UUtente ospiteWe stayed as a family of three—two adults and a toddler—for five days at Abraham Bohol. The hotel is located in Dao, Panglao Island. It’s situated a couple of minutes away by motorized vehicle (about fifteen minutes by foot) from Alona Beach. Abraham Bohol is actually a combination of a hostel and a resort hotel, we stayed at the latter, lodging at their Family Room with Direct Pool access, which as the title say, opens directly to the pool area. The room is extremely spacious and can bed up to five guests. I love how large the smart TV is (even if it’s quite hard to operate), the comfy beds, the poolside balcony, and the drinking water station right outside our door. The toilet and bath is also very spacious and is equipped with a bidet, a telephone and rainshower-type showerheads. The main dining hall, which also acts as a lounge and lobby, sits right between the hostel area and the hotel resort area. It has a pool table, board games, a lounge area, and a working ATM machine. This is also where we have the complimentary breakfast buffet. Their buffet isn’t as grand as those at upscale resorts, offering fruits, breads, rice, egg, and a choice viand for the day. It’s actually not that bad if you manage your expectations. Coffee and juice are free throughout the day, so is the use of the full kitchen—yes, you can actually cook here. For those in Bohol for only a couple of days, spending their days outside their room on tours, I highly recommend staying at their dorm rooms—which are super affordable. If you want to have a more luxurious stay, consider the resort hotel.
