We have been to North Conway many times over the years. This was our first stay here at the Residence Inn Marriott. I have Celiac disease, so I have to very careful not to consume gluten. Usually, the breakfast buffets at these hotels are not safe for me to eat or don't offer too many GF options. I asked Kristen about GF options and she could not have been more helpful. She provided the ingredient labels from the items I was interested in. They even have Udi's GF bagels and blueberry muffins that are individually packaged. The best part was they brought out a dedicated GF toaster that they keep in the back! What a great experience thanks to Kristen for taking the time to explain all the GF options they have to offer. We will definitely be back here!

Jacuzzi Room M12 has a private entrance from the main porch. Bedroom is on the small side, but there is a small suite entrance with couch for extra space to put things. Because the room is on the front corner of the main house you hear some noise from the road and cars coming and going in the parking lot, as well as the (expected) snow plow and shoveling in the morning. The king-size memory foam mattress in M12 was not comfortable for me, but as a rule I do not prefer memory foam (it was fine for my husband and may be for others). The biggest problem was loud clicking and banging noises from what we figured was the heat, all night. The owners said they plan to look into this issue. The jacuzzi in the room was great, and we also used the hot tub outside twice (once during the day and once at night). We also appreciated having the brook out back available to snowshoe on a day it was snowing so that we didn't have to drive anywhere in the weather. Everything was very clean, the staff warm and helpful, and breakfast food was excellent both mornings. A nice place to stay away from the busy downtown but still close to everything.

KKathleen CWith the terrible late-season snow storm, our condo had no heat and electric for 4 days. We stayed at the North Conway Mountain Inn for one night. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had heat that worked, a bed, and a shower -- we were happy! The good: - The views are stunning. - Bed was comfortable with the added perk: Waking up to that view right from the bed! - Private balconies overlooking the mountains were great (but too cold to use in April) - Staff was welcoming and helpful. For this alone, I moved the rating from a 3 to 4 star. - Room was clean and all things were in working order (TV, lights, heat, etc) Areas of improvement: - The facility itself is a tad dated with thin walls/ceiling. I was woken up several times during the night by thumping above us and I am usually a sound sleeper. - Updates to the decor and bedding would definitely perk things up. - No breakfast.

TTrysha BI very rarely write reviews, but I felt this was important. I read the reviews for this motel AFTER my husband had already booked the room. I was not happy…..I was quite nervous, but the room was booked, there we no available hotel rooms under $250.00 for one night and we were 2 hours away from home, so we didn’t really have a choice. We got to the hotel very late that night. There was nobody there to check us in, but our room keys and instructions were waiting for us at the door. Awesome! We get to our room, open the door and to our surprise the room was beautiful! All updated and new! The colors in the room were grey, white and brown and had red accents which made for a pretty cool pop of color! Our 2 double beds were so comfy! The sheets and comforter were so soft that we didn’t want to get out of bed the next morning! Pros-the bathroom is gorgeous, modern and brand spankin’ new! There is a dispenser filled with shampoo and body wash hanging in the shower. There is also a permanent nightlight in the bathroom. I liked that. The beds are very comfy and so is the bedding. There is a little coffee pot, fridge, a big screen tv, small round table and a chair in the room. The air conditioning/heating unit is brand new. We set the temperature to our liking with no issues. Cons- These are not necessarily bad things, but if you are used to regular hotel rooms with amenities, then you might want to read this to prepare. There is no tub, so you can’t give your baby a bath. There is no closet, no ironing board, no hooks and no hangers anywhere in the room. If you’re going to a wedding and planning on staying at this hotel just know that you can’t hang your dress or suit anywhere. There is however a bureau and shelving for your stuff. We had to fold our winter jackets and put them on the shelves. I didn’t like that. When it rains or snows and your jackets are wet you’ll have to lay them on the bed or chair, I suppose. There is no microwave. There is no hair dryer. There is a sliding pocket door to the bathroom, but no handle to open the door from the inside. Would I stay at this hotel again? OH ABSOLUTELY! Would I recommend it to people looking for a hotel to stay at?? OH ABSOLUTELY! If I was the owner/s of this hotel I would look into installing hooks of some kind for guests to hang jackets etc., because there is no closet. I’d also install a handle to get out of the bathroom. That being said, they are doing a wonderful job renovating the rooms. It’s a work in progress. Things take time, but all of their hard work will pay off in the end. I am definitely looking forward to another visit at the Yankee Clipper!

NnicosamneilThis is place is a good deal for the price! Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean and spacious too. It has a free continental breakfast. The pool is great! Huge enough to enjoy it. Although housekeeping are possibly indians that does not understand English sentences, they do know the basics and would refer to front desk, front desk is helpful. They have a computer with a printer. Settlers green outlet village, applebees and da grill & chill is just really a walking distance from this place. They have 3 different blogs with 3 floors. Very ample car park space. Has some rooms with jacuzzi. Although hallway needs to be vacuumed properly, it is the only offset that I noticed. Please see images below to further.
