UUtente ospiteQuesto hotel era in un ottimo luogo per visitare il Monte Rushmore e le aree circostanti. Il personale era molto amichevole e la camera era pulita e confortevole. La città si chiude alle ore 9:00, quindi l'unica cosa mancante è stato cibo e intrattenimento dopo 9-10pm. Ci sono città a poche miglia da qui che hanno posti che restano aperti un po' più tardi. Piano di prendere tempo per mangiare presto e godere della città. E 'molto carino e ci sono molte cose divertenti da fare!

1164sherriwI picked this hotel due to the cancellation policy - several hotels in the area are nonrefundable. My life is in constant flux so nonrefundable wasn't for me. The location is good as its right off I90 in Rapid City. The hotel lobby was very pleasant with a warm greeting awaiting us and since we were Honor members I was given the choice of choosing what room and location I wanted. We picked the first floor and never had any noise problems. The rooms have Luxury vinyl flooring which I thought made sense (carpeting can get kinda gross) the room was very clean and kind of non traditional - There is no dressers but rather a long bench to put your luggage on with storage underneath. For toiletries instead of the usual hand soap and bottles of shampoos etc there were squeeze bottles with hand soap, lotion, shampoo all attached to the wall. I would have preferred pump dispensers as I found it hard to squeeze at times. There were hooks on the walls for handing coats etc. The shower was large again with squeeze bottles however the water flow from the shower was on water saver mode. It only had one large stream not the usual spray effect. I think this was due to The city being on high plains and not with great water sources. We got used to it. There isn't a microwave in the room nor a coffee maker. But the lobby had all that - I found the first floor location handy for this. The lobby offered coffee, water, tea and was well stocked. They had other treats for a cost. The breakfast was the usual pancakes, cereal, eggs, sausage fair and was open until 10am. If you didn't like the Hilton offers you were welcome to go to the Hampton Inn and use their facilities. My family and I really enjoyed our stay there. I would recommend it highly.

CColleen NelsonOld, tired convention center hotel.- former Embassy? BUT, very good Lobby bar with a great martini & good menu! Large pool, friendly, attentive staff. Rooms are big enough but bathroom very small. Lots of mildew and stained tile and upholstery...lumpy bedding. Very small elevators for a very large facility that was sold old for a concert nextdoor.

By far not a “bad” hotel but was disappointed. I travel A LOT across all brands and typically a Residence Inn is one of my favorites. But this location falls short of my expectations. …maybe because it is next door to a water park and instead of business clients, it has more families and vacationers (the place was packed with kids while we were there)? The facility is nice- what you would expect from a Marriott brand. However, a few minor things were noticed. Most nice hotels have now gone back to daily housekeeping- this location has not. We could have requested service during our three days but did not. Not a big deal, but noticeable. Second, the mirror in the bathroom is damaged. Certainly not a big deal, but noticeable. Trust me, I know the brand standards for breakfast service and standards were offered — just without any extras or common sense or attention to detail. Scrambled eggs full of water content (from being microwaved). BUT the container of salsa was there but no cheese like most properties. Bread, English muffins and bagels were there but no danish or nutra-grain type bars common at most locations. No waffles, no Nutella (for bananas) but they did have the standard peanut butter, oatmeal was empty two out of three mornings. Standard orange and apple juice but lacking the usual cranberry at most locations. Temperatures were in upper 90’s in Rapid City but no urn of ice water infused with lemons or cucumbers in the lobby. But hot coffee is yours for the taking. I just left a Townplace Suites by Marriott earlier in the week. There for breakfast each morning, you had two kinds of waffles with a rotating fruit compote (strawberry and blueberry), chocolate sauce, whipped cream and sprinkles were also offered. In addition, there was a rotating egg choice (scrambled egg, omelet style with cheese on the mornings I was there PLUS rotating protein (bacon, sausages etc), Plus an entree choice that also rotates (quiche, ham and Swiss croissant, sausage biscuit while we were there. Cranberry and chocolate milk. Now back to the Residence Inn: Again no quiche, biscuits, or step up offerings but today instead of scrambled egg, they had round eggs (think McDonald’s egg McMuffin style) which would have been fine if I could have made my own, but the only protein was long link sausage— so no muffin sandwich for me (bacon or Canadian bacon or patty sausage would have worked but oh yeah no cheese at this location. Of course none of this is really a big deal in itself but it falls short compared to other Marriott experiences.

LLeeLa stanza è pulita e pulita. Viviamo nella suite, una camera da letto e una sala, ci sono divano (coca fuori per fare un letto), un piccolo frigorifero, un microonde. L'hotel è collegato al parco acquatico, ci sono molte famiglie con bambini che soggiornano. Il bambino corre durante il giorno, il rumore continua, ma è ancora tranquillo quando dorme la notte.L'unica carenza è probabilmente la colazione, non molto.

UUtente ospiteUpon arrival infprmed entire cleaning staff resigned so had to wait. Well, during sturgis rally I took higher road and refused room cleaning. I didnt want to pile on. Bed was like a sandwich -bad backs beware. Slept few hours a nite but, bed orevent avrestful bight sagged at every possible angle tried. Room was very clean except grout a tile near tub.
Breakfast was muffin make your own waffle eggs skin milk ceral bacon toast bagels muffin. Eat elsewhere coffee was good.
Rest of hotel I woukdnt judge they wrre adaptung best they could

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per un paio di notti in previsione della visita che avremmo fatto presso il Monte Rushmore. L'hotel si trova a circa 15 minuti di passeggiata dal centro di Rapid City. Ampio parcheggio. Stanza ampia e comoda. Buona colazione anche se viene servita solo fino alle 09:00 L'hotel è dotato di una piscina interna con anche due vasche idromassaggio con acqua calda per rilassarsi. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo

2000 not 200 characters would not be enough to cover my warning to stay away from this place. The photos must be of some other location, they don't match what we stayed in. We were tired and picked a bad time accommodation wise, Mostly we should have looked at the year old complaints that were still unfixed. There were people selling items in the parking lot, there were lots of potholes in the driver ways, the carpet and sheets were stained, the exit doors repeatedly propped open. Our first floor window was fastened by a bent screw. In order to save Super 8 the trouble of responding with their usual 'Shock' of hearing after a year or so of the same issues I will answer for them. ”Wyndham Super 8 are horrified to hear about the situation you and thousands of others spending their hard earned money have constantly found here. We sincerely promise you they will be looked into as they have in the past and receive the same amount of attention or less. We really don't intend to do anything to make your stay better or fix any of the issues you have raised as long as you are willing to pay for substandard treatment. While we do have plenty of room at our inn, we suggest you might try a local stable. While they are a lot cheaper, have clean accommodation and would be safer they don't spend a small fortune on advertising lies about our location and instead actually do something about their customers complaints”.
