Very comfortable accommodation near the Metro into DC. Amazing staff! On the 2nd night of our stay (during graduation season) there was a very noisy gathering of 15-20 teenagers in the hallway just outside our room. The front desk was called and hotel security came right up and disbursed the crowd immediately--a restful night was enjoyed by all! This property has a pay to park garage $12/day, but because we are Choice Hotel Gold members, the fee was waived.

Stayed for three nights during a conference. The ”cozy” room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Everything worked, but it was quite small -- cozy for one person, but crowded for two. It . Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant fare was ok but not memorable; the menu is limited, and it's the same for lunch and dinner. The most memorable thing about the hotel is the artwork in the hallways and galleries on the conference side. They were not just the same-old-same-old pieces ordered by the dozen by a corporate office, but rather one-of-kind, curated works from the U. Maryland holdings. It's worth taking some time to wander and view everything from 500+ year old Chinese scrolls to 1950's photography from the American South. It would be nice if, like a museum, the hotel had a guide to the art collection.

This was a comfortable clean place to stay and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. This offset some of the downsides, particularly parking issues. The lot was full our first night, but an upper lot belonging to the University is ok to park in on weekends, as staff confirmed. The lot had plenty of spaces the next night. Our last night (upper lot NOT ok) there were 2 spaces but in such a tight spot we couldn't maneuver our long van into them next to other long vans with a retaining wall close by. Staff allowed us to park in a handicap parking spot since nothing else was available to fit. Good walkable location to many restaurants and some of the University. We were worried it might be too loud (room facing main road) but with the AC fan running on low it was fine. Please fix the pancake maker!

Questo hotel, anche se convenientemente situato, è su una strada molto, molto, molto occupata. Molto vicino all'Università, e molti luoghi divertenti da mangiare e appendere, ma viene al costo di essere in una zona sempre così leggermente “scura”. Una volta all'interno dell'hotel, si dimentica tutto, e il personale fa un ottimo lavoro per farti sentire benvenuto e questa proprietà anziana. Concordo con alcuni altri revisori che si trova convenientemente sulla linea verde, ma non siamo stati preparati per tutte le tariffe associate al parcheggio e alla guida a Washington, e vorremmo che avessimo riservato un parcheggio in città e solo guidato.

Ho prenotato per mio marito mentre lavora in zona. Hotel migliore di altri in cui ha soggiornato, ma non è niente di eccezionale. Il che va benissimo per quello per cui ne avevamo bisogno.

I have never stayed in a hotel with such incredibly friendly and helpful staff. From the moment we called to see about availability to our departing we were greeted with lovely individuals who worked hard, made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. I was recuperating from surgery and they provided assistance bringing my luggage to my room, getting extra pillows, etc. The room and hotel was clean and very comfortable. We extended our stay an extra day based in part on the friendliness of the staff. I am grateful and touched by the level of service we received.

Letto Bug Bites in tutto il mio braccio e collo! Ho soggiornato qui molte volte negli anni e sempre mi è piaciuto questo posto. E 'in una grande posizione per il mio lavoro e il personale è sempre stato grande. Ma la settimana scorsa sono rimasto lì 2 notti e mi sono svegliato con letto bug bits. You know how an excellent staff can make even an overnight in a roadside motel a fine experience, while a bad staff can ruin a high end expensive hotel splurge? Well that's the story here. Our family booked 2 rooms here for several nights to attend an event at University of Maryland. It's very convenient to UofM as well as Washington DC. 1 mile to the Green line Metro station. I spoke to several people before booking and arrival in sales and front desk. All were helpful and kind. From sales to the pool attendant all were friendly and helpful. At check in, Ashley and Mike went above and beyond to get us settled into proper rooms. Mike switched one room with a funky door lock but kept us together, helped move furniture and brought us an extra chair. Angie helped me extend one room when we were too tired to go. Best front desk staff over many trips. We had breakfast as early as 6:45 and late as 8:45. Mr. Damian kept the food stocked, hot or cold as appropriate, tables bussed and clean. But more than that, one of us has a food allergy and Damian took it seriously, read ingredient labels to make sure there were appropriate choices and that we know about them. He is an exemplary employee and lovely guy. As I'm writing this, front desk called to ask if I left an item in the dining room. I did, but hadn't even discovered it yet. Mr. Damian ran it up to me. There are a few minor issues in the room, but the bed was great, furniture fine and TV, while basic, was huge with good picture and sound. Cable and Wifi worked fine. Pull out couch better for a kid than an adult. We actually liked the roomy layout of the larger suite more than the one bedroom. One minor complaint. We didn't use housekeeping during our stay other than getting supplies from friendly housekeepers, but the rooms were not as clean upon arrival as one could hope. I wound up using paper towels to clean the tile floors in kitchen and bath area. That said, we will definitely come back here when visiting DC and hope Marriott takes note of the outstanding staff at the Residence Inn Greenbelt. Btw, we really liked Greenbelt itself. Every single person we encountered in restaurants and stores was helpful and friendly. Made the week very pleasant.
