Siamo stati in città per un gioco di calcio Michigan a Ann Arbor. Mi aspettavo una pulita, senza frills esperienza come ho avuto di solito in altri luoghi di Quality Inn. Purtroppo, non era vero. La stanza non era pulita. C'erano spazzatura sul pavimento e nel frigorifero, contenitori di plastica da qualcosa. Il bagno era davvero grosso e aveva un anello di molle nero come se non fosse stato sgrossato in un certo tempo. La giacca del bambino era lasciata nella zona di pendenza. Spero solo che il letto fosse pulito. La donna che ci ha controllati era molto gentile ma dimenticava di restituire il mio ID. Avrei aspettato che provasse a contattare me, ma invece, dovevo chiamare diverse volte dalla strada dopo che siamo partiti. La prima volta, il telefono ha risposto senza risposta, e grazie a Dio l'ho ripreso il giorno dopo.

Abbiamo fatto un ultimo telefono per una stanza e abbiamo parlato con Elaine, e ha salvato l’ultimo letto re. Siamo sorpresi dalla gente e dalla pulizia, soprattutto dal prezzo. Non ha tutte le attrezzature, ma è pulito e amichevole. La gente mattina era così amichevole. Rimaneremmo ancora.

I stayed at this Fairfield for the second time recently and this is a great hotel just if I-94 and next to a few restaurants. I was working at nearby Willow Run Airport and it was not too far a drive. The rooms are nicely kept up in the the current generation of Fairfield styling. They recognized me as a Marriott elite member during both stays with an upgrade to higher room type. My most recent stay was during a snow storm and the hotel did a decent job keeping the parking lot and sidewalks clear

Recently attended a yearly event I go to that has changed its location to this hotel as of 2024. Compared to our previous hotel, I was really impressed. We very much enjoyed the conference spaces and the layout of the hotel. The view is beautiful. There was plenty of space for our event, and all the staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and polite, and overall lovely. Aside from the lack of a pool (it really feels like they need one! lol), the hotel itself is great. I didn't feel bothered by noise on the 2nd floor - and our event did sell out the entire hotel. I heard others complain about paper thin walls, so maybe we just got lucky with our neighbors? But we slept great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I saw some reviews here complain about the location of the hotel, and I have to say we were quite pleased with it. I love not being right next to a noisy busy road like so many hotels. And yet still, right across the street you've got several nice little restaurants, and there is shopping nearby and you aren't far from quite a lot of activity in Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti. The restaurant onsite that offers dinner is really good. We did apps one night and then dinner the next with them. I had soup, salad, and dessert - the soup and dessert were both phenomenal, and the salad also excellent. I found the prices a little steep....but some of the loveliest tomato soup I've ever had, so this is a minor complaint. All that said, there were a couple of areas that I'm hoping will improve in the future, if our event continues to be held here. What wasn't impressive was the breakfast. Despite that our group had been told we would have the options of a special breakfast menu, the only breakfast offered during our stay was the buffet, and it was not good. The kind of hotel breakfast that should be free, because it mostly isn't worth eating, but it cost $21. The oatmeal was incredibly watery, the eggs were flavorless and definitely the powdered kind. Everything seemed a little stale...and tasteless. And the omelette bar wasn't even being manned when I came down to have breakfast. My fingers are crossed that next year they will be offering an actual breakfast menu, outside of the buffet. With what they can do with dinner, I know they could offer an amazing breakfast! The other thing that struck me about the dining, is that our event group was given a special menu - we had the whole hotel for 3 or 4 nights. The items on it were very similar to the items (some the exact same) on the hotels websites menu for the restaurant, but the prices were all much higher. When this was asked about, our group was told that the menu on the hotels website hasn't been updated to reflect price increases....that as I understood went up last year. But here we are the following month and the prices on the website menu still haven't changed..... So I do still find myself wondering if our group wasn't given a special higher priced menu for bringing a large group...? The o
