Pros: - Great location: beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, and a short (10 minutes or so) drive to the start of the Balcony Walk. - Nice of the staff to upgrade us to a stone chalet with a mountain view! - Buffet breakfast and dinner included. - Clean, quiet, comfortable room (stone chalet) with everything we needed. - Good playground for kids, and plenty of outdoor seating. - Peaceful setting.   Neutral: - The breakfast and dinner buffets were fine, I guess especially for being up in the mountains, but nothing to necessarily write home about. - The water in the shower took ages to get hot, so be sure to turn on the water heater as soon as you arrive if you want a hot shower at night. Cons: - There was no housekeeping (we stayed two nights). - We had to ask for toilet paper--even on the first day. Stayed two nights here with our toddler, and probably would stay again. It's up in the mountains, and even in mid-April it was a tad chilly at night (pants and a sweater were fine though, and the rooms come with space heaters, which we definitely used).

Un magnifico soggiorno a The View. È certamente un'avventura per arrivare all'hotel attraverso strade buffe, ma la posizione è assolutamente interessante. Per coloro che cercano viste sublime dopo un giorno di canyoning e avventura intorno a Jebel Shams. Il hotel è ben attrezzato e le opzioni alimentari sono diverse, soprattutto la sera quando è disponibile un buffet. Il personale è così accogliente e utile, apprezziamo soprattutto l'aiuto di Richard (Manager) durante il nostro soggiorno. Inoltre, se non si preoccupa di una nuoto fredda - una delle più belle piscine che abbia mai visto !
