We booked double rooms with view. The rooms are large with large bathroom and balconies with chairs and table. The beds were good. The view from the room is super. The staff is very kind and attentive on how to help. We can park in front of the hotel. The breakfast was good with a bad mark on the supposed hot food (eggs, sausages, beans) which were cold, but really cold ! Our regret is not to have tried the restaurant which looked very good. I highly recommend to try as after all it does not seem so expensive (in Norway) and the menu was very attractive. Last they have an internal and external (very nicely set up terrasse on the fjord with obviously plenty of roses) bar with a great list of cocktails and an incredible cave. Unfortunately the day we were there they had a party and we could not try. Overall an excellent experience and great stop in between Geiranger and Trondheim. One of our best hotels in our roadtrip in Norway. We recommend.

Hotel carino con una buona posizione vicino al centro della città. Il personale era benvenuto e servito. Il colazione era grande. Ho avuto una camera unica che era molto moderna con un comodo letto, ma non era il migliore isolamento sonoro. Il parcheggio è stato gratuito all'esterno con 2 caricatori per auto elettriche.

Got the master suite here for one night. Check in was easy and the receptionist was helpful. We got the suite on the 13th floor. The room itself was spacious with multiple rooms separated by a door, and a balcony to see over the landscape and Ocean. While the room had plenty of space, multiple things were not up to the standard I expect for a master suite. First of all there were technically two bathrooms in the room, but both were not especially big and you do not have much room in either, as well as the shower being built into the tub, which is not something I like at all. The toilet seat in the main bathroom was also very loose so it went to either side as you tried sitting down quite easily. The TV also seemed like a big afterthought, as it was just placed somewhat randomly close ish to the couch, and it being far smaller than many I've had in standard rooms in other hotels in the past. I expected more on that front with this being their premier room type. The bed and everything else was comfy and fine, with no clear issues outside the prior ones mentioned. The breakfast was also fine and the 2nd floor restaurant space was spacious. The receptionist was also kind enough to pour me a beer even though the bartender was sick the night of my arrival. All in all though I cannot give too high marks given the status of what by all accounts is their premier and top tier room type at the hotel. Nonetheless I think most will have a good stay here.

Posizione centrale, struttura pulitissima e con attenzione ai dettagli. Stanza ampia e pulita, bagno ben illuminato. Ci hanno dato una stanza con upgrade gratuito, davvero molto bella seppur con vista sul retro. La stanza aveva anche il frigo, che non sempre abbiamo trovato in Norvegia, nemmeno in altri hotel a 4 stelle. Colazione davvero varia e ben fornita, sia dolce che salata. Gentilissime e cortesi le ragazze alla reception. Parcheggjo pubblico disponibile nelle adiacenze dell’albergo, che ci ha indicato cortesemente la signorina alla reception. L’hotel dispone comunque di un parcheggio privato a pagamento e vi è un’area sosta proprio avanti all’ingresso della struttura per poter parcheggiare e fare il check in. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, il migliore di tutto il soggiorno in Norvegia durante questo nostro viaggio.
