Stayed here for 3 nights as part of a coach trip. Check in was quick ( mainly done by the coach driver). There are only 2 small lifts so waiting time can be long, no stairs to use! We asked where the stairs are as only on the 1st floor, was told we had to go outside and a member of staff would have to open a door! The room was cold on arrival but did warm up with the heater on. Twin room but beds pushed together and no room to separate them. No tea/coffee facilities, limited storage and space. Small but adequate bathroom. Shower was good, spacious and hot. Basic toiletries offered. and one towel per gest, no hand towel. Breakfast was OK, usual offerings, limited hot food but enough to have some choice, not laid out very well, with the que for coffee in the way of the cold selection. Evening meal was provided as part of our coach trip, no choice offered, salad to start, which was very nice, chicken and tinned potatoes as a main and artic roll for dessert, no water provided so had to buy drinks. Overall, disappointed as very basic, Ok for few nights, would not have wanted a longer stay.

Ich war mit meiner Frau für einen Kurztipp in diesem Hotel. Als Zimmer bekommt man das was man erwarten kann. Das wichtigste Kriterium hat dieses Hotel aber absolut erfüllt. Abgesehen vom Rauchmelder an der Decke (geschenkt) war es picobello sauber. Besonders loben möchte ich das Team. Alle unheimlich nett und hilfsbereit. Wirklich super. Einen Stern muss ich jedoch wegen der Lage abziehen. Eine Anreise ohne Auto ist wegen der eher unpraktischen Lage sollte definitiv unterbleiben. Fazit: Wir bedanken uns und gerne wieder

Hotel situato in una posizione non centralissima ma in una zona tranquilla e poco trafficata (prevalentemente uffici e centri commerciali). In 10 minuti si arriva in centro città senza problemi. Il parcheggio costa 29€ in settimana mentre è gratuito nel weekend. Camere nuove, spaziose, letto enorme e comodissimo, un po’ meno i cuscini troppo “molli” per i nostri gusti. In camera c’è un bollitore con possibilità di farsi caffè solubile o the. Inoltre sono offerte alcune bibite e dell’acqua. C’è il ristorante ma non lo abbiamo provato. Palestra molto bella con molti attrezzi. Da tornarci sicuramente se ripassiamo da Lussemburgo.

Un bel hotel. Il personale era amichevole e molto utile. Tutto era spettralemente pulito!!! Un grande lavoro da parte della squadra di manutenzione della casa. Le camere e le bagni erano belle e spaziose, il nostro aveva anche un bagno completo. La nostra camera era sul fronte della strada principale, ma le finestre avevano un lavoro fantastico per bloccare il rumore e l'aria ha tenuto la stanza bella e fredda. C'era un ascensore per fare il viaggio fino alla nostra stanza con la pranzo senza difficoltà. Il colazione era fresco e variabile. Pancake, yogurt, salad, succo d'arancia fresco, bacon, uova, salsicce ecc. C'era anche un ristorante nello stesso edificio che era costantemente occupato. La prossima volta che siamo in Lussemburgo, lo faremo provare. Avremmo molto consigliato Hotel Pax!!

Wir waren für eine Nacht in Luxemburg und dafür war das Hotel Empire perfekt. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und alles wurde schnell und unkompliziert abgewickelt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt mehr als ausreichend. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns sehr überrascht, die Auswahl war liebevoll und von hoher Qualität. Durch die Lage direkt am Hauptbahnhof bzw. einer Hauptverkehrsstraße kann es natürlich mal lauter werden, im 3. Stock war es aber vollkommen OK. Dafür ist alles fußläufig erreichbar und wir waren trotz Parkplatz am „P+R Lux Sud“ mit dem Bus innerhalb von 15 min am Hotel. Gerne wieder!

Convenientemente situato proprio lungo la strada dalla stazione ferroviaria centrale, ma con un prezzo relativamente economico per la città di Lussemburgo. Non ricordo di prenotare una grande stanza con la propria cucina, ma che quello che mi è stato accolto è stato grande, è sempre bello poter mettere qualche pasticceria e bevande nel frigorifero. La suite è al livello normale per me. Non molto dalla finestra, ma si aspetta da un hotel centro città. Il ricevitore è sempre stato amichevole e utile.

Reception: Man was helpful and efficient, maps offered at time of checkin, and also advised that all public transport in Luxembourg country is free of charge (at the time of our stay). Room / facilities: Room number 504 is on the 5 floor and is clean, cosy and basic, a queen bed, flat screen TV, small table, 1 chair and ottoman. The room has to much furniture for the 12sq m room size. The room is facing the rear of the hotel and is very quiet. There is a self control air con fan (built into the roof) with a window that opens a small amount. The ibis Styles room has zero room amenities to offer guests, no fridge, no tea/coffee, no safe, no bottled water, which would be expected in a Ibis Styles.….. I have experienced more amenities in a standard ibis hotel when i was in vietnam a few days prior to arrival into Luxembourg. Laundry: Drop off laundry service is available at additional cost. Parking: is available at an additional cost Wifi: Complementary and really good speed. Email address required to access. Conclusion: Very close to the main train station, supermarkets around the corner or next door, old town is approx 1km or a 10 min walk, trams depart regularly to old town direction. The main train station is a 2 min walk also bus and tram stops. Letdowns: Whilst there are many nightclubs in the general area, it did make one feel slightly uncomfortable whilst walking the street. Construction noise during the day is heard from the construction at the end of the street. It was very odd, that upon our checkout the reception man offered us a coffee on departure. Despite entering and exiting the hotel numerous times throughout our stay, we were never offered a coffee. Location / Nearby: Main train station, supermarket around the corner or next door. Old town centre is about a 1km (or 5 mins on the tram), main train station, bus stops and tram stop are a 2 min walk. Getting to hotel: Best use GPS. From the Lux airport, Bus 29 will take you to the main train station this is direct and can take 30 mins depending on traffic. Public Transport is currently free (at the time of our stay)
