The room is clean and neat, water heater reduced temperature after 10 minutes of shower. Wifi was decent. Room quite small if you take the room with no window but no problem if you’re ok with it, wall is not soundproof. I can hear the room beside me talk.

Non pensavo ci fosse un hotel circondato da una grande piantagione di olio di palma ... un luogo tranquillo lontano dalla rabbia e dalla bustina della città.fornire cabine che vendano cibo per facilitare il soggiorno mentre aspettano che i bambini si bagnino nella piscina. molto ragionevole prezzo. spaziosa e pulita. spaziosa zona di parcheggio. tornerà a dirlo agli amici.

I've stayed here for the second time. Still as impressed as ever The only slight problem is that the hot water kettle in the room doesn't work. Being able to check the equipment would be great. Overall, it's good. I like the friendly, smiling staff. Waiting to provide good service.

UUtente ospiteWe had a fantastic stay at The Westin Desaru! The hotel’s impeccable service made our experience truly enjoyable from start to finish. We spent our time cycling around the area, taking in the beautiful coastal views, and later cooled off with a relaxing swim in the pool. The hotel also had great recreational options—we had fun playing ping pong and unwinding after. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious spread with plenty of variety. Overall, a wonderful getaway with excellent amenities and top-notch hospitality. Would definitely return!

MManish KumarWe had a wonderful stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru with our family, including our 3-year-old twins. The hotel perfectly blends a vibrant rock-and-roll atmosphere with family-friendly amenities.The kids' pool area was a highlight for us, featuring splash zones and shallow waters that kept our little ones entertained for hours. The staff were incredibly attentive specially duty manager Syam who helped us with in getting interconnected room since our request didn't go through in the system, and the hotel's thoughtful touches, like kid-friendly dining options and a welcoming vibe, made traveling with toddlers so much easier. The private beach is 5 mins walk through a short passage crossing WESTIN.
Our interconnected rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fun rock-themed decor that our twins loved. We also appreciated the proximity to Adventure Waterpark, which added an extra layer of excitement to our trip.
Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru is an excellent choice for families seeking a mix of relaxation and fun. We'll definitely return!

Cleanliness of the whole resort.
We also love the beach, picking seashells, the bath salts and soaps provided, and the beginner birdwatching activity. Guide was knowledgeable, kind and helpful.
What we didn’t like:
Not sheltered carpark
Quite pricey to pay for an extra child
Hard to go out into room balcony because of the flies, mosquitoes and lizards outside. We didn’t want them in the room.
Overall a superb experience. Do try!

UUtente ospiteGreat service from the staff! Security guard was also attentive and assisted to direct us to an empty lot when the carpark was full. Will be great if balcony has a drying rack to hang wet swimwear. Breakfast was good with varieties. Convenient location near shops & eateries.

TthewanderlustThe place was well maintained and cleaned. The food was good. The facilities inside were great for family. Just that it was too overly crowded. The check in process took almost 2 hours. We felt like we were at the government agency counter while waiting for the number to be called. It was not a good experience considering the amount of money we paid to book here. Everywhere inside also was super crowded. The waterpark was so full of people it felt anxious to be there. Too bad we could not get the access to the beach probably because of the monsoon season. Overall, we preferred Lotus Seaview rather than here.

HHamimahStaff at the front desk just okay. We booking for king bed but I believe it was just a queen size bedroom since we request for ground level as im pregnant. No lift provided. The interior was not very nice. The basic appliances were provided but the fridge is not functioning(not so cool) and not much space to set our foods and baby bottles etc.,. The worst was the smell from the sink (smells comes from the sewage) and need to open the exhaust fan all day long. Even i put soap the smell wont come off the smells comes from the drainage. It was bad i almost thrown up when opening the toilet door. I would not recommend staying here during monsoon seasons because we were not able to walk along the beach (the tide was high). The only thing i love were the environment of this resort (its so relaxing outside of the room) and the breakfast was superb. For dinner we went outside and eat at warung tepi futsal and the food were bad. The price almost the same as JB (quite pricey) even though JB still can get lower price.the staff at the pool counter was not friendly. His nails were so long and dirty . Not even smile at us. And answer our question smirkingly because we forgot our towel card.

UUtente anonimoThis is our second visit as a family to Sand and Sandals. The resort is nice and quiet, with a peaceful beach. The eateries are also quiet and peaceful - they have Western, local, Japanese, and Chinese food. There is also a small cafe. The service staff and reception are friendly and helpful. The room is big with a large shower and comfy beds, and soap, shampoo aee provided. The hotel breakfast buffet spread is large with a good selection of food, and it is constantly replenished. Overall, an excellent place if you want a quiet getaway, to chill and laze around without crowds. Transfer to and from the ferry terminal was also smooth. We would return again for a relaxing trip.

The pool is very nice. Can shelter from hot sunny at the kids area. Nice beach cafe at night. Good & affordable restaurant seafood/masakan panas(halal). Got an affordable convenience store. Everything is there.

LLimReasonable price, good location near the beach, all rooms are facing the seaview & friendly staff, breakfast spread is quite good for the price.
The facility is quite rundown, lack of maintenance - plants & landscape need to upkeep, turf with litters, aircon is very noise because air filter is choked with dust. Other nearby areas of interest are closed, Ostrich farm & Adventures park. If hotel wants to keep customers coming, they really have to take it seriously to upkeep the whole facility.
