Per il nostro viaggio annuale ”casa” a Long Island, ci siamo rimasti in questo bel hotel. Laurie, Jean Ann, Jackie e Pasquale ci hanno accolti di nuovo, come Suzanne. È un piacere trascorrere dieci giorni in un luogo che si sente davvero come ”casa lontana da casa”.

La stanza è molto pulita, l'ambiente è molto buono, il servizio è buono, si raccomanda di soggiornare

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip. I’m a loyal Hilton guest but this was my first time staying at this particular hotel. Staff were super friendly throughout my stay and my room was large, airy and very clean, though the floor of my bathroom was a tad sticky and the lighting in the room is poor unless you turn on all the lights… I slept like a baby on both nights — it was super quiet at night (though you can hear people in their rooms as you walk down the corridors), the bed was suuuuuper comfortable and the room temperature just right! I still remain surprised at the lack of recycling efforts in guest rooms (a downfall of most Hiltons, unfortunately) and I was also surprised at the lack of toiletries provided in the bathroom (see photo).……..and the shower was in a very strange position — you had to squeeze in next to the toilet in order to open the sliding door and turn on the tap, else go fully into the shower from the other end and get wet whilst you turn it on. Very poor engineering! All this aside, my stay was overall a good one — and I’d no doubt stay here again — but there were two things that didn’t fly well with me (two things that may be fine for others!) 1. They have a VERY small gym — small especially for the size of the hotel. When I tried to use it on the first morning of my stay (around 6.15am) it was already “packed” and only one treadmill was working. I ended up leaving as there simply wasn’t any room for another person. There’s also no water or water fountain in the gym (I asked reception about where I could fill my bottle and they said they didn’t have anywhere to do this — so make sure you take a full bottle into the gym with you!), there’s no hand sanitizer, and there were no gym towels on the second morning of my stay. As someone who chooses their hotel based in part on access to a decent fitness center, this was a disappointing part of my stay. 2. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke on the first floor — I’m very grateful I was staying on the 4th floor!

Mentre ero stato a Choice Hotels prima, questa è la mia prima volta in un Rodeway Inn. L'ho scelto sulla base della posizione e del prezzo. Il centro commerciale è stato molto più di un quarto di casa, ma è stato molto pulito. Il personale era amichevole ed efficiente dall'inizio al termine, anche se il personale di ufficio 24 ore vi parla da quello che sembra una prova di proiettile in vetro in zona. Non è un primo look confortevole, poiché la maggior parte delle camere sono al primo piano (la mia stanza era al primo piano) con solo il colpo tra voi e il mondo esterno. La pressione di calore e acqua era grande. Il primo schermo di luce sembrava inadeguato, ma era davvero buono. Ero molto riposato e rinfrescato prima di uscire la mattina prossima. Questo è davvero tutto quello che cercavo. IVA, il quartiere sembrava solo buono. La gente intorno a me era relativamente tranquilla.Non so perché il personale dell'ufficio è così completamente sigillato.

Il parcheggio dell'hotel è gratuito, un gran numero di posti di lavoro, la stanza è anche grande, ci sono sciarpe, tovaglioli, ventilatore, lavaggio della testa, soluzione di lavaggio e acqua di ricarica.Ma la temperatura dell'acqua non è troppo calda, il flusso dell'acqua è molto lento.

Usa l'hotel e il personale in più occasioni molto gentile?

Ovunque su Long Island è sempre una sfida e trovare hotel di buon valore è ancora più difficile. Sono arrivato a questa tranquilla grotta circondata dalla natura alla fine di una guida di New Jersey e al momento di arrivare in una moderna, pulita, ben attrezzata stanza che non volevo lasciare. Ho pensato che l'HI Express fosse una sorta di linea di bilancio, ma non questa, anche se il valore era buono e molto meno del tasso attualmente mostrato su questa pagina. È il posto ben lontano dalla strada in un posto forestale che lo rende un hotel di destinazione, anche se potrebbero fare di più per rendere più praticamente utilizzabile lo spazio naturale. C'è un'ampia zona di prato con sedie, banche, un gazebo ombra, ma molto più spazio che potrebbe essere utilizzato in questo modo. Solo negativi: c'è solo un ristorante cileno vicino. Una 10:00 a sud su 347 vi porterà a un gruppo di buoni ristoranti del centro commerciale (recommandare Umbertos), ma questo è dopo la solita sfida NJ di dover guidare migliaia di miglia in una direzione per arrivare a una turno U che vi permetterà di andare in e, troppo luce ambiente nella stanza di notte, causata in gran parte da una cosa telefonica/orologica che cerca di emulare una luce che non potevo completamente muovere con uno dei gigantici padri, con le luci di tutte le altre elettroniche nella stanza e una luce da bagno (benvenuta) che riflette contro uno specchio nello spazio della sala e direttamente negli occhi (risolto chiudendo completamente la porta del bagno). Due notti qui, e io ero pronto per il corso di corsa di ritorno a NJ e a sud.
