The nicest staff on the planet work at the Somerset Inn. We are part of a figure skating club in the Northeast and we stayed at the Somerset Inn while competing in a national championship at a nearby ice arena. We’re talking about a hundred kids and their parents, not to mention coaches. Everyone’s nervous, exhausted from traveling, and the parents are juggling working from a hotel for a week. The staff at the Somerset Inn took care of us not just like family, but like that favorite cousin you’re excited to see at the reunion. I’ve traveled all over the world for work and fun, and it was some of the best service I’ve ever had. The best part was the last night—the teams had medaled and were coming back on the bus late at night, maybe 10.30pm. All the families were waiting in the lobby to give them a hero’s welcome and it was LOUD—lots of cheering and clapping. I looked back at the front desk, nervous that they might want to shush us bc even though we had taken over most of the hotel, there were other guests and it would have been understandable. The staff were smiling away, laughing and looking as proud as the parents. It was the sweetest thing and made an already great moment that much better to see them share it with us. We all went home the next day and when I woke up in my own bed for the first time in a week, I got a text from one of the other moms saying “I already miss the mini muffins.” Love love love the team at Somerset Inn (and their mini muffins).

Con Covid, abbiamo dovuto perdere un paio di anni. E' stato così bello tornare. Il meglio era di vedere Shamim, Golam, Titu e Ray. Abbiamo persino dovuto parlare con Cheryl al telefono. The staff at the Somerset Inn took care of us not just like family, but like that favorite cousin you’re excited to see at the reunion. I’ve traveled all over the world for work and fun, and it was some of the best service I’ve ever had. The best part was the last night—the teams had medaled and were coming back on the bus late at night, maybe 10.30pm. All the families were waiting in the lobby to give them a hero’s welcome and it was LOUD—lots of cheering and clapping. I looked back at the front desk, nervous that they might want to shush us bc even though we had taken over most of the hotel, there were other guests and it would have been understandable. The staff were smiling away, laughing and looking as proud as the parents. It was the sweetest thing and made an already great moment that much better to see them share it with us. We all went home the next day and when I woke up in my own bed for the first time in a week, I got a text from one of the other moms saying “I already miss the mini muffins.” Love love love the team at Somerset Inn (and their mini muffins).

UUtente ospiteCon Covid, abbiamo dovuto perdere un paio di anni. E' stato così bello tornare. Il meglio era di vedere Shamim, Golam, Titu e Ray. Abbiamo persino dovuto parlare con Cheryl al telefono. Questo posto ha i membri del personale più sorprendenti. Non posso aspettare di rivederci tutti il prossimo fine settimana.

UUtente ospiteHotel pulito e tranquillo. Il lobby è bellissimo. Durante la riparazione in corso. Solo i problemi erano il bagno disidratato lentamente. E l'acqua fuga sotto la luce. Il mio amico e io l'abbiamo portato all'attenzione del desk front al checkout. Grazie per il servizio amichevole. È troppo cattivo la piscina all'aperto. Vorrei che lo facessero all'interno.
