Cheap and cheerful hotel which is situated right beside Braga train station. It is on a par with a Premiere Inn in the UK. Reception staff helpful and room clean. Breakfast was included in price. Breakfast was basic, cheese/ham, breads, pastries etc but it was a reasonable start to the day bearing in mind the cost of the room. Easy walk into the centre from here. Would recommend for a short stay 👍

Espaço bom, aconchegante, atendimento bom, contudo, não quiseram nos emprestar 2 colheres! Sim, não puderam nos emprestar! Parecia que tinha uma obra no quarto acima, pq escutamos barulho de furadeira! E tínhamos a impressão de ter uma festa no quarto ao lado, com música e gente falando muito alto. O que foi resolvido assim que falamos a recepção. Mas o fato de não emprestar 2 colheres, deixou muito a desejar! Repensarmos uma segunda vez!

”Torre de Gomariz” rima com ”feliz” e é uma felicidade poder dizê-lo, depois de experimentar uma estadia neste extraordinariamente bem cuidado oásis de tranquilidade e harmonia. Aqui, nada é deixado ao acaso. À amplidão dos espaços interiores soma-se o conforto e bom gosto da decoração. Os equipamentos de apoio têm tudo para agradar a todos. Há vinhas e há floresta, com os seus verdes, o rumorejar das águas e o cantar dos pássaros. O restaurante tem uma cozinha de excelência e os pequenos almoços são principescos. Mas por melhor que seja o alojamento, nada se consegue sem colaboradores dedicados e competentes. Foi isso que encontrámos nestas pessoas que ”vestem a camisola” e sabem honrar o nome desta casa. Disponíveis, atenciosos, de uma educação inexcedível, foram eles a cereja no topo do bolo. Parabéns Torre de Gomariz Wine & Spa Hotel e a todos quantos fazem deste lugar um refúgio de paz e bem estar.

Siamo stati 3 notti in questo piacevole hotel come base per esplorare la regione. Le suite di piano superiore sembrano più grandi nelle foto online di quanto siano, ma la camera era confortevole e ci piaceva sentire il chime delle campane. La colazione è il prezzo usuale di yogurt, formaggio, pane e frutta. Le nostre finestre di fronte a ovest ci hanno permesso di vedere il sole sopra l'Arco da Porta Nova. Situato in una parte della strada principale, abbiamo avuto molte opzioni di caffè e ristoranti mentre camminavamo verso la zona centrale piazzata. È anche direttamente oltre un piccolo caffè di panini. Come città universitaria, siamo arrivati proprio come nuovi studenti erano stati avviati nelle loro unità accademiche e marciavano in gruppi colorati cantando canzoni fino alle 4:00, Perché avevamo una macchina da noleggio, Il parco nazionale di Peneda Geres è stato un facile viaggio e ci è piaciuto camminare e poi tornare all'hotel. L'hotel raccomanda il Park Center (R. Cardoso Avelino 25, 4700-219), che è un breve (10 minuti) facile passeggiata leggermente alto all'hotel. In ottobre, il centro di parcheggio era in gran parte vuoto e veloce per entrare e uscire.

Funcionários muito atenciosos, deixavam água todos os dias no quarto , limpavam o quarto todos os dias. Ar condicionado era uma potência… nesse calor foi uma delícia.

Hotel meraviglioso e bellissimo personale. Tutto era pulito e tempestoso. La stanza era più che sufficiente e tutto era perfetto. Colazione molto buona. Parcheggio era disponibile tutto il tempo. L'hotel è vicino al centro della città, quindi è stato facile circolare.

We arrived too early to check in, but were able to leave our bags, and offered bottles of water. Anna checked us in and was wonderful. The room was spacious and had a small fridge, stovetop, microwave/oven, and dishwasher. The location was right next to the old city. The view from the outdoor patio was priceless. I would highly recommend this guesthouse.

[To Accor members] Am not sure if Mercure in the same city is a better choice if you are as me a loyal Accor members unfortunately. As a diamond member, I have my stay here during weekend. Luckily I asked before having breakfast as I’m told that I don’t have my complimentary breakfast, not here in Braga for anyone! As checked in the Accor page, this Braga Ibis is indifferent and shall offer the same as all other participating Accor hotels. Be disappointed by the welcome drink and the missing “welcome gift”. Not even a bottled water / muffin / so…. [To everyone] I guess we like to choose Ibis because of the reliability of the standard and quality versus the price. Here in Braga Ibis Centro, be surprised. Refer to my photo attached and find yourself in a room with mould. It’s not always easy to communicate to the staff for a change of room especially it’s already late. I’m sure there are quite a lot of other alternatives around. The decor is definitely outdated. Very unfriendly socket locations and so on…as you can expect from a hotel in the 90s. BTW, It’s not at a particularly quiet location.
