My college roommate and I stayed with John during the Belmont Stakes race weekend in Saratoga Springs (about 20 minutes north). John's Inn is super cozy and cool and chock full of interesting art and do dads (like a museum). The outdoor area is super well tended, with flowers and more art. Being the oasis that it is, chipmunks and rabbits and birds run / fly around his back patio / seating area. The bedroom we booked, had two twin beds that were super comfortable and the best pillows that I've had anywhere (feather pillows that were not too stuffed or empty). I slept like a baby both nights. Shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. John's breakfast was spectacular (he varied it from day to day and each day was better than the last). You can sit outside on his patio, which we did, but one day we just sat around the island in his kitchen and ate with John and the other guests, while John cooked and we all chatted. Felt like home. His super chill, very sweet dogs (two rescue greyhounds) hung out and minded their own business but did enjoy being patted as well. John is an extremely gracious host and you will be very happy if you take my advice and give The Garden Farm Inn a try. Cheers and thanks for a fine weekend John. Hotel in centro di Hudson e vicino a tutto a Troy -- facile accesso ai ristoranti, al mercato agricolo e all'autostrada. Molti parcheggi. Piccola camera con vista sul fronte dell'acqua. Camera di dimensioni normali con divano. Grande bagno con cammino in doccia. La giornata di Bastro è stata ricevuta con un'offerta di colazione (pagata) e cena, ma non ho mangiato laggiù, quindi non posso commentare. La migliore caratteristica per me è stata la capacità di camminare in città e provare uno dei tanti buoni ristoranti. Troy ha un po' di ricchezza e meravigliosa architettura.

The hotel was very clean. The linen was soft and thick. The beds are comfortable. The pillows were plentiful. Having the Keurig machine with K cups was a plus. Microwave and small refrigerator were helpful in the room. The parking lot was convenient and large enough for everybody. The pool was adequate size and the fitness room was all set up. The only options in the hotel for breakfast was sit down and order specifics or sit down and order buffet . Nothing quick to grab on the go or eat quick if needing to get to an event

I had requested an early check-in for two rooms for family coming from out-of-town to attend a wedding. I was told by the hotel that they could not guarantee an early check-in because they had a ”full hotel” the day before the planned arrival date. However, when I called the hotel I was able to book the same exact rooms the day before the planned arrival date. So clearly I was lied to, the hotel was not full, and I was forced to pay for two full nights when I really only needed a few additional hours. What a scam and ripoff. They clearly could have provided the early check-in since they had empty room the day before our planned arrival. Just disgraceful.

We are from the UK on a road trip . Booked this hotel on the last minute . It was very reasonable , we didn’t expect much . Well we were pleasantly surprised . Lovely staff ,we got upgraded to a spa room , amazing big room with all amenities we needed . Clean and comfortable. Free breakfast as well . Definitely would stay here again .

This place is a disgrace from start to finish....Weeds growing all over the front and back of the property, mold in the bathroom, broken mirror light, no air conditioning, and not even coffee or coffee cups for breakfast!!!!.....I would give zero stars if I could. Hotel manager just gave excuses instead of accommodating. Horrendous stay

Exceptional customer service by Zhania (Front Desk Manager). After a long trip to get to this HI Express I was greeted in a warm, friendly and professional manner. She checked me in quickly while fully sharing all of the details of the hotel and my stay. She is a great representative of the IHG brand.

This hotel was filthy (clumps of long hair on the wall and in the bathroom corners). Upon arrival, the AC was not working in the room. We called the front desk and were told not to touch the AC machine and only use the wall mounted controls. They were not working so we asked that they send a maintenance person to look at it since it was uncomfortably hot in the room. We were informed they do not have a maintenance person on site nor do they have one on call. So after fiddling around with it for a while we figured out you had to turn it on at the machine first before the wall controls would work. We called down to the front desk to tell them we had figured it out and the front desk person responds with “ohh I think I saw a memo about that room”. Thankfully we got it up and running. When we arrived at the hotel it was 10:30pm, we saw the room had no cloths, shower towels or hand towels so since everyone was tired we waiting until the following morning on our way out to a baseball tournament to ask the front desk to bring towels to our room only to be told “they don’t do that”. So we had to wait for the towels to be handed to us to bring back to our room. The breakfast - Sub par to say the least. Was not very good, not a ton of options and very limited quantities. At 8am there were no more potato patties left, when we asked if they would add more they told us they ran out an hour before. That means they ran out of potatoes 30 minutes into breakfast service. Breakfast starts at 6:30 and they were out by 7am. If you can stay somewhere else… Do it.
