Ho scelto questo hotel su un whim basato su recensioni. Costo circa $20 più di comparabili, e sono felice di aver scelto questo posto! Il personale è stato super utile e mi ha trovato una stanza che ha soddisfatto i miei obiettivi. La posizione è molto conveniente e sorprendentemente tranquilla (e sono divertente). Ho pagato 10 dollari in più per ottenere la suite invece dello studio, che vi dà una porta tra la zona di soggiorno e la camera da letto/bagno - davvero bello. Quando ho il fan che corre sul caldo/aria, non sento nulla, e ho dormito molto bene. Il deco è piacevole e luminoso, le cose sono pulite. Mi sorprende che questo abbia una cucina completa studio (meno un forno), ma super comodo. Le opzioni per la colazione calda erano molto buone (uova calde, bacon, waffles, biscotti/gravi) più varietà fredde. Mi sono divertita tanto per restare una notte extra - e sorpresa, il brunch caldo era diverso, e altrettanto buono (due soffitti di uova diverse, corizzo/burritos di patate, waffle). . Hanno un po'di popolare piazza di fuoco (chieda loro sedute in anticipo), e con la stanza giusta si può catturare una bella vista del sole dietro un vasto muro di montagne sull'orizzonte.

La stanza ha un forno, ma non ci sono utensili, potine o niente. Wifi permette solo due gadget per altri si farà pagare. Inoltre, abbiamo dovuto chiedere al desk front per aiutarci a connettersi al wifi. Confusione per entrare.

The check in went well! But didn’t know how noisy this hotel was until it was time to settle in and sleep. The fan in bathroom was so loud it was terrible same switches used the light yup so you know! Then the fridge started making a loud noise. Also you could hear traffic in room. Wish we would have checked out same day. Stayed long thanksgiving weekend. And had to finally try to get housekeeping to come in. On the third day when I called to get housekeeping they said they would have to see if they had time!! Oh you don’t even know. This last part topped off our whole stay! So they have a coat closet and my husband put his shirt and my North-face ski jacket in the closet and we left and forgot them. When we remembered I called right away and some how with both of them in the same place they told me they found the shirt but not the Jacket. Some how I knew they were going to say that!! Very upsetting over all stay! So heads up double think of your stay here!!!

My arrival and check in was apparently a sign of things to come for my week long stay at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 4:15 pm and was told my room wasn’t ready. I asked if there was another king room available and was told no. Since it was a king room I said I would wait, but was then told it’s not available. What do you mean it’s not available? She said it’s”just not”. Ok. then can I get a room away from the interstate and elevator. No problem she said since the hotel doesn’t have an elevator you don’t have to worry about the noise. I get assigned a room on the second floor at the north end of the hotel right next to the interstate- so I turn on the AC to drown out the noise. It’s old, dirty and squeaky. Also with bad knees and luggage. Seriously second floor? No other rooms are available but I can checked back the next day and move rooms. That’s a huge inconvenience. No thank you. This hotel seems like no one’s really cares about it or managing it. The customer service is disappointing, the hallways were never vacuumed during my week long stay, there was no service to the rooms so you have to hunt down a housekeeper for towels and toilet paper or walk down the hallway, flights of steps, down another hallway to the front desk. And good luck trying to find someone there. The front desk staff are seldom attending the front desk, and if a guest needs something they have to yell to the back room to get someone’s attention. The one gal was extremely rude on two different occasions as tho we were a bother to her. I spoke to Sean about this and he said he would add 20,000 points to my Marriott BonVoy account and apologized on her behalf. No points have yet been added. There’s no working elevator, there’s no shuttle or restaurants within walking distance and their bistro has very limited hours so there are no options for meals unless you pay for an Uber or Lyft - which are expensive in the Lakewood area. The hotel is undergoing a renovation, basically they’ve installed new carpet and drapes. I had to switch rooms because of the old, noisy AC unit in my first room, the rooms remain dark with minimal lighting, no upgrade to the bathroom or fixtures except the tile floor. Not the quality or service a guest excepts of a Marriott hotel.

Was pleasantly surprised after reading the hit and miss reviews. Property is an older La Quinta and that shows on the outside and inside with normal wear and tear. Check in and out was a breeze and the staff were great. Breakfast was sparse with only waffles, pre-packaged muffins, coffee and possibly yogurt. Room was spacious, clean and quiet, bed was comfortable. Hotel is a short drive to Red Rocks and there are plenty of shopping and food options within a short drive or walk.
