Please read - bed bugs! We stayed one night and woke up with bites from bed bugs on my kids and me. The manager apologized and said he was calling Orkin. Cool ...stuff happens. I'm a pretty understanding person. We had to bring ALL of our clothes to a laundry service (over $100 worth of laundry). Then had to purchase rubbing alcohol, laundry bags, etc to prevent bringing them home. They comped the one night..but I was a little irritated because I spent more on rectifying the issue and it was a huge inconvenience. I had to go back to fort Lauderdale the next weekend so the manager said he would ”take care of me” if I went back. I figured I'd give it a chance. They discounted my rate to $80 per night. I asked the manager what would happen if they got into my house, because it's expensive to treat and I didnt think I should have to pay out of pocket for THEIR inconvenience. The manager said he would have to ”confirm” with orkin that the infestation was in fact bed bugs, then we would have to go from there. When I got home, I put all of my bags into my bathroom and continued spraying and treating them. Of course, I found bed bugs outside of the bags the next morning. I emailed the manager immediately and included pictures. The bed bug treatment started at $500. I had to have my pest control company come out twice for treatments. The manager email me back and said that orkin confirmed they had an infestation of bed bugs. When I arrive back at the property the next weekend, he said that they wouldn't be doing anything further to reimburse me for the money I had to spend. Then, I went to give my 5 year old a bath and couldn't get the tub to drain....i thought maybe it was clogged. I looked in the drain and it was straight out of a horror movie . So much hair and trash clogged in the drain. I was disgusted that I actually put my kid in that bathtub. I asked the front desk for them to send housekeeping up to clean it while we were out of the room.... When I went back to the room that evening it was still clogged with hair and trash hanging out of the drain. I ended up cleaning most of it myself. I ended up calling corporate Marriott, as I am a rewards member and I figured that they would be able to help me. Corporate said that they would open an investigate and call me back within 7 business days. This was the end of June and I have heard nothing back. Moral of the story, I ended up spending over $700 to correct their bed bug infestation. And seem to not care. We were there for AAU basketball for my son. It's a shame because we love Marriott but this is a huge turn off. Choice hotels seems to have better customer service and no bugs so we will be staying with them more often.

This charming, off-the-beaten-path Marriott offers a quiet and secluded location. While the rooms are spacious, they could benefit from additional lighting, especially on sides with limited natural light. However, the service truly shines at this Marriott. Edgardo at the front desk was incredibly kind, efficient, and professional. He even acknowledged my Bonvoy Platinum loyalty status. The MClub was well-equipped with the usual breakfast offerings. While the cappuccino machine was out of service during our stay, the 24/7 weekday access to beverages and snacks was a welcome perk. The highlight of our stay was the phenomenal weekend breakfast at the full-service restaurant. Hanane's omelet-making skills were truly impressive, crafting the most delicious omelet I've ever had. John and Mario were also exceptional during breakfast service. Overall, the dedicated staff is what elevates this older Marriott. However, the $12 nightly parking fee felt excessive, especially considering it's an open lot without apparent security patrols. I recommend finding alternative parking nearby to avoid this unnecessary expense. Additionally, the lack of valet and bell service makes the parking fee even harder to justify.

We stayed here while attending the 2024 LATAM Cup at the Florida Panthers Ice Den. The hotel is older but comfortable and the rooms spacious. Service was much improved from our last stay! The lady who worked the overnight shifts was amazing and the breakfast staff also phenomenal! Rooms were spacious and clean! The only downfall with our stay was the elevator being broken. With all the hockey gear we were hauling around it made it hard for us to move the large wheeled bags up and down the stairs. We would recommend this hotel, and will likely continue to return every year. P.S. Breakfast was great and plentiful.

房間很乾凈，衹是配套沒有那麼好。洗髮水沐浴液之類的都需要自己準備。最差的就是吹風機。看到裏面的電絲都是紅的，還有一股糊的味道。早餐還可以。填飽肚子沒有問題。

Nuovo hotel. Room non era grande ma comodo, buon letto, cortina nera e doccia con porte di vetro! Bella microonde e caffè. Dimensione inferiore: nessuna cassaforte in camera! Anzi tutto la camera ( sul pavimento). Scegli camere più alte! Un hotel molto bello.

E' così raro avere una così incredibile esperienza di servizio clienti e anche una fantastica esperienza di hotel. Il signore che mi ha controllato mi ha aiutato con le direzioni sul telefono. Quando finalmente sono arrivato, era così gentile e piacevole. Sono stato in macchina per diverse ore e i miei GPS mi hanno portato in un complesso di appartamenti vicino, ero frustrato e in città per affari. Mi ha ringraziato gentilmente per essere un membro di elite, mi sono riduto perché sono stato ridotto questo anno in stato. Beh, ha ancora migliorato la mia stanza e ha svolto il tappeto rosso. C'era un altro signore che mi ha salutato a piedi e mi ha offerto dei dolci freschi/popcorn. Sono le piccole cose che fanno una grande differenza! Quando sono arrivato in camera mia, era tutto quello che mi piaceva di Residence Inn con la sala bonus migliorata. Mi ha solo fatto sentire speciale e importante, un piccolo gesto, ma uno che ha fatto una grande differenza. Ha anche chiamato la stanza per assicurarsi che tutto fosse perfetto. Avevo una visita a Ft. Lauderdale per il lavoro e sarò assolutamente in questo hotel! Ho preso solo una foto dalla porta ma vorrei prendere di più. La stanza era fantastica.

Our experience was great from the time we walked in until we left. Nick was the young man at the counter and he was so nice and polite. Due to construction the stairs were not available. Due to a mechanical issue in an elevator years ago I have a phobia of riding them alone. Nick was so sweet and offered to ride it with me and he talked to me the whole time keeping my mind busy. This is called going above and beyond. Super nice young man and I can see him going far in this business. The breakfast was great. The rooms were clean and welcoming. The location was perfect within minutes of places we wanted to go. Will definitely go back and would highly recommend.

The property is very clean. I enjoyed the nostalgia of breakfast at a hotel. That was a plus. The front desk team need to do evaluations tbh. Dellie at the front desk was so nice and polite she even gave us suggestions on where to eat but the other young girl whoaaa didn’t seem to want to be there. I’m front the Caribbean and work as a manager in hospitality and her attitude wouldn’t have worked where I’m from. Over all I’ll come back here or recommend especially because it’s close to sawgrass.
