We love to stay at this charming hotel whenever we visit Nacogdoches. The rooms are comfortable, the pool area is so relaxing, especially with bar service in the late afternoon, & the restaurants/bar are great. The staff are always friendly & helpful. There is so much to do & see within walking distance. This recent visit, we were escaping Hurricane Beryl & were thrilled the hotel was available for several days while we waited for our power to return in Houston. It was a lovely, unexpected getaway & this place never disappoints. We can’t wait to return

We checked in for a one night stay with our family after hours of traveling on the road. Immediately upon entering the room we noticed that the bathroom had barely been cleaned (if at all). There was urine on the seat and by the toilet. We also noticed there were bugs in the lights behind the beds. On top of that, the AC was out in the building. We immediately decided to check out. I spoke with the gentlemen behind the desk and he informed that there was no manager on duty but someone would call and rectify the situation. I spoke with a manager a few days later and he assured me they would be approving our refund to the third party we booked with. A month later the third party said they did not get the authorization of the refund but that it could take 6-8 weeks for processing. Another month passes and no refund. I called and was told the hotel still had not authorized any refund. I then called the hotel and spoke with a manager who said she would have to check with her General Manager to see what is going on and to call back an hour later. I call back an hour later and she had left, so there was no one to talk to. At this point all I can do is share the frustration and inform any potential customers not to stay here.

This place is a diamond in the rough. We have stayed here once before. The price for what you get is a bargain. Older, not fancy with outdoor access but room was spotless and comfy. The handicap shower head did not spray, more like a fire hose. Only minor complaint. Breakfast bar has the basics but is very sufficient for us. Highway noise could be a factor for light sleepers but not us.

Have stayed here before so we wanted to go back again. The front desk and other staff here are some of the best we have ever met. Clearly a good representative for Hampton Inn. Hallways are wide and bright. The room was very clean and large - we did have the King Suite, however. Breakfast is always iffy at a hotel, but the staff here have done much better than the industry norm. We will be back here again.
