Aveva un bel soggiorno qui in settembre con mia madre e mia figlia. Siamo stati in famiglia per visitare la tomba di guerra di mio zio. Siamo arrivati molto tardi la sera quando la cena era chiusa, ma l'hotel ci ha assicurato di avere un pasto. Abbiamo mangiato in hotel per 2 delle nostre 3 notti di soggiorno e il cibo era bellissimo e ragionevolmente prezzi. Il personale era amichevole e attento. Avevamo due camere e entrambe erano spaziose e ben decorate con bellissime suite. L'hotel è idealmente situato sulla strada principale di Elst. Ci siamo trasferiti in una bella stanza e saremmo tornati.

The location of the hotel is excellent, a train station right outside the door. However we had brought our bikes with us and Nijmegen city center was an easy 15 min ride across the bridge. The hotel also rents bikes. Service was excellent all around. There is a wellness center with sauna, steam room, relax area, and showers. We used it several times and wacht time it was very clean. There is also a gym. My husband also had a massage and the lady Sima was excellent. Highly recommend her. A shout out to the omelet chef, he was very friendly, energetic and made wonderful omelets. It was extremely busy on Sat at breakfast and we were amazed how well he dealt with all the orders. We had a corner room on the 13th floor with an impressive view of the Nijmegen skyline. Room was sound proof and had excellent beds. All in all a wonderful stay.

Solo a pochi passi (grazie per la collina) dalla stazione ferroviaria (servizi di trasporto ferroviario e autobus affidabili a quasi ovunque nei Paesi Bassi) l'hotel è ancora più breve a piedi dalla banca settentrionale del Nederrijn con le sue ombre passeggiate e Molti ristoranti. Quando sono arrivato a mezzogiorno la stanza non era pronta, ma il personale (più tardi) era felice di tenere il mio caso fino a quando non sono tornato quel pomeriggio (e ancora dopo l'uscita di check-out prima di partire in un treno di pomeriggio). La stanza stessa era una grande dimensione con un letto grande e confortevole, un desk e una sedia funzionale e una sedia confortevole. Carni, uova e formaggi erano adeguate, iogurt buono, salsa di frutta fresca molto buono. Il caffè era fornito da macchina e buono con una varietà di offerte. Non ho provato nessuna delle altre scelte fredde (standard con il marchio Express) e non ho provato nessuna delle altre scelte fredde. Anche se si trovava abbastanza centralmente con facile accesso ai negozi e tutte le strutture e le infrastrutture abituali, la stanza era tranquilla e tranquilla. Stayed 1 night on a Leger Holidays tour. Before arrival our guide phoned ahead to book our group of 26 people into the restaurant for dinner. We were told this would be fine and there would also be porterage for our luggage. Plus as we had an early start in the morning a take away breakfast would be supplied and we would be given a list to select our choices. However on arrival the receptionist knew nothing of the conversation stating that her colleague had gone home and no one knew anything about the prior arrangement. So no porterage and no take away breakfast list. The issue of porterage was quite a problem as there was a fair number of elderly people in our group and some of the rooms had no lift access. (In fairness the receptionist did carry one elderly gentleman's case to his room) Our group was told to go to the Restaurant at 6-30pm for dinner which we did only to be told we weren't dining in the restaurant but in the bar area. We had no proper menu to look at and on complaining we were given a hastily prepared sheet of paper with limited choice and no prices. Once again we complained about this and another sheet of paper appeared with prices. We noticed that we were being charged the same price for our limited choice menu as the Ala Carte menu so why couldn't we be given the Ala Carte menu in the first place and sit in the proper restaurant? By now it was 8pm and a couple of our group had given up on the idea of eating and had gone to bed. The service we received was also third rate. Soup arriving after the main course and no spoon to eat it with, table water was requested which arrived but nobody thought about giving us glasses to drink it, food arriving luke warm/cold. Another 2 members of our group gave up with dinner and decided to eat bar food at the bar. They ordered their food together and one arrived an hour after the first. When we finally managed to track down a duty manager and brought all the above to her attention she was unsympathetic and quite obnoxious in the manner she responded to an elderly person who raised the difficulties the hotel were obviously having in catering for a group. You would think a hotel would welcome a group of 26 into their restaurant with open arms and provide a better service. The chaotic feel also extended into the rooms. Although they were of a fair size they were a little dated. The bathroom had a very deep bathtub that was quite hazardous to get in and out of even for a tall person like myself and there was no safety grab rails. There was a kettle in the room but no English breakfast tea and paper cups. (The kind of thing you would expect in a budget hotel) In fairness the take away breakfast was good and so large it also sufficed for lunch as well. Sadly any plus points were outweighed by the appalling treatment our group received the previous evening.

Prima hotel! Badkamer was alleen niet heel schoon en er ontbraken war handige dingetjes zoals koffiemokken en een haakje voor je handdoek in de badkamer.

Hotel is erg goed gelegen op het einde van de hippe winkelstraat waar ook ook veel restaurants gelegen zijn, dichtbij Grote Markt, Waal kade, Kronenburger park. Onze kamer was blijkbaar in renovatie want er hing een indringende verfgeur en verf sporen op de badkamer vloer die nog niet verwijderd waren. TV moeten verbinden en opnieuw moeten installeren. Voor sommigen misschien details maar zou in orde moeten zijn.

Great location at the river and in the center. Nice river view from small but comfortable rooms. The hotel is a former warehouse with lots of old details that add to the nice atmosphere. The whole building but also the breakfast and level of service represent the love of the host for his guests. Every hotel would wish such a great host.
