”, that must only be during normal situations. They clearly do not plan for, and cannot accommodate, situations outside of the norm, nor actually care about their guests when real life happens and plans change. I can 1000% promise you my girlfriend and I will NEVER return to this property--and also hope future guests staying here don't experience unexpected changes to their

L'unica denuncia è che ci è stato detto che il nostro soggiorno includeva colazione il prossimo giorno di domenica e non avevano niente per noi. Ci siamo alzati presto, quindi non abbiamo perso il colazione. In generale, rimarremmo certamente in questa catena hotel in futuro.

Il servizio era semplicemente ok. Non c'erano coperte extra per il divano letto. La colazione era OK ed era solo un prendi e vai. Non una colazione di successo.

Il cameriere spiegava che non poteva usare i punti di Hilton in persona. Così riluttante mi chiamava Hilton come le chiedo. L'ha fatto sul suo telefono cellulare e mi ha dato il suo telefono era fatto per sentirsi molto inquietante. Uno di loro mi scusò per il suo disturbo, che non aveva avuto alcun contatto occhio con me e che si mummiva sotto il suo respiro. Non c'era problema con la stanza, tranne che il tappeto era indossato molto sottile e si potevano vedere i punti in cui le bevande erano state gettate e non lo shampoo pulito. Anche io chiedo un check-out tardivo alle 1:00. Non era molto accogliente. Ma ha detto che sarebbe stata lì e ricordare la mia richiesta. Non c'è bisogno di dire casa che si ferma a porta nostra alle 11:00.Oh, si', mi ha chiesto se volessi l'acqua che avevo diritto a. Quando le ho detto che era il mio compleanno, mi ha offerto un bar di dolce gratis. Quando ho controllato il cameriere, mi sembrava ancora irritato di non avere buone vibrazioni per quanto riguarda il servizio clienti.

My family and I stayed at the Econolodge in Streetsboro, Ohio for a week. The hotel staff and accomodations were excellent. The room was clean, the beds were firm, and the sheets were quality. The front desk staff was pleasant. They transferred our calls to the room and always had clean towels and toiletries upon request. The landscape was beautiful. Green grass around the building, fresh flowers planted at the front entrance. The maintenance team worked hard to keep the grounds well maintained. They mowed the grass, picked up trash and painted the garage cans and outside barriers! Fresh ice was provided near the vending machines. Plants were placed on the garbage cans creating a very home like feel to the hotel. In addition, incense were placed on each end of the halls. My husband and I enjoyed walking our 14 month old son and 11 year old daughter around the hotel grounds. We loved looking at the all the trees and felt at peace. We also spent a lot of time at the picknick table on the corner of the hotel. This allowed or 14 month old son to play in the grass for the first time. The hotel is within walking distance of Walmart, GameStop and Sheetz as well as other local vendors. This convenience allowed us to make all of our purchases. I would definitely recommend this hotel to to everyone and look forward to booking future visits at Econolodge hotel. Police presence is active and everyone can feel secure. As a have a traveling family and in transition. We have visited other hotels in the area, but we only felt fully welcomed here. Please respect staff...they work very hard to maintain there quality. Management is very approachable, just be respectful and please keep their peace. If, you have a request, just ask and they will give their honest opinion. All the staff are from the area and they work hard to insure your stay is quality. If your a smoker, please smoke outside in designated areas. There are multiple places to put your discards into trash. They trash is always done. Place in Hallway respectfully and the staff will take care of it. Good Business, creates Better Business. We would say they are the most Respectfully hotel in the area, to all types of respectful people.
