This hotel has a really modern vibe which makes it contrast from the old city. I stayed as part of a tour group. The hotel is located near the river and within walking distance to restaurants. There were three issues with my room. The air conditioning controls did not allow you to change the temperature. The up-and-down arrows did nothing. Other members of my group had the same issue. It was too cold. If you left it on - it was very cold. I had to completely turn it off and so did others in my tour group. Also, my TV remote did not work. And lastly my safe would not work (no lights came on when buttons pressed). There was a very good hairdryer, and a make up mirror. Nice towels. The bed was comfy. The view was just of another building but it was quiet and I slept well. The room was clean. There was a refrigerator and coffeemaker in the room. I couldn’t find an indoor stairwell, so I always had to take the elevator. There is a small gym with weights and cardio. The outdoor pool was too cold during my visit. Wi-Fi worked well. The breakfast had tremendous variety. For one or two nights, this hotel would be OK.

L'hotel è vicino alla spiaggia . La camera è grande e pulita. Il colazione è molto buono. Il supermercato è alla porta accanto. La città di Siti vicino a Nazarene è sulle roccia. Le viste sono molto belle e guarda la spiaggia e la città. Vale la pena la visita. Il parcheggio sul cimitero è limitato, ma se ci vai presto, è ancora possibile trovare un posto per parcheggiare. Il ricevitore è molto buono e utile. Sono arrivato all'hotel la sera, ho trovato un pneumatico piatto.Il giovane che lavorava al divano mi ha aiutato a chiamare la compagnia di noleggio auto per risolvere il problema. Raccomando questo hotel a amici.

A localização é ótima: apesar de não ser tão perto das principais atrações da cidade, fica numa região com várias opções de transporte, além de supermercados e locais para comer. O preço é um grande diferencial, tendo boas acomodações com ótimo espaço a um preço excelente. Apesar de a rua ser um tanto movimentada, não tivemos qualquer problema com barulho à noite. Mesmo não havendo ar condicionado e fazendo muito calor durante o dia, ficar com as janelas parcialmente abertas à noite foi mais que suficiente para ter uma boa noite de sono. Necessita atenção a detalhes em reparos que não custam muito e, por não terem sido feitos, acabam dando mau aspecto a um quarto que se nota ter sido renovado há pouco: a torneira não está bem fixa na pia, uma cortina não pode ser recolhida e a ducha não fica bem fixa no suporte durante o banho. O atendimento é bastante acolhedor, porém, só por questão de informação adicional, tivemos problema no pedido para deixarmos nossas bolsas de viagem antes do check-in, pois chegaríamos ainda pela manhã na cidade: sei que isso não é uma obrigação da acomodação, mas um dos motivos de reservarmos esta acomodação foi justamente por termos recebido a confirmação de que poderíamos deixar nossas coisas no hotel antes do check-in (que ocorre às 15h). Porém, como regra não há qualquer pessoa na recepção antes das 12h (ou seja, até essa hora nunca é possível deixar suas coisas lá) e no dia em que fomos não haveria ninguém nem mesmo até as 15h; pensamos apenas que poderia ter havido aviso prévio deste pormenor ou mesmo resposta quando tentamos contato, pois isso atrapalhou um pouco nossos planos na cidade. Entendemos perfeitamente as razões dadas, mas ainda assim achamos justo haver uma maior preocupação da acomodação nessa questão.

Hotel in catena molto di base - notate ci sono vecchie camere e nuove camere per l'hotel a Coimbra. Le foto elencate mostrano le nuove camere, ma ci sono state date la vecchia camera che era super datata. Neanche il telecomando remoto per la TV non funzionava. La nuova camera è stata richiesta e grazie a una stanza è disponibile per l'ispezione immediata. A quanto pare solo 5 su 90 stanze sono riqualificate? Solo il personale della reception può parlare inglese. La posizione è stata di circa 10 minuti a piedi dal centro della città e 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria Coimbra-B via Uber.

We were very happy with our two-night stay in Studio no. 12, which was spacious, tastefully appointed and had everything we needed. The host/manager Ricardo was very solicitous, regularly checking that we were satisfied and asking whether we needed anything. Our only real bone of contention had less to do with Sophia Studios and more to do with the location, with noise from the [busy] street outside and nightclubs and the like penetrating the fully closed windows and shutters. That aside, the location is excellent, within walking distance of everything you'll want to see.

Posizione eccellente (sopratutto se si è in auto Aperchè il parcheggio coperto è incluso) a due passi dalla zona pedonale (e dall'inizio della salita per l'università), accoglienza ottima disponibile anche in italiano (ci hanno indicato sulla mappa i vari punti di interesse, consigliato il ristorante). Ci hanno proposto l'upgrade di camera (+30€/g) e ne è valsa la pena purché al quinto piano le camere hanno la vetrata, che occupa l'intero lato della stanza, che da su sull'intera rocca dell'Università. Bellissima anche la terrazza (sul tetto) dove alla sera è stato molto bello stare con la splendida vista. Colazione dolce e salata, secondo me molto buona. Lo consiglio davvero.

I messed up here - thinking it was a couple of minutes walk from the train station we would arrive at from Porto. The Porto train arrives at Coimbra B, which is a 'main line' station. The station across form the hotel is Coimbra A. So, Uber to the rescue for us. The hotel is fine, but just slightly disappointing in some respects. There was no safe in the room (that we could find, anyway), and the mattress had a noisy spring that reminded you that you were turning over in bed! Breakfast (not included in our deal) looked a little underwhelming, so we went out down the street for breakfast on the morning after our one-night stay. Weirdly, the reception staff wanted to know our room number as we walked past (no luggage) to go get some breakfast - returning a bit later to check out. Not sure what that was all about.
