The main hotel part is a little nicer, but not much. they don't tell you that you're going into the hotel motel rooms that look like a budget hotel like sucky. We checked in on August 30 and I made the reservations January 8 so there's no reason why we could've been in the nicer part of the hotel other people in the wedding or the same wedding we were going to was actually all in that hotel and I'm sure they didn't make their reservations, January Window air conditioning, the sink has a crack in it, bathroom floor are dirty, the furniture is old and carpet is beat up stain and ripping, air conditioning black, moldy, filthy AC filter, the girls sitting at the desk at the pool nothing to do. She's playing games, but yet the bathrooms at the pool have cobwebs and are filthy. The floors are disgusting. Went to the lobby 9:30 AM for coffee is ice cold every time I go there no matter what time I went at 7:30 AM and cold coffee Dale bagels. Promise you cookies at the front desk but every time I go to Ed no matter what time it is there's no cookies you have a lot of guest, but there's never any cookies. I'd say most of the brick on the walkway needs to be reset because it's sunk in and wavy sometimes as holes you can trip and twist your ankle same goes for the parking lot. There's a lot of huge long holes. Unfortunately, I have to give them one star, but it's not even worth the one star.

The floor in the kitchen wasn't exactly clean... maybe cleanish, but not clean. The TV in the bedroom did not work. The last night, I woke up with blood on my neck and a dark spot above it. I discovered that it was a spider. Twenty minutes later, I saw a pretty good-sized spider in the bathroom that I had to kill with my shoe. You might have a spider problem at the hotel. The staff was pleasant; to be fair, I did not tell them about any problems. It's a nice place to stay and very convenient for the medical treatments I was having.

I recently stayed at the 1820 House Inn for two nights, and while the historic charm of the inn is undeniable, my overall experience was less than satisfactory due to the condition of my room. I grew up in Simsbury and I was pleased to see the historic character of the inn preserved. The bed in my room was comfortable, and parts of the inn were quite nice. I appreciated the continental breakfast and newspaper each morning. However, the state of my room left much to be desired. As the photos I took show, the room had significant deferred maintenance and cleanliness issues. The window shades were damaged and poorly repaired with tape. The windows themselves were in poor condition, with peeling paint and noticeable dirt around the frames. Additionally, there was a buildup of dirt and dust that had clearly been overlooked for some time. The state of the bathroom was also concerning, with visible grime and stains that made me question the overall cleanliness of the room. While I understand that the building is historic, it is no excuse for the lack of basic cleanliness and upkeep. I expected more from a property with such a reputation, especially given the price of the stay. In summary, while the 1820 House has its charms, the lack of attention to detail in maintaining the rooms is disappointing. I hope the management addresses these issues soon, as the inn has the potential to be a truly wonderful place to stay with just a bit more care and effort.

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming inn! The front desk staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the antique furniture and bathroom were nice. The included continental breakfast wasn't as good as fresh hot breakfast, but there was a good variety and it was nice to sit on the huge covered porch overlooking town as we ate. We also took advantage of the Adirondack chairs on the lawn for a late afternoon rest before dinner. Unfortunately, we were there midweek, so we missed out on the Soma Grille.

Excellent hotel, unique experience there, great room. Overall I would say it’s the best hotel in Hartford

Il Hampton Inn di Farmington è bellissimo.È pulito, il personale è amichevole, ci siamo sentiti al sicuro durante il nostro soggiorno, ben accennato parcheggio, diverse opzioni per colazione, anche se avrei voluto vedere latte non lattiero-caseario per caffè/tea/cereale. Kudos a Jay al di fuori del desk, è professionale, amichevole e cortese. Grazie per il soggiorno sicuro.

We had an error on our reservation that was our fault...mistakes happen. When we realized our error, I called the general manager and she was so helpful in putting everything right for us. She really went out of her way to put the customer experience first and made sure that we enjoyed our time in the Hartford area. Great job and thank you to everyone at the Courtyard Hartford Farmington!

I have stayed here several times over the last few years and 3rd to 7th October 2023 I had 2 different rooms. Both were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, spacious (especially room 314 that is bigger than many one bed apartments) The front desk staff are welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Seriously lots of places could learn a lot from these guys and girls. The kitchens in the room are handy and there is ample storage. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom is provided with plenty of towels, face cloths and toiletries. I can only think of one way to improve the place and it would cost very little. It would be better if there were some outside seats, benches or picnic tables. There is loads of land around the hotel and this would be a welcome addition. Thanks
