We stayed at this properly last weekend for one-night to visit family who live nearby. The immediate area around the hotel has several malls and townhome complexes and is just a few blocks from an entrance/exit to Interstate 84. This property appears to be the newest of the three Residence Inns in the greater Hartford area. I was travelling with my wife and mother-in-law so I booked the two bedroom suite for the three of us. The room was available at 3pm and we were assigned a Pure Wellness suite on the second (middle floor) of the North wing. The full kitchen comes with dishes and cutlery for four people and has a two-slice toaster and full-size microwave, along with various pots and pans. Oddly, there is a single service CV1-style coffee maker with two packets of regular and decaf coffee along with a full-size drip coffee maker but no filters or packs for it. We ordered take out food from a nearby Thai place and enjoyed a relaxing dinner in the room. Breakfast was standard waffle station along with eggs, pork sausage, and breads and cereals, along with pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches. The buffet area was a bit crowded but we managed. Seating was ample (hotel was sold out for our night) during breakfast as was parking (I noted there's a small overflow lot across the street from the main entrance). I did note the soundproofing wasn't that great; the banging and thumping of the kids in the suite above us running around was pretty loud and I could hear voices from the room next to our bedroom. It didn't impact our sleep, though. Both bathrooms had shower/tub combos with wall-mounted toiletries. One thing I will note regarding the bathrooms is that while there are grab bars for the tubs, there aren't any around the toilets so if that's a need, book the ADA-compliant version of this suite, if possible. Overall, I was very happy with the quality and comfort of our room and the very friendly and helpful staff and will certainly stay here again.

Il nostro soggiorno è stato molto confortevole, con una posizione pulita e confortevole, l'hotel Fairfield Hartford/Manchester, il nostro check-in è stato veloce ed efficiente, e tutti sono stati molto amichevoli. La nostra camera era spaziosa, confortevole, con un soggiorno con una TV e una camera da letto, e la camera da letto era molto pulita con una doccia grande e asciugamani morbidi. Sapevamo che la piscina era in riparazione, ma quando sarà finita, sarà un bel posto di servizio; il nostro colazione era meraviglioso: uova, carne, cereali, frutta, succhi e altre scelte, molto riempimento. Sebbene l'hotel abbia pagato un piccolo canone per il parcheggio, il nostro canone è stato rinunciato, forse perché siamo membri di Bonvoy. Sicuramente consigliamo questo hotel per un'opzione ragionevolmente prezzi nella zona di Connecticut Hartford.

Un buon posto per noi, pulito e un buon servizio.

I was having a horrible day. The power went out in my home and I needed a place to stay unexpectedly. The hotel was very accommodating. I have a child with a disability and I am always concerned staying outside of my home. The woman at the front (I believe her name is Lindsay, I think she is a manager) ensured I had everything I needed for my boys to have a wonderful stay. She was amazing! My son has autism and gets super anxious at unfamiliar places and she made us feel at home The gentleman at check in was polite and checked us in quickly. He ensured we knew how to get to our room and explained where the amenities were. The room was VERY clean (I am hard to please so it's a shock I'm saying this), the beds and pillows are super comfy, it's updated and spacious. The shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion were luxurious! There were plenty of towels. My boys and I enjoyed the pool which also was very clean and warm. I felt safe staying alone with my two boys...that says alot. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The only reason I put 1 star was because there wasn't a zero star option. My Wife and I stayed 1 night here just to rest our heads for the night, while we were on the way to Maine for work. We had just laid our head down at 3am and all of a sudden there's screaming and human growling and items being thrown coming from the man across the hall from our room. it sounded like appliances being thrown at the door and walls. We were scared, not gonna lie, of the clearly mentally unstable and aggressive person across the hall. We called the front desk from our room to see if the kid working up front could get him to stop or call the police. IT WAS THAT BAD!!! The Kid at the front didn't want to do anything and then stated, ”he is in his room that he paid for, I cant do anything about what he's doing in there.” Even though THEIR MOTEL ROOM WAS BEING DESTROYED!!!! We requested to move rooms if he wasn't going to do anything about it. He changed our room, after he urged that our last room was the very last room available for that night. So we thought it was odd immediately when a room just suddenly became available. So when we wake up today, the same motel is trying to charge my card $500 it was declined. Then another attempt of $400. We called the Motel and said it was a mistake. our room was only $91.99 not $500 and not $400. The Manager then said that we were in the room that got destroyed and I told him that we were in the room across the hall and I have the receipt to prove it. He then started calling My wife ”a F******g B**** and that he's going to get his money for his motel damages because we demolished the room.” I called Corporate to file a claim and dispute, and the associate even saw in their system that the SLIMEY WORKERS at this Motel 6 Changed our room number after we checked out of our room. HE CHANGED OUR ROOM NUMBER TO THE DEMOLISHED ROOM NUMBER AFTER WE CHECKED OUT!!!!!!!!!! So they are in the process of getting it disputed. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! YOU WILL BE SCAMMED. IF YOU DO STAY HERE, MAKE SURE YOU PAY CASH OR ELSE THEY WILL WRONGFULLY CHARGE YOUR CARD IF YOU DO NEED TO STAY HERE. THE POLICE WILL NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE IT IS A ”CIVIL MATTER”

First time staying at a Cambria & LOVED it! This new ish hotel is everything you need if you love a clean, modern & hip hotel! Stayed for one night while working in the area. Honestly, great stay! Things to note: - Hotel is right off major highways which was a plus for travel - located in a ***** mall with many food choices/stores for a traveler - large & well lit parking lot out front Hotel grounds: - beautiful lobby - all the hallways were clean & had a modern style that was neat - staff was friendly at front desk Room: - the room itself was decent sized. The way they laid the room out gives you maximized space which is great! - funky wallpaper & art added to the modern vibe - super clean room! Was spotless & super sanitary! - large bathroom! Beautiful walk in shower with a big flowing show head. It was so nice. So many hotels skimp on bathroom size but not at Cambria! - smart little things like USB power slots (and many of them!) for ease of charging electronics. - coat rack / extra storage shelves etc in the room is helpful - the desk area was well thought out with extra storage nooks/areas. - lounge couch by window with a light facing the TV - they have a nice fridge/microwave in the desk area nook with a nice counter space for your food. - LOVE the hardwood floors (can we end carpeted hotel rooms? So gross) - the room was super quiet & I didn’t hear any of the other guests/near by roads - AC worked great & kept the room cool all night. Only thing to note: - they offer a mobile app but no mobile room keys. Wish they could offer that. You can “check in” on the app but still need an actual room key card from the front desk. For such a modern hotel, you’d expect digital room keys on the app. But no big deal to get stuck on. LOVED my stay here. It was easy right off the highway, clean hotel with a modern vibe. The room itself was also clean, spacious & had so many things that helps a traveler out like the storage nooks, USB slots & beautiful bathroom was a bonus! Will try another Cambria for future travels now! ✨
