Sadly this place did not live up to its 5 Stars. Location: Too far from Porto. In good traffic 15 minutes. View: Sea view across the main dual road and lovely boulevard Room: We took one of the two sea view rooms in the main house. Dismally dark. One slim window looking out to sea but against a far wall so no view really unless you stand and go to the window. Same slim window in bedroom with direct sea view. Great when awake only. Bathroom has same but when using need the blind down, do no view. The ‘unique’ shower looks directly across to the next property. Again, blind down. The best part was absence of beside tables. Nowhere to put items and no light switch. This was about one meter above you where a shelf sat across the width of the bed. Sofas, if you can call them that, would. E better placed in a garden or play area. Breakfast: Basic, no daily variety. The same every day. Eggs were awful and served alone poor things! No garnish, nothing. On two occasions we asked for grilled tomatoes and were told it was not possible. What?! So whatever eggs you order presentation was zero from ten and taste was the same. You can guess what the rest was like based on this. Best dish was poached eggs served in a bowl of warm water! Service was slow and without pleasantness. Room service: Appalling. Simple request for ice and some lime slices took 20 minutes and arrived with lemon slices. Two more attempts on different days. Ice and orange slice. After 15 minutes ice and a peeled orange presented in a cloche arrived. With a bill for €5!! Needles to say this was sent back. Housekeeping: Dreadful. No requests, and there were not many, were adhered to. Simple extra towel requests were ignored, or am overload of towels delivered Beware, turn down is attempted at around 16:30/17:00. So a huge disappoin**ent for a similar size cost. Much better places close and in Porto with lovely views. Try the Yea**an. Prenotato per un soggiorno di una settimana in questo hotel, & è stato deluso all'arrivo. Il ricevitore era brutto, la stanza era completamente visibile dalla strada senza cortine di privacy, quindi potevamo mantenere le cortine di blackout completamente chiuse o assolutamente privacy da un intersezione molto occupata. Inoltre, il sedile bagno, la porta bagno e l'aria condizionata erano tutti rotti o difettosi. Non abbiamo fatto un cazzo perché avevamo intenzione di trascorrere i nostri giorni e sulla spiaggia, che è a 10 minuti a piedi. Ma poi abbiamo avuto un'emergenza familiare a casa e abbiamo dovuto tagliare il nostro viaggio, e riordinare i nostri voli urgentemente. Abbiamo chiesto di ottenere un rimborso parziale per i giorni che non potevamo rimanere, offrendo di pagare una tassa di cancellazione, come abbiamo cercato di pagare per i voli di ultima notte a casa. Il ricevitore era incredibilmente brutto e dismissivo. Non solo si rifiutò di aiutare, ma ci disse di “spostarsi” per qualche ora, dicendo che avrebbe chiamato il manager, ma si rifiutò di farlo sul posto, per nessun motivo.Gli abbiamo detto che stavamo cercando di organizzare voli a casa e lui si è semplicemente sgridato, annoiato. Non ha cercato di chiamare nessuno o suggerire di non poterlo fare in quel momento, ha semplicemente rifiutato di andarci per qualche ora, quando abbiamo cercato di fare accordi urgenti. Ho chiamato gli uffici dell'hotel Urban sette volte senza risposta, e-mail sulla situazione e non ha ricevuto alcun aiuto, nessun rimborso, nessun credito, nessun aiuto di base. Un hotel completamente subpar, ma la mancanza di cortesia, rispetto di base e compassione era orribile. Vorrei consigliare di non rimanere qui.

We just came back from a 4 night stay. We highly recommend this hotel. The staff was amazing (Miguel and Gabriel) were especially helpful upon check in and other occasions. It was easy to use public transportation (close-by). The beach is right down the street. Many good restaurants within walking distance. Grocery Store next door. Bar Staff were amazing. Air Conditioning was nice and cold. Rooms were clean, beds were super comfortable. Highly recommended!

Arriviamo a Porto come tappa finale della nostra vacanza, purtroppo l'albergo aveva un problema temporaneo con l'acqua e noi avevamo poco tempo a disposizione, abbiamo chiesto uno spostamento immediato all'altra struttura a Porto della stessa catena. Scrivo quessta recensione per fare i co***limenti allo Staff ed in particolar modo a Priscila che ha fatto in modo che la nosttra vancaza non venisse rovinata da uno spiacevole inconveniente
