This is a rather elegant Pousada which is managed by the Pestana Hotel chain. Checking in at Reception was painless and swift. The staff generally were pleasant and friendly. Our bedroom was on the ground floor overlooking the car park. We needed to keep the windows closed for security and the curtains closed for privacy. The bedroom was pleasantly furnished and in good condition. The bed was king size and very comfy. There was plenty of hanging space for clothing The size of the room left very little space to conveniently store suitcases. The room was equipped with a refrigerator but no mini bar. There was also a television which as far as I could tell only had Portuguese programs. I could not find any English language programs. This did not really a problem because I was staying at this hotel for a limited time and did not want to watch TV. The bathroom was en suite with both a bath and a shower. The bath was useless because it did not have a bath plug and the hotel staff were unable to find a bath plug for me. There was plenty of tepid warm water for washing. However you need to have patience to have hot water. Hot water took a lifetime before it reached our room Our bedroom must have been some distance from the boiler because other guests did not suffer the same problem. A lot of water was wasted while waiting for the hot water. This was not a good way to “Save the Planet” as instructed by a sign / notice on display in the bathroom from the hotel management. The plug in the wash hand basin did not work properly. As you will realise having a wash in this hotel was a bit of an ordeal. Buffet breakfast had lots to chose from with a choice hot and cold dishes. The Lounge bar is comfortable and pleasantly furnished. Apart from the lack of bath plugs, the hotel is in good condition and decorative order.

ENG: Summary: Somehow, *********** permits this barely-2-stars hotel to be verified with 4. The only thing good here are the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Possible one the most peculiar hotel I have been to in my life. Firstly, it is almost impossible to get there with a GPS. The only sign is a tiny one saying ”Local Hotel” in the front door. Secondly, the hotel is somehow 4 stars, when in reality it doesn't go over 2 stars. Some examples of this: horribly low maintenance the walls haven't been cleaned probably since it was constructed. Moreover, there is humidity problems in the hotel. The breakfast, is terribly bad. Resembling the breakfast of a backpacking hostel. Moreover, the ”room service” is basically non-existent, in which they give you ”clean” towels (not enough for everyone, we were 4, they gave us 2.) The only good thing I can think about in this hotel is probably the surprisingly large rooms and the swimming pool. Pulizia molto buona. Ti trattano con gentilezza. La colazione varia e sufficiente anche se senza cibo caldo nel caso qualcuno lo cercasse. Dolci in genere pochi perché tirano fuori vassoi e volano. Puoi avere frutta, toast, frittelle, cereali. Il caffè non è il massimo. L'hotel si trova vicino a Lisbona.

Era tutto in ordine, abbiamo trovato tutto pulito e pulito, l'unica cosa che doveva essere indicata era il colazione, pensavo che potesse esserci più varietà, solo il basso. Per esempio, frutta laminata, uova mescolate, frutta secca, vari formaggi e confetture domestiche. Ma in generale mi piaceva molto di aver soggiornato in questo hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights end of July to see Iron Maiden at the national stadium. We arrived as the bar was shutting but the barman very kindly for us a drink anyway. Comfortable rooms. Room smelled a bit when we came in but after airing it, was fine. Air con works. Room very dated but clean, maid service every day. Breakfast good, nice buffet. Evening meal basic selection of 3 different things. Nowhere else really to go and eat though. We walked into the town which is about ten minutes away and everything was shut at 7.30pm, no restaurants open, was like a ghost town. Only place open was a takeaway chicken, and that was actually very nice. Uber is cheaper to get anywhere than a taxi, around €11 into Lisbon itself. Not a hotel for families really as not much to do, or anywhere to go. Pool is nice. No kettle or any other facilities in the room to make a hot drink, so if the bar and restaurant are shut you don't have any options of getting a hot drink. Very easy access to the National stadium, short cut under the motorway, was just a 15 minute walk. Staff wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Would stay again but solely for the purpose of visiting a band at the National stadium.

È stata una piacevole esperienza, il personale molto confortevole ed efficiente; il colazione era delizioso e vario. La camera aveva buone dimensioni per due persone, un letto confortevole e spazioso, con molti posti di riposo, con cortine black-out molto efficaci e era ben climatizzato. Il bagno aveva una buona doccia, con una potenza eccellente e ben regolata a livello di temperatura. Tuttavia, l'insonorizzazione della stanza potrebbe essere molto meglio.

Mio marito e io abbiamo visitato il Portogallo e abbiamo scelto di rimanere qui e siamo così felici di averlo fatto! E 'un bel hotel, pulito, ha un grande bar/restaurante sul pavimento. Il personale era attento. Non abbiamo altro che buone cose da dire! Se si sta pianificando di visitare alcuni dei siti famosi è circa un taxi 20-25 minuti, quindi non è proprio nel centro di tutto, ma è stato un buon punto di mezzo tra Sintra (che sicuramente vale la pena visitare) e Lisbona.

Un fine settimana fantastico. Purtroppo il tempo non ha aiutato a godere della fantastica piscina esterna. Tuttavia, ci piace la piscina interna e ginnastica. Abbiamo prenotato un T2 e sicuramente abbiamo aggiornato e ci siamo sistemati in un appartamento con eccellenti condizioni e vista sul fiume Tejo. Destaccando la simpatia di tutti i dipendenti. Certamente torneremo ....

Il mio partner e io abbiamo trascorso due notti qui dopo un hotel urbano per un po' di relax. La piscina è proprio sopra l'autostrada, ma la maggior parte dei tempi non si noterà. La vista della riunione Tagus sull'Atlantico è bella in qualsiasi momento. Il cibo nel ristorante era buono, ci è stato particolarmente piacevole la colazione. Il partner dell'hotel è con un massaggiatore locale, Nikita, che ha fatto un lavoro fantastico sulle mie gambe sovraoperate. Due giorni prima, andammo in una lucertola a Sintra e a Cabo da Roca, verso Praia da Aroeira, che mi ha lasciato un dolore incredibile, ancora (anche sicuramente vale la pena e molto raccomandato), e mi sono sentito più rilassato e meno doloroso. Se si ferma in questo hotel, il massaggio non deve essere perso, per solo 40 Euro (più suggerimento, perché c'mon, siamo tutti bravi persone qui). La stanza era comoda, ma avevamo un piccolo problema con l’aria condizionata, dove l’aria non sarebbe fredda abbastanza per il mio partner caldo. Il letto era sufficiente per dormire una buona notte, anche se sarebbe stato apprezzato un altro pozzo.
