GGrandTour59335521405Where to begin, first was making a reservation and requesting lowest floor possible as I do not like elevators. Big mistake! You not only get a call before you come saying you have use 3 sets of steps but it’s like you’re in a basement. You have to go outside in the rain to get anywhere. The breakfast was cold and oatmeal was runny. Huge change because it has always been great until this time. We haves always stayed here and it was a top 10 place until now. We loved this placed and would leave 5 to 10 dollars a day for our room cleaning as a tip because they use to put so much effort into it,but not anymore. Smells musty, air conditioning gets either turned off or delayed at night as the room was extremely hot. The window sills had dust and crumbs. Extremely disappointing. We are a couple who have always took care of the room we are in and try to leave it clean and towels off the floor and trash not overflowing to help preserve the room but clearly this is not how people are anymore. The towels even smell musty. Our room keys stopped working the second day and we had to walk outside again and go to the front entrance to get new ones. The best part is there were rooms on the second floor not being used that would have been so much more convenient to the main lobby but we did not get those. Like I said I received a call approximately 1 week before check in to say we would have to use stairs. Shows that no matter how loyal you are to a business or well you take care of it they show none in return. Loyalty goes both ways. Now I see why everyone is using Kitchen Kettle accommodations and leaving Amish View Inn. Perhaps they have sold out to someone else or they just don’t care anymore. Either way it’s very sad.

Great big room, free breakfast (not powered eggs) and the entire place was very clean. Outstanding front desk manager - Tom. What a pleasant young man - fabulous personality, very professional and helpful. It's good to see someone who is happy at his/her job. Tom gave us a list of places where we could eat and directions. A really nice stay.

UUtente ospiteLa nostra famiglia ha prenotato un soggiorno nell'aprile 2023, quindi è stato naturale prenotare questo posto per il nostro viaggio di Aprile 2024. Siamo stati delusi nella condizione della stanza perché entrambe le porte della serratura sono state forse rotte dall'occupante precedente. Le foto raccontano la storia e il desk front. L'altra questione riguarda il rumore in alto nella pista di viaggio di bambini non sorvegliati che vanno o vengono dalla piscina circa le 8:45.

Grande hotel grande trovata. Anche se non può essere un hotel di lusso 5-star è un hotel 5-star. Non ho mai visto un hotel così pulito e così tranquillo. La zona della piscina era riscaldata e pulita con asciugamani, il colazione continentale era un passo sopra. Tutto è rifornito caldo e mantenuto pulito. Anche il caffè 24-hour era davvero caldo tutto il tempo.Abbiamo chiesto servizio in camera precoce perché abbiamo avuto un matrimonio e sono passati. La stanza era molto pulita, e il letto era comodo, e noi chiese di prendere in anticipo le piastrelle e gli asciugamani, e erano sopra. Credo che tutto sia iniziato al check-in con il manager del front office David Pugh, non menziono spesso i nomi, ma lo merita. Era al di sopra di tutto e ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze. Il Comfort Inn è meglio legato a lui. Il personale che abbiamo affrontato era molto carino e professionale, e la posizione non è nemmeno cattiva, ci sono ristoranti vicino a un supermercato e Wawa. E molte attrazioni anche non è lontano da un viaggio per entrare nel cuore di Lancaster. Non esitarei a rimanere qui di nuovo se dovessimo essere nella zona. Grazie Comfort Inn per questo trovare.

We stayed here on our way home from Philadelphia because we wanted to go to Shady Maple Smorgasbord. It was just a few miles away. The front desk staff was very nice & personable. Had an accessible room which had a tub, shower chair, higher toilet, & grab bars all around tub & toilet. Very nice. Bed was comfortable. Their complimentary breakfast was good & very clean & well set up. Good variety & nice size room to eat in. My only complaint was no room with roll in shower which is so much easier with our mobility issues. In talking with front desk I found out there is only one accessible room in this inn of 69 rooms which to me is not acceptable. They r in middle of being bought out & were to have renovations done so it would be nice to have more accessible rooms added. We would definitely stay here again when in the area. No pool or hot tub but it was not deal breaker.

Nnewname2345We just arrived back home from the hotel and although it is a very clean hotel there are a few things that have us saying one and done. This was our first time staying at this hotel we normally stay up the street away from the over pass but we figured why not try this hotel. This has to be the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Not the hotel but the traffic, what I did not know was the over pass was right next to the hotel I thought when others said it was noisy that it was from the road in front of the hotel. Thats not the issue its the tractor trailers running right next door to the hotel over the over pass all night long and during the day I swear as soon as they hit the bridge they had to shift gears to get over it. We were on the 3rd floor and although pot is not legal in pa there was most certainly someone smoking pot. Every day you could smell it. I told the girl at the front desk and she said maintenance was staying on the third floor doing work? Either way it was pretty over powering every day except the day after I said something to the main desk. The beds are a tad hard but after a few days you get used to them. Breakfast, go out for breakfast not much to pick from. Biggest issue is you can not make a left turn out of the parking lot you must go to the right and turn around in walmart if you want to go left and if your going to the outlets they are all to the left. One perk is that there is a walmart if you forget something within 3 minutes of the hotel. The price is more then fair but other then that we go to to lancaster at least once a year this hotel will not be on our list of places to stay.
