I’ve read a lot of bad reviews and decided to take a look into this hotel myself. In the end, I was VERY happy. Front desk was so nice! Chidera had helped me for my first night stay. If I needed something, all I had to do was ask. She was right on top of it! If I had an issue, they fixed it ASAP! The pool was nice. The beds were comfortable. It’s mayfly season so of course there’s going to be a million bugs outside, not much you can do with the mayflies. I had a complaint about noise and the Night Shift person took care of it right away. Very happy with my stay. Would 10/10 recommend.

I highly recommend staying away from this hotel. I had no intention of writing a negative review but I have never been treated worse at a hotel in my life. My family and I were traveling to Port Clinton for my brother's wedding. He had selected this hotel almost a year in advance due to its proximity to the wedding venue and gifted the hotel with many block room reservations. You can imagine my horror and surprise when we arrived close to 11pm to find a note on the front counter saying the water would be completely shut off the next day (see attached photo). I was in disbelief and didn't know what to say. There we no Ubers or taxis around that late, no other hotels to check into, and the rest of my entire family and extended family would be checking in the next day. To make matters worse, we were never given a single notification of this trip-altering catastrophe ahead of time. Not one email, phone call, or text. We had no choice but to check in and hope for the best. The next day the water was off over an hour longer than was originally planned. The bride and groom had to get ready off site. The entire purpose of a hotel is to provide basic needs you would usually get at home. I thought this problem would be easily rectified but when we requested reimbursement for simply one night, we were told that we had the option to not check in and go elsewhere. As I said before, this was not feasible and not possible at the time. It is a poor excuse so they don't have to refund any money. As a manager you do not make your hotel's problem your guests' problem. The hotel and its management failed miserably at showing even the most basic level of compassion. In addition to the fact we were not reimbursed, I showed every courtesy to Alicia, the general manager, and received none in return. I kindly emailed her and her assistant general manager, Sylvia, and received no response for a week. I followed up the email and still no response. I had to eventually call them and that's when they explained their position. If you have another choice please do not subject yourself to this poor hotel and instead choose another location.

This place is so good!! The front desk staff are so polite,friendly and very nice.The room itself was very clean,free from any odors,and was just perfect for what we needed.The free breakfast was an unexpected bonus.Loved the pool as well after a hot day out exploring.Keep up the good work guys,you doing good!!!

Il nostro appartamento non era affatto come il sito NON CLOSE. Era terribile. Quando siamo arrivati per la prima volta sono andato all'hotel che si trova davanti al appartamento e pensavo che fosse dove abbiamo controllato. Nessuno dei membri del personale era nel lobby e andò a cercare qualcuno che chiedesse e trovava una persona molto brutta che lavorava in una piccola zona di cena che fortunatamente mi ha guidato dove si trovava l'ufficio. Per essere onesti, il piccolo che ho visto di questo hotel avrebbe dovuto essere anche il primo ”flag rosso” avvertimento di ciò che era ancora da venire. Un altro ”flag rosso” dopo l'arrivo ci è stato detto che eravamo gli unici (e ci sono stati molti divano in fila sulla proprietà). Dopo aver salito nel cottage che ci è stato mostrato dal proprietario, era sporco, odore, molto corsa e ancora una volta non tutto quello che è mostrato sul sito. So che alcuni siti web non mostrano sempre la realtà dei siti, ma non è nemmeno stato chiuso. Appena vidi il cottage che mi lamentava, e ci mostrava una ”Villa”, non era molto meglio. Questo non era molto meglio. Dopo le ore di viaggio, mio marito mi ha fatto tanto rabbiare, abbiamo cercato di trovare altri alloggi nella zona, ma non poteva. Il nostro errore non era quello di chiedere il bagno prima di accedere e pagare il saldo dovuto. Abbiamo ritornato chiedere il nostro denaro e abbiamo ricevuto il nostro controllo indietro. Non il nostro deposito indietro. Avvertimento ...Il proprietario vuole un controllo non cc. Avrei dovuto prendere il consiglio di altri reclami di Trip Adviser e non sono andato lì.Abbiamo chiamato due volte e chiesto il rimborso del nostro deposito perché non c'erano altre riserve, quindi non era come se ci tenessero un posto. Nessuno risponde mai al telefono. Non c'è nessuno che ti richiama, ho visto la vista del lago da lontano, sembrava buona, ma non siamo mai giunti a quel punto per vederla vicino.
