How do I begin with this disaster of an experience? We were visiting Fort Wayne for a graduation party. We stayed Thursday (6/6) and Friday (6/7). Let’s start with the lobby, it was musty and felt “damp”. When I told the lady I was there to check in, she looked confused and asked if I had a reservation. Once I told her yes, it seemed to be a challenge to program the room key. As I went towards my room, I noticed the rug. Not sure how long it has been since that has been cleaned. I chose Baymont because I’ve always known them to be of higher quality. This one was NOT! The building is older and run down and needs to be overhauled. I was extremely disappointed in my stay. To top it all off, my car was hit by another car in the parking lot. I had no idea, and I was not notified. This was the only place that my car was backed into a parking spot. Unfortunately, I didn’t see the damage until we were already home. I took pictures, and it’s not that bad, but it’s the principle. How does another human hit a car and just walk away, without notifying someone? This is when I wish them, whoever is responsible, the day they deserve! I would prefer a refund, but I seriously doubt the management/owners will even care because obviously don't care about the ongoing disrepair of their establishment. Rooms1.0Service1.0Location2.0 RoomsThe bed was nice, fairly comfortable. I can’t complain too much about that. It served its purpose. I believe the towels were either previously used or stained and needed to be replaced. The in-room coffee maker was so janky/broken, I didn’t even attempt to use it. Now for the shower. As you will see in the pictures, the drain wasn’t even attached. I was able to get the faucet on, but worried I wouldn’t be able to turn it off. The faucet was loose and didn't really work right. There was used soap on the ledge, from the previous guest, with hair all over it. I’m not sure what the attachment was on the floor of the tub, but it seemed to be covering a hole…because it did not feel stable, I felt as though I could fall through at any moment. I basically rinsed off as quickly as I could. As you will also see in the pictures…THE SMOKE DETECTOR WAS WRAPPED IN CLING WRAP. WHY? Not sure this would pass a safety inspection, and I'm just grateful there wasn't a fire! I didn’t search for a hidden camera, but probably should have. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel full of helpful staff and really make you feel at home. To name a few that went over and beyond for us are Jared, Takia and Kierra. We are most thankful to the General Manager Mustafa always in a great attitude ready to make someone’s day better. We thankyou for that and your kindness. Mrs. Mitzy is the sweetest lady that makes your delicious continental breakfast. She makes sure you leave full and satisfied. Her kindness and smile is so bright you just can’t help but smile in her presence. We will miss you very much! These are just a few people who made our stay amazing and there are so many more thank you for all you do to all the staff. The rooms and the whole facility is very clean and spacious. We enjoyed a hot tub night and it was very relaxing. This hotel has a lot going for them and is also in a great location. A perfect place to wind down and get a good nights rest. Absolutely recommend !! ☺️

L'Holiday Inn Express sul lato nord di Fort Wayne è stato un conveniente punto di fermata per il nostro recente viaggio. Si è dimostrato una buona scelta. L'hotel è circa 5 anni ma si sente ancora nuovo. Il letto era meraviglioso comodo con letti morbidi e fermi. La camera reale e il bagno erano molto puliti.Le strutture della camera erano buone con una sola eccezione - la sedia dura, inconfortabile che è attualmente fornita a HIE. Il colazione HIE è sempre abbondante e delizioso - un buon inizio al giorno. Noi amiamo i rulli di canapa firmata! La luce è buona con l'eccezione dello specchio del bagno che rende difficile la rasatura. In generale, siamo stati felici di questa esperienza HIE, e ci fermeremmo di nuovo.

La stanza ha un bagno, ma il personale di servizio è molto gentile.

The breakfast buffet is truly outstanding. My favorite service (shout out to Theresa!) and foods selection in my travels. We had special needs. The staff were friendly, courteous, and accommodating. This was not our first stay at the hotel. Thank you so much for making our overnight stay so enjoyable.
