Very helpful and supportive for having to extend my stay, without much warning.l, due to hospital appointments. Clean and cosy studio unit which was suitable for my needs. Cafe Zest is a superb Cafe with menu items for Gluten-free customers and also willingness to find out ingredients in foods offered. Great coffee always 😋

Great location, easy to find Cuba Street directly off Main Street. Motel located opposite stadium. Appreciated that they accommodated request for upstairs room and were okay with possible late arrival. Have stayed previously, obvious current owners have continued to update and improve facilities (new carpet, I think, and bigger TVs) Very clean, most importantly no trace of previous occupants, just a couple of spots that need attention....on carpet (looks like a spilage) and corner of spa bath (bit of mould) and walls by TV in need of repaint after repair. (I had first room in corridor, upstairs) ...otherwise perfectly clean. Disappointed not to have the recliners but understand that they may have to the end of their useful life. Would have liked to have had breakie out on deck but no table, (just 2 chairs), a small table would be very useful addition. Bed in this room not as comfortable as previous stays, maybe needs a topper. Air conditioning was great. Book direct with motel to get best rate.

I must admit I was not sure what to expect when I booked this motel. I’ll happily admit I was pleasantly surprised. Easy to find and well located. Friendly host. Clean and tidy parking area. The room itself was spotless. Although I was only there for one night, it left me with a positive impression and I’ll very happily stay there again.

Ho prenotato molti mesi prima ( 10) quando venivamo per un matrimonio e avevano prenotato 3 camere. Per fortuna è successo a Palmy il fine settimana prima del matrimonio e pensavo di controllare la prenotazione, perché dovevamo cambiare il numero di persone che arrivavano. Per sorpresa, le nostre camere non erano state prenotate, anche se avevo un email di conferma che era tutto confermato per quelle camere e date (3 notti) Per il nostro salvataggio era una bella signora Julie che era in ricezione quel giorno. Ha riuscito a cambiare e a ordinare tutto in modo che le camere che ci servivano fossero state. Grazie, Julie. Oh, ma dopo un lavoro così duro da parte di un membro per rendere grande il nostro soggiorno, è stato lasciato in mano dalle camere stesse. Il letto aveva fogli di colore, un aria condizionata molto forte e rumoroso, una macchina da caffè fornita come avevamo una suite, ma non c’erano piatti da usare. Il giorno dopo ho notato che il nostro letto non era stato appena trascinato e le aree della stanza erano polverose. Il hotel di 4 stelle non è più come un 2 stelle. Siamo riusciti a sentirlo troppo prezzi e non rimarrà più in soggiorno.

A Great last minute stay here! Booked a room at the Harrington's Motor Lodge only 10mins before I arrived. I usually stay up the road, but the last minute room rate here was really good. The lovely lady at Reception hadn't quite seen my booking come through, so she rushed around getting my room organized. Proper Fresh Milk offered, none of those horrid UHT pottles to be seen. Parking was available directly outside the rooms. My room was just one of their basic studios. They were nothing flash, but all the fundamentals were excellent. Comfy Beds, Clean, and warm. Huge TV with the 50+ Sky TV Channels. Small Kitchenette with all the stuff you'd need to cook a small meal/breakfast. Bathroom had a wet area shower, which unfortunately had pretty shocking pressure. I had feared when I arrived, that this place may have been being used as an Emergency Housing Facility. There were a couple of shady people hanging around outside their rooms, and old beaten up cars. After a terrible experience the night before in a Motel that was an EH Facility, I was really nervous. However, the shady people outside were extremely quiet and respectful. So hopefully this place is not a EH Facility. My few gripes would be the shocking shower pressure. The lack of Power Sockets by the bed for the charging of phones and the likes. And not the Motels fault, but Turning right out of the Motel onto Fitzherbert Street can be very hard at times, and some massive patience is needed. So all in all, the Harrington's Motor Lodge is an extremely decent, comfortable, clean and affordable place to spend the night. The owners/manager are very friendly people. This place offers excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again

Il ragazzo che ci ha controllati non era buono, non ci ha detto dove si trovava la nostra stanza, ci ha guardati da un piano di sopra, mentre uscivamo di qui, che era incredibile. La stanza era davvero pulita (a parte la plastica sinistra sul pavimento), il servizio del secondo giorno era terribile, nessun letto fatto, nessun sapone sostituito, nessuna biancheria facciale sostituita, nessuna tovagliola usata, la bottiglia di pulizia sinistra nella nostra bagno. Apprezzevano fare i nostri piatti che non ci aspettavamo. Il file sulla stanza era soso sticky le pagine all'interno si bloccavano insieme. La pressione della doccia era terribile! Bella acqua calda, amavamo che potessimo adattarci cinque di noi in una stanza! Tre singole in camera da letto e una regina in sala. Letti confortevoli e letti ma dovevano chiamare per un altro biancheria (& sapone) perché tutti erano freddi con la lama e un super sottile biancheria. Non ci sono biancheria elettrica. Super comodo divano. Nonostante le altre recensioni, questo ci è stato trovato molto tranquillo e ha buone tende nere. Piccoli tocchi come le candele di luce corrispondenti lo stesso ombra & colore & riparazione dell'unità di letto sono economici e fanno una grande differenza. Non mi consiglierei, è buono, un buon posto lasciato solo per servizio in tutte le aree.

Il personale è molto accogliente, ma un po' sorpreso dalla mancanza di coperture di fronte. Ancora più notabile, poiché non vi è alcun interesse per la vaccinazione (comprendere che, ma avrebbe pensato che le maschere fossero ancora più valide in una zona di accoglienza chiusa quando lo stato non è noto e si occupano dei viaggiatori). Il fatto di andare oltre quel personale sicuramente benvenuto... appena quando viaggia è un problema notabile... l'unità era esattamente quello che ci aspettavamo - pulito, confortevole e luminoso con tutto quello che ci aspettava per un breve soggiorno. Il letto era confortevole, ma il complesso dispositivi di rumore significato da altre unità e rumore stradale. Nel complesso, il grande valore e se l'unità alla nostra testa non avesse avuto la TV tutta la notte, il nostro soggiorno sarebbe stato notevolmente migliorato. Rimanere a casa, ma qualcosa di cui essere consapevole. Nota anche che un liceo è sopra la prigione, quindi aspettare le campane durante il periodo scolastico.

Booked 3 rooms for family group, totalling 8 room nights. In Palmy for a family wedding. The room was very clean and the rate very good at $135 a night. The motel is very close to the Mall Entrance with lots of decent shopping and also near a number of restaurants. I liked the walking distance aspect. The rooms were very dark and there is a fan rather than air con. Luckily it wasn’t too hot. Our room had an upgraded bathroom, others did not. There were a couple of issues with the shower not draining in the non renovated bathrooms. The reception manager is friendly, however we requested a later checkout and when refused, asked if wer could just use one of our three rooms, for half an hour, due to a late night the previous day at the wedding. However this was declined. I would have thought request that wouldn’t have imposed on the cleaning schedule too much as the other rooms could have been serviced first. For an $1000+ reservation group, most hotels I’ve stayed in would accomodate this request. Accordingly I have marked down this property, which I rarely do.

Good: nice to see a motel refurbishing the bathroom -clean , presentable and nice shower over decent spa bath .location central however single glazed so somewhat noisy from road . Bad : clientele next door I had a guest and there friends partying, coming and going , loud / shouting and drunk and ….very messy They took my delivery order food ! Claiming they thought it was there’s. Reported my concerns about this / drunk …driving / noise to reception Also made offical complaint about it all in morning - met with no empathy from owner little in the way of fixing except I have talked to guest about the visitors . The place didn’t feel good I didn’t feel safe and had poor sleep and no dinner ! The bed was very low to the ground and bed linen not nicely dressed or presented .. cheap shiny cover and flat pillows . Given lack of response from owner or assurance will not return ever . One of the worst experiences in 30 years of travelling
