Front desk said our room was ready, king smoking room. I said “oh no I would never select a smoking room, in fact I didn’t even know anyone still offered them and there certainly isn’t anyway online to select that.” I was told that was all that was available and since we were there for the US Open there were no rooms available anywhere in the area. In addition to stinking, the room had: Ripped and stained sheets (blood stain) Peeling wallpaper Very noisy a/c Broken handle on front door Exactly one working electrical plug unless you wanted to unplug one of the two working lamps Bathroom door that would not close We left one night early in spite of the refusal to remove one nights expense. There have been no visible updates to this motel for maybe 30 years….

I stayed here for a week May 12 - May 18, 2024. I work remotely from home and wanted to just get away from home for this week because guests were coming in and i wanted somewhere quiet and figured that this place has great reviews. I honestly found this place to be more than i expected, the owners were very very helpful and lovely indian couple. During my check-in I told them that i am just going to spend all day working and ask if my room comes with a desk that i can work on and they they said no but offered a double bedroom which came with a desk and they also told me that room service is mandatory and i would have to leave for a few minutes for that. The room and the whole place is SUPER CLEAN which i really honestly admire so very much. Not only that, every single morning as soon as i walk out of my room to get breakfast the room service would ask me if it they can clean my room until i come back from breakfast even if they were in the middle of cleaning other rooms so my work would not be disrupted during the day. I really appreciate that so very much and every time i got back from breakfast or whatever i always get a cleaner room and work throughout the day. The other thing i admire about this place is how quite and peaceful and safe the place is, its really nice if you want to just get away and spend some quiet and peaceful time with yourself. Breakfast was also okay i mean for the price you pay i'd say it is definitely fair. I saw a many people say ”you get what you paid for” and i agree with that but considering the whole service and what i described from my personal experience, i can say that i really got more than what i paid for and i am very happy with that. I would absolutely stay here again if there is an opportunity to do so and i highly recommend this place to anyone.

Our weekend stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. This hotel was exceptionally well kept and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. If you are going to the Southern Pines area - this is the place to stay!

Great room with great air conditioner in 91 degree humidity. Clean and spacious room with a very caring and accommodating staff. Gas, groceries, and pharmacies are just down the street along with many restaurants. I’m 74 years old and use a walker and will stay here again next trip.

Il mio figlio di 20 anni ha avuto il primo importante colloquio a Aberdeen. Ho prenotato questa stanza per lui b/c vive 5 ore di distanza dal quartier generale dove doveva intervistare. Questo hotel è a 5 minuti di distanza. Ho letto la loro politica dice che devi essere 21 per controllare - dopo la prenotazione. Quindi ho chiamato l'hotel Immediatamente. Il GM ha detto finché il mio nome e la carta di credito era sul file che avrebbe fatto una nota e non ci sarebbe stato alcun problema. Beh, non è stato il caso. Mio figlio fu parlato con cortesia e il divano di fronte non gli era utile né benvenuto. Ho capito che i ragazzi potevano essere un problema, ma era sotto abbastanza stress. Con la tecnologia, potrei essere contattato tramite zoom, Google Duo, FaceTime, Team, ecc così il mio volto e la licenza sarebbero stati visto. Inoltre, questo è un modo terribile per sentirsi proprio prima della prima grande intervista. Le persone devono essere trattate con rispetto indipendentemente dalla loro età.
