L'hotel era in buona forma, le camere sono decente, i bambini godevano la piscina. Il nostro a/c è fugato e ho sentito che si gonfiava nel mattino sul tappeto, ma passavamo e solo una notte siamo andati a Colorado, quindi non ci ha mollato troppo. Dopo aver tornato dal Colorado, abbiamo capito che i miei figli avevano lasciato un animale stufo e la mia borsa di maquillaggio nella stanza dell'hotel. Per fortuna i bambini erano stati incastrati e guardati carini quella mattina, e ho preso una foto e il cane si trovava proprio accanto a mio figlio. Ho chiamato e mail l'hotel e mesi dopo non hanno ancora recuperato l'animale stufato o il mio sacchetto di maquillaggio con 100+ dollari di maquillaggio. Mio figlio ha pianto così tante volte per il suo animale stufato da quando era piccolo e che è stato disturbante. Per favore, sapete se restate qui e lasciate qualcosa dietro di voi, probabilmente non la ritroverete mai. Così, purtroppo, il personale che ho parlato sembrava utile tornare in camera, ma sono stati giorni dopo che siamo rimasti all'ora in cui l'ho capito. Sono sicuro che ci sono molti buoni che lavorano là, oltre alla persona responsabile delle nostre mancanze.

Good location in the downtown, near restaurants, bars, waterfront parks and other attractions. Reasonable pricing. Easy booking. Very nice bed, bedding, shower & sprayer, bath tub, toliet and bathroom well stocked with supplies. Kureg Coffee Maker & coffee and botted water supplied. The rooftop level has large indoor bar, tables and couches. There is also a large outdoor area with tables and seating. Both indoor and outdoor areas on rooftop were packed on the Sat evening in mid-May when I stayed there.

We took family from out of town to the hotel last night, November 13, 2023, for an after dinner drink. They had never been to the Hotel Blackhawk and we were excited to show them what we thought was always an upscale, classy establishment. My husband and I hadn’t been in the hotel in several months, but we were shocked to see a homeless person (who appeared to be under the influence of something), curled up in a ball sleeping in the side entryway of the hotel. We were totally embarrassed that our family now has this image as the first thing they saw in the hotel. As soon as my husband opened the door and we saw this person laying there, I was totally turned off. We said something to one of the bartenders, but he just laughed it off. This is an expensive hotel, even if you’re just going for dinner and/or drinks. It has always been classy, so I’m not sure what has happened. I’m reading many 1 and 2 star reviews now when this hotel used to be the place to stay in the QC. It’s so sad to me! I have emailed the hotel directly and hope their response will be more appropriate than the bartender’s last night. It didn’t seem like the staff last night was the top brass. I hope it was just an off night, but please do not let non-patrons of the hotel loiter in/around the hotel. Who knows what these people are on and it could turn dangerous. This hotel used to be a place for business travelers, couples, and families. Doesn’t seem to be managed as it once was.

Sai come restare sempre a Hilton perché sai quale livello di qualità si aspetta? Allora questo non è l'hotel per te. Il mio consiglio è continuare a guardare. I miei figli e io abbiamo prenotato qui, a Bettendorf, IA, lungo il fiume da Moline, IL a causa della piscina (l'Axis in Moline, IL, è l'opzione Hilton-no piscina), siamo rimasti al primo piano la prima notte. Vi dico che l'aroma di zolfo, uova rotte, odore di rifiuti che permea circa le 4 p.m. è quasi insopportabile, e ciò che è insopportabile è la perdita della porta esterna che permea ripetutamente. Abbiamo cambiato le camere la seconda notte per rimanere al secondo piano e abbiamo avuto grandi speranze che fosse un respiro di aria fresca. Purtroppo, l'A/C non ha funzionato attraverso il termostat sulla parete. Era super freddo o super stufa tutta la notte. Il letto è stato rotto e con il movimento più piccolo ha fatto un alto rumore, rumore screening. La tecnologia manca con zero USB o USB-C hub. Questo Hilton è un Inn di Quality, al meglio.
