We stayed at LaBanque as a splurge after camping for two weeks, and we were a little disappointed. The pictures look lovely, and it's in a cute part of town in a historic building with quick access to trains to get to downtown Chicago. The two front desk attendees were also lovely. However, the website advertised a ”glass of complimentary bubbly” which seemed great after many hours in the car and after camping. When I asked about the bubbly, I was told to ask the restaurant. When I asked the restaurant, a gentleman seemed kind of agitated and told me to go back to the front desk as ”they had no Prosecco anywhere in the bar and not sure how he could get it.” I returned to the front desk, and the lovely attendant said she would work on it after texting her manager. About an hour later the bubbly arrived at our room. When you pay (with pet fees) $400/night, a simple solution would have been, ”Sorry, we have run out of Prosecco, but what other wine or cocktail can I get you in leu of that?” as opposed to someone clearly running out to buy a bottle and then bringing it to our room while we were already eating. If it is advertised on the website, that would've been a quick resolution for $400/night. In addition, ”pillow top mattresses” were advertised. Our mattress was soft, but it had a large indentation in the center that caused both of us to roll into the middle. I ended up putting a pillow between us to stop the gravitational pull to the central pull. In the morning we grabbed breakfast, but there was not a person in sight. A cold buffet similar to one at a Super 8 was laid out, but there was no water (my husband actually went into the kitchen himself to fill our glasses) and no hot items to choose from. Again, for $400/night some scrambled eggs would have hit the spot. All in all, the interior is lovely and the two front desk attendees were great, but I wouldn't stay here again for $400/night...try someplace else (heck, we've had a better breakfast at a Holiday Inn Express!). We've stayed in more comfortable places for half the money.

I glad to you guys help me always!! The hotel is very cling also is in remodeling but The manager give me another room ….. so I’m so happy and I recommend this hotel to any family.

Il mio soggiorno in questo hotel è stato sorprendente, il personale è stato amichevole Il suo pulito, il suo tranquillo più tutti i ristoranti e gli magazzini che hai bisogno è a 3 minuti di distanza. Lo amo e torno. Il colazione è stato sorprendente anche. Servino HOT BROKFAST. Vale il denaro.

I just want to say that for the first time in my life in August 2023 I was homeless and was feeling very good. But when I walked in this Motel 6 and everyday since I was greeted by a young man named Sekhar. His SMILE has never changed. Warm, Friendly and Encouraging. I was quickly that even though the sun don't always shine it will shine again. Lastly, I have seen him in ACTION calm down some very hustle, nasty mouth people with the best patient customer service I haven't seen in a long time. Motel 6 please do whatever it takes to keep him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, gente.Clarion non è un marchio di lusso.Ma questo Clarion è un bello.Io e mio figlio abbiamo trascorso tre notti in questo hotel.Siamo stati a Chicago per un torneo di pittura.Il parcheggio è appena stato pavimentato, e le luci erano luminose e ben posizionate. Il lobby è ben decorato, e i mobili sembrano nuovi. C'è un ristorante, ma non abbiamo mangiato lì e l'unica cosa che ho sentito di esso è che serveno colazione. Il letto era sorprendente, come hanno detto altri commentatori. La materassi era giusta, le foglie erano morbide e le mutandine erano pulite e pulite, le strutture del bagno erano un po' in basso, ma era pulita. Il manager della notte non vincerà alcun premio di congenitalità, ma il lavoro è stato fatto (eccetto quando il nostro bagno era chiuso e mi ha dato un piatto e mi ha detto di restituirlo una volta che l'avevo fatto). Mia madre, la mia fidanzata e io dovevamo affittare una stanza per un paio di giorni e questo posto era grande. Hannah e Meva erano molto utili e cortesi! avevano grandi personalità. Questo era assolutamente un buon posto per stare. Rimarrò lì ogni volta che sono nella zona.

It was bad enough that Wyndham reservations rep. was rude and tried to charge me $109 instead of the $74 advertised (I ended up calling the Hotel directly,) but this was the most disgusting place I've ever had to stay at! EVERYTHING was patched, worn, torn, broken, wore-out or not working... No breakfast service as advertised, no working vending machines, no Ice, not even cups in the rooms! No hot water in the sinks- and the water barely drizzled out unless you turn it on full blast on cold. The windows had filthy sills and leaked. The toilet seat was broken, there were drops of water in the bottom of the tub, and no plug for the tub or sink. As if THAT weren't bad enough, the room had not been cleaned! I am pretty certain that all they did was change the beds and towels! One thin blanket with a sheet ON TOP of it on the bed, no sheet to cover up with under the blanket. OLD flattened pillows that looked like they had been slept on that had to be staked to use. There was filth on the floors, months worth of dust all over everything, the refrigerator was filthy with someone else's food and ice in it, and someone had exploded something in the microwave- yet it was never cleaned out! We have photos! PLUS they charged the room to my card before we even arrived!! When I saw the sign that said 'no refunds after 15 minutes- no exceptions'' when we walked in- we tried to leave- but there were no other rooms available anywhere nearby on such short notice that we could afford. The ONLY saving grace was the desk clerk, who was very nice, and even came to take photo's of the fridge and microwave to report to housekeeping and so we would not get charged. But no offer of a discount or different room. At least there were no bed bugs, and the beds were clean and comfortable. Plus, it was quiet...probably because no one else chose to stay there! It should be closed...or at least investigated. We expect more from Wyndham.
