Oggi torna da un fantastico 10 giorni in questo hotel, sentito dal giorno in cui avete il contatto personale, il signore al colazione era bellissimo e gentile offrendo consigli sull'hotel e ci ha resi molto benvenuti ogni mattina. La stanza che avevamo era fantastico balcone molto pulito letto e la decorazione dell'hotel era ricco con le sue biciclette e i suoi oggetti nostalgici, dimostra che a volte gli hotel più piccoli tentano più duro che si è certamente fatto qui. La posizione è solo un Uber ride al costo della marina e media di 5.00 euro più si può raggiungere la maggior parte delle località da questo hotel. We have just returned from our stay in the apartments. As annual visitors I’m sorry to say this will be our last time in the Hilton as it no longer warrants a 5 star rating. 1) the apartments have become very dated and tired looking. Room 217 was just tired everywhere.. the bathroom door frames all boast with water damage, generally tired furniture and lots of tiles which are loose that every time you walk on them there is almost a crack! We also had ants and cockroaches in the apartment which is the first time ever we had seen this! Also in the bedroom the tv was unwatchable as it was all lines and clearly no longer functional 2) the cleanliness has definitely dropped.. rubbish lying on our corridor floor which remained for the week. Also when clearing the apartment on the last day we found someone else’s dirty sock under the bed 3) the apartments pool the jets no longer work and there is unsightly scum round the tiles… also the sun beds padding is dirty 4) the main Hilton pool also looking really tired with the rocks paint all peeling off 5) the toilets at the apartment pool are awful.. the floor is so dirty and on the last day we went to shower here in the ladies room to discover the shower head was snapped off and the cold tap unable to turn so no ability to shower the children in scalding temperature 6) some of the pool towels are only fit for the bin! 7) we went to the hotel bar one evening as it was the option for food(Tuesday) .. on sitting down I was told there was no children’s menu available? How in a family hotel can there be no children’s options? I had to buy the children an 18 euro burger and ask for it totally plain.. totally overpriced and not acceptable to not cater for children here 8) we were tortured with mosquito bites at the pool.. again never had this in all my years of coming here.. perhaps it’s a bad year but not pleasant All in all I have just found the whole resort has went downhill.. it no longer warrants to be called a 5 star and I don’t feel good value for money was here sadly!

Abbiamo goduto un soggiorno meraviglioso qui. Il personale era molto accogliente e amichevole e l'intero resort era molto pulito e presentabile. Il nostro appartamento 2-bedroom è stato uno dei posti migliori che abbia mai soggiornato. Era senza spot pulito e molto ben mantenuto. I puliziari visitarono ogni giorno, i letti erano molto confortevoli con lenzuola fresca e cuscini confortevoli, le bagni erano pulite senza sporco, e i bagni erano molto benvenuti. La cucina era eccellente; abbiamo scelto di passare la sera nell'appartamento e siamo riusciti a preparare dei pasti deliziosi grazie a tutto il materiale della cucina. Quando abbiamo visitato a metà marzo, non abbiamo nuotato nella piscina all’aperto, ma abbiamo usato felicemente i letti solari intorno a essa. Siamo stati davvero presi con la zona, le spiagge, la cucina e i locali amici e speriamo di tornare un giorno.

Our 6th amazing stay at the JZS and wont be our last! We had a 9 night stay over the May half term. This hotel has a way of making you feel special from the moment you arrive at the front door. The staff are without a doubt a real credit to the hotel and make leaving so much harder. Special mention to the following employees: Ajay, Sunhil, Frank and Churro-Joseph (apologies for any misspelling) - front entrance. William - reception team. Hassan, Divesh, Jude, Prashant, Favia and Lalit - Imperium restaurant. Abdullah (beach supervisor) and Santosh - as part of the beach team. Yasiru and Jouliano - Al Nafoorah restaurant. The hotel is always spotless and smells divine (still sad I can no longer purchase the reed diffusers that smelled of the hotel to bring home). I know there are a lot of 5 star hotels in Dubai but I dont think you can beat a Jumeirah hotel. The JZS is a little quieter than the others because perhaps its on the palm but we prefer that. Being able to use the other hotels as part of the half board package (Jumeriah Flavours), which we did (Shimmers now being the absolute fav) gives you the best of all worlds. They have now reintroduced the shuttle bus service which runs during the day and mid evening to the other Jumeirah hotels and Mall of the Emirates. The spa is also a must do if you get a chance! Definitely the best one we have ever been to. I do have to point out the one (small) issue we had which was housekeeping - despite there being 3 adults in the room, they only seemed to leave 2 of everything (glasses and towels for example) even though we made a point (on more than 1 occasion, there were 3 of us). I did have to raise this a few days in a row as it appeared to fall on deaf ears - however, they got there in the end! Now off to book next years trip back to the JZS......

We travelled as a family of 3 for a weeks holiday. The Vilamoura Garden Hotel was fantastic. The hotel was clean, modern and quiet. Reception staff were helpful with excellent English. There is a ramp up the handful of stairs to the lift from reception. No problem for us, but this is actually quite steep for wheelchair users and they may require assistance. Our room was 114 (garden view) with a separate lounge area made into a sofa bed for our son. The bedroom was large with a free electronic safe. This was a nice surprise as we're used to being charged for the safe! There was also a free bottle of water, tea/coffee facilities and a fridge. AC was great and could be set separately in the bedroom & lounge areas. Each area had a balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Some TV channels were in English including sports and movies. The bathroom wasn't huge, but it was clean and modern and the rainfall shower over the bath was lovely. The room was cleaned and towels changed daily. There are also robes under the sink. The pool is fairly small but our son still had plenty of fun splashing round in it. We never had a problem getting a sunbed. Towels are free from reception. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of options. There's sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, mushroom, toast, cheese, meats, yoghurts, pastries & cakes, tea, coffee, OJ, water etc. Plenty of choice for our fussy 10 year old. Pedro was an absolute ray of sunshine welcoming us to breakfast every morning; so friendly and helpful. We also ate there for dinner once. The food, wine and service were good and prices in line with the marina area. The hotel is a 25 min walk to the marina. The Hilton next door has a shuttle bus that Vilamoura Garden guests can use which runs morning and evening. We took this to the beach and to/from the marina a couple of times. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the smaller boutique feel of the hotel and the excellent standard of service. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to the area.

Please be aware Jet2 called this Hotel ”Villamoura Golf apartments” this will cause you issues with local taxi, as they dont know it by that name - hope that helps Big spacious 1 bedroom apartment, clean with large bathroom, small kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle Would like to sleep on the sofa bed was very hard (not that we needed to just making anyone who needs all 4 beds aware) Good air con Great staff, really amenable, helpful and pleasant 8 Euro for a taxi to the harbour as of June 2024, the hotel does lay on a free shuttle bus 3 times a day
