La posizione è eccellente se si va al Lago Mead. Dicono che il personale è breve, quindi le camere non saranno pulite a meno che non chiedi - e se “puoi arrivare a questo”. Come ho detto, restiamo qui solo perché è letteralmente 5 minuti a Las Vegas Boat Harbor. Non molte opzioni di ristorante, ma Boulder City è sulla strada con una bella piccola città.

We have stayed in this hotel before and we found the experience excellent. This time is no different. The Hotel is set back in time and everything about this Hotel is excellent. Spacious reception area where you can relax in leather loungers and seats.Free coffee in the morning and evening. Even the elevator reminds us of the Twilight Zone. The Elevator is excellently positioned at the rear of the hotel right next to the rear parking area so no more that a few feet from car to elevator and up to your rooms with your luggage. Also a free museum to guests on its own floor. We stayed twice there this time the first at the start of a road trip and the second time the end of the road trip. The rooms are excellent and the Air Conditioner is one of the best we have come across as it drops cool air from above not from the wall as most units are set up. We had no towels on the second day upon our return but once we told reception this was sorted immediately. The only change from our previous visit was no longer was there any free breakfast. The previous stays the breakfast was not only free but excellent. This time it seemed to be run by different people. Maybe the hotel will revert it back to what it once was. Time will tell. The question is will I stay at this hotel again....Yes without any hesitation its a little Gem.

The two stars are for the staff… Both the people we encountered at the front desk as well as housekeeping were professional and friendly. Unfortunately they work for an owner and an organization that does not give them the tools they need for their job. The room was not clean… And I don’t mean the sheets, countertops or the basics that a housekeeper can do…but marred walls, dirty carpet, draperies broken and falling off the rack, scuffed paint, moldy showerhead clogged with minerals and a tub mat that desperately needs to be replaced. The sheets and towels were clean although there were only two towels in the room for a two guest, two night stay and they are extremely thin and old. To give you an idea of how much management cares for their facility, the signage throughout was broken, the landscaping rocks were extending onto the street sidewalks were not maintained making it dangerous to walk around the property, their breakfast area is being used for storage, and doorways, walls, and general areas were filthy. We had specifically asked about outdoor pool availability and I’m sure through no fault of staff, there was a problem with the pool. During check-in we were told that it would be open the following day… this we made the decision to stay. It was repaired and filled however in spite of assurances it would be available the day after check-in, staff would not allow us in the pool area and I was told that management would not allow me to even take a plastic chaise lounge and put it on the patio adjacent to the pool area outside the fence to enjoy the sun. This was not a theft risk or general liability issue…. it was simply doing as little as possible to accommodate a guest. This facility is still serving paper bag breakfasts and we were told that they would no longer be serving their hot breakfast as they are hoping to open the restaurant adjacent to the property. That would not be quite so laughable if the actual property had been maintained at all but clearly they can’t afford or unwilling to do the basics to keep up a building much less open something new. There are some darling motels in Boulder City and I highly encourage you to stay anywhere but here. I’ve just put in my second contact to corporate however I have not received a response from either management when we placed our first challenge nor the corporate office.

We stayed at the Best Western Hoover Dam for 1 night on our way from Yosemite National Park to The Grand Canyon. The front desk attendant was friendly, efficient, and very helpful. The hotel is an old school design with exterior entrance to the rooms. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Room décor and furnishings were dark and dingy. Water pressure in the shower was low making hair washing a lengthy process. The hotel appeared to be in the process of doing some upgrades. Grounds and common areas were clean. Typical free hotel breakfast buffet. The breakfast room was large and bright. ADA My husband is a full-time wheelchair user. He is able to take care of his personal needs when in an environment that is wheelchair accessible. We have been traveling together for over 40 years. My comments on accessibility are for information only in hopes that it may be of help to others. A grab bar was mounted on the floor by the toilet. It would also be helpful to have a grab bar mounted on the wall. The bed height was too low, making transfers in and out of bed difficult. Shower chair was provided by the hotel.

Our flight was rerouted and thus, we ended up having to scramble around for lodging after we land. Chanced upon this property and on check-in, was pleasantly surprised with hotel and room condition. Would recommend if you are in the area as there is also Nevada’s oldest ****** just beside this property, which is quite charming as well.

La pulizia e la cura erano buone, ma la posizione era molto lontana da ogni parte con il trasporto pubblico. Ci vuole circa 2 ore con l'autobus. Inoltre non abbiamo trovato nulla intorno all'hotel per cena. Ci sono solo alcuni ristoranti alberghiere e sbarro. Era come un villaggio. ****** area era davvero buona, pulita e divertente. Ci sono molte macchine.
