We were moved from the heritage hotel for ASQ to this hotel, no explanation or reasons given. This hotel is okay, the food is alright, but the WiFi?? The worst WiFi in the world! No exaggeration, having to spend my ASQ here with this WiFi is torture :(. I’m unable to do any work or even enjoy my free time keeping busy, because the WiFi is absolutely terrible, they need to do something about it.

The Lotus is a fantastic place to stay, and an absolutely gorgeous hotel, with an old school, wood clad interior. One can tell that it had some golden years, prior to COVID.Speaking to staff, local cab drivers and locals, they all speak of the Lotus in its greatness, and are saddened to talk about how COVID affected it. It is connected to a shopping center that is now abandoned. The court yard in the center still carries a sense of the Lotus's potential. Having said that, I'll say that the remaining staff do their very best to carry the weight of the big hotel, and sometimes struggle - but with a smile. The pool is absolutely one of its finest features, and is massive and beautiful. I read a review that there was no bar, or drinks available. That has since changed, as they provide beer at the pool and lobby, as well as a bar that is open most of the day. Excellent place to camp out in Chiang Mai!

I will be totally honest here. My 2nd visit as I needed to be close to BKK airport. The hotel is brand new. Very clean, great rooms, nice showers, amazing beds, and pillows. If you don't need anything you will be fine. If you need to order, have any questions, Food delivery, grocery delivery, or anything g related that needs speaking English, you're in trouble So positives, very clean, brand new and close to the airport. Also the pool looked great. The issues: Huge teething issues No staff training or even the right staff. 90% of visitors are foreign as you would imagine. Noone speaks any English. No Google translate. Checking is painful, checkout even more painful. If you call from the room its impossible. Now I'm no diva, just calling reception to ask for our luggage or if grab delivery has arrived. Mission impossible. No AC around hotel. So it really humid. AC in rooms left off so takes 1 hour to cool. Unbelievably hot. I landed at midnight so arrived at 1am. My booking on Agoda was confirmed for my days but they had wrong days. So I had to pay again. Just don't need this afte travel. So after checking in at 1am I left at 13:00 the next day. Instead if telling me or calling when I checked out they chatged me the full rate whole day for 1 hour. To me that's pretty bad in a hotel that's empty, brand new and looking at customer happiness. So all the rest you can live with it's OK. The last part on check out for me was u real. This is a guy who is President for the 3rd largest hotel group in the world. Poor standards in my opinion. You just don't do that without notice or confirmation. So just be aware. A comfortable stay for sure. But has its issues on customer service. Its just not there. I'm sure the staff have never worked in a hotel or hospitality before. Maybe a recruiting competency is hospitality exposure and speak some English

Hotel ben arredato con un'atmosfera rilassante da resort. Vicino all'aeroporto per i viaggiatori mattinieri. Devo dire che è carino e accogliente per la stanza. Era molto confortevole. Solo un lato negativo è l'atteggiamento del personale della hall della reception principale, forse può essere migliore. La chiave non funzionava e non è stata modificata dopo il nostro reclamo, hanno semplicemente lasciato da parte la questione. Soprattutto anche i servizi di ritiro sono stati così lunghi. A parte questo, va tutto bene e penso che molto probabilmente ci tornerò di nuovo. E si spera che anche l'atteggiamento del personale sia stato migliorato.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Aurora Suavarnabhumi Hotel. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. They always helped us get taxis, made sure we had everything we needed, etc. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Overall it was a great place to stay.
