We traveled to PA for USA Hockey National tournament. This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. It was very clean and the staff with above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay. They provided board games in the front for us to play in the lobby, always had fresh cookies, didn’t get upset with the us hanging in the lobby socializing, and even held a drawing contest (mostly for the siblings) and gave out prizes!

Back for another great visit at the Red Roof in Greensburg. I was here a couple of months ago, and meant to review it then, but it just slipped through the cracks. I loved my stay then, and absolutely no disappointments on my second go round. It is clean, clean, clean! The beds are comfy, and because it is up on the hill off Route 30, it is quiet, The front desk staff are uniformly terrific; Stefanie when I was here in October, and Alyssa on this visit are super friendly, and very good at their job. The rooms are a little on the small side, but they have everything you need for a terrific day, and the price is certainly very tasty (especially with no pet fee). Just a note: I travel a lot, 20+ weekends a year— 100+ nights at hotels. It’s a Red Roof, not a four-star property, but it’s a genuine winner… and one of the RRs I have stayed in. NOTE: This hotel has absolutely the best in room refrigerators I’ve had at a non-suite hotel. It is a good size small refrigerator that has a separate freezer…not a little dinky space inside the refrigerator.

Ho preso mia nipote qui per una notte di riposo, relax e divertente, e il personale era eccezionalmente amichevole e utile. L'hotel era molto pulito, si sentiva molto sicuro, era tranquillo ... molte piccole tocche come dare a ciascuno un sacchetto con acqua e chips quando siamo entrati. I letti erano molto comodi. Ci era una bella piscina all'interno. C'era un buon colazione incluso - tonnellate di scelte! Veramente, davvero buon soggiorno.

Siamo rimasti in questa posizione Marriot perché faceva parte di un luogo di matrimonio raccomandato. Lo scelsi per la piscina ”caldata” all'interno. Mi nuoto ogni giorno. Il primo giorno, dopo un'ora non mi sono mai riscaldato e i miei dita erano incazzate quando finalmente mi sono arreso e sono uscito. Abbiamo detto qualcosa al personale del servizio frontale e hanno detto che avrebbero parlato con il personale di manutenzione. La seconda mattina non era così fredda, ma non molto. Ho parlato con l'uomo di manutenzione e mi ha detto che la piscina poteva essere riscaldata solo a 82* o che ci sarebbero problemi con i batteri in L'acqua. Questo è assolutamente ridicolo! Mi sono nuotato in palestra EOS a Tampa, dove ci sono classi aerobiche d'acqua e il tempo della piscina è di routine sopra 86 -88*, la nostra piscina di giardino è 89 - 90* questa volta dell'anno e non abbiamo problemi batterici! Se si vuole promuovere il vostro hotel come avere una piscina all'interno, 82* non è abbastanza caldo per chiunque altro che un grave nuotatore - che avrebbe bisogno di una piscina molto più lunga di quella in questo luogo - per poter generare abbastanza calore per rimanere caldo! La scorsa notte eravamo li', ho fatto un giro con una donna e suo figlio che erano nella piscina e mi ha detto che era congelato! Vuoi solo avere la piscina come punto di prenotazione, o vuoi davvero che i tuoi ospiti possano usarla e goderla? in futuro, dubitando di prenotare un soggiorno in un Marriott sulla base di questa esperienza, perché mi fido delle mie nuote per il mio allenamento quotidiano, la felicità e la salute. Temevo di nuotare in questo luogo durante il mio soggiorno, non era né piacevole né invito.

I have been coming to the hotel for about 20 years when I am in the area for a local dog show. It has always been wonderful. I made my reservation well in advance, only to get there and find out there were no ground floor rooms. I cannot do stairs. I had on my reservation MUST have a ground floor. Another lady was checking in at the same time, also requested a ground floor room. We were told that a party had checked in for five days. They did find a room for me on the ground floor, but the other lady had to go upstairs. Breakfast is no long available. Glad I brought juice to take my meds with. There was some kind of gathering with cooking out. There were bones and garbage all over. It made it very difficult to walk my dogs in and out of the hotel with all the garbage. The room was wonderful. I had booked with reward points but they did not get used. Need to check on that. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was. After about 20 years of staying there multiple times a year, this is the worse. It seems to be going down. Rooms have been renovated nicely but the service was horrible. I might try it once more but be aware they might not honor a reservation.
