My fiancé and I did a hotel buyout of the Arroyo for our wedding this month, and it was absolutely worth it! Our friends and family stayed in all the rooms, which were lovely, spacious, and comfortable. The Arroyo also catered our goodbye brunch the Sunday after the wedding, and it was FANTASTIC. They provided a decadent buffet of French toast, sausage, eggs, quiche, bacon, kept the coffee fresh, and included a few bottles of bubbly and orange juice to make mimosas. We were a bit slow getting all of our wedding guests out, but the owners were extremely relaxed about letting us take our time to spend our final moments with all our friends and family. Given the size of our wedding, we also did a hotel buyout of another boutique inn down the street, Bi**** Ho****. If you're deciding between these two, choose the Arroyo, hands down. Communication with the Arroyo staff was excellent, unlike the owners at B***** H****, who we contacted many times via emails, texts, and phone calls, only to receive responses sporadically. Due to this lack of communication, there was a severe misunderstanding between us that resulted in a really awful exchange on our last day. It was the only negative experience of our entire wedding weekend. If you want to spend a lot of money and be treated poorly by a pretentious couple who seem to think they are overseeing a museum rather than a hotel, stay at Bi***** Ho****. However, if you want to have a pleasant hospitality experience without the drama, complete with excellent food and beautiful views, the Arroyo is your place! Services: - The staffs are polite and friendly. Facilities: - Public - No gym. The breakfast place is too small. The lobby is spacy, well-decorated. The lift is too old. The overall impression is good and like a home. Room - The noise cancellation between rooms is not so good. The toilet seems too narrow. The room is spacy and comfortable. Food - Only breakfast available, better than the general American style.

I like the location of the Green Tree, which is near the Del Mar metro station in Pasadena, and convenient for getting to JPL or Caltech. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and they have a nice bowl of fresh fruit available at the check-in. However, I have two quibbles. First, I found the billing to be perplexing. Online travel agencies said I would be charged an extra $5 on site, but in fact I was charged an extra $12.20 (+ a $100 deposit which has not yet been credited back to me). Since I was traveling for work, I needed a $0 balance receipt to document that charge, and the reception staff were unable to provide an appropriate receipt. Second, the room was cold, with air-conditioning set to 64 F when I arrived. I turned off the air conditioning, but I was cold in bed and unable to find a blanket or extra layer. If I stay again, I guess I'll bring my own blankets and will try to book differently (perhaps directly through the hotel) in hopes of getting a receipt that my travel reimbursement folks can process.

We are utterly smitten with Hotel Dena - it has exceeded all our expectations for an artistic, pristine, and laid-back boutique hotel. The hotel was freshly renovated just last year, so every single amenity and piece of equipment is impressively modern. We were arranged in a first-floor ”small loft” room complete with a private balcony - undoubtedly one of the highlights of our entire trip. The hotel's decor is nothing short of captivating, with a cinematic ambiance evident throughout the common areas. From the impeccably styled furniture to the mesmerizing artwork and paintings, every design element contributes to an utterly enchanting atmosphere. In fact, I would unhesitatingly award Dena a rating of 6 out of 5 stars to fully convey my deep adoration for this establishment. If we're ever blessed with the opportunity to visit Los Angeles again, Dena will unquestionably be our top choice. 🌹🌹🌹

Non ho viaggiato da molto tempo, ma dirò che ero molto felice della mia scelta per il Day's Inn. Il manager era molto amichevole e il personale di pulizia ha fatto un grande lavoro. La gente dell'hotel è molto dolce e accogliente, ma deve fare meglio quando puliscono le camere dell'hotel...il bacino ha profumato come un'acqua potabile. Pensavo fosse solo una notte, ma ogni volta che lo giriamo era un odore forte. Mi sentivo grosso anche lavare le mani, lasciare che mi spogliassi i denti. Il drenaggio doveva essere pulito in hotel. I venti erano pieni di sporcizia. Ho avuto il mio bambino e mi ha appena deluso di più di qualsiasi cosa. Mi sentivo sporco. Era troppo tardi per cambiare o fare qualcosa. Per favore, fate meglio per la salute degli altri.

Molto ortodosso, molto normale, un hotel molto forte in termini di business accademical. È vicino alla città di Pasadena, e Wuda può arrivare.E'che la finestra della stanza è troppo piccola, un po'spaventosa.

The location is very convenient for Pasadena and surrounds. It's just a short walk to shops and restaurants and felt safe at night. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. Downsides: They were heavy-handed in using an industrial strength room deodorizer in lieu of giving it a deep clean. The smell barely faded after leaving the window open 24/7. We found kibble on the floor because they hadn't vacuumed properly. (Maybe the previous pet-owner occupant was the reason for the deodorizer?) The fridge wasn't working and they did try to fix it. But in the end it never worked so we had to through out all of our perishables. The room never felt that clean or well cared for. No, I would not recommend staying here.
