UUtente anonimoL'hotel si affaccia sulla spiaggia di sabbia nera. La camera dispone di tutti i servizi desiderati. È pulita e ordinata e gli utensili da cucina e i condimenti sono completi. La spiaggia di sabbia nera è così bella che è perfetta per rilassarsi quando fa bel tempo Bene.

UUtente ospiteGreat value for your money here when compared with other parts of iceland. We had a superior double room, and it was huge. Great views from our room of the ocean and sunrise in the morning. The bed was comfortable, excellent shower with good pressure and could actually turn the heat up and very quiet. When we went down to breakfast the next day, it was absolute chaos! People everywhere and tour groups leaving while we were trying to get breakfast so you'd have to get out of the way or risk getting trampled by 20 people and their suitcases rolling right through the middle of the buffet, but once we got to it the breakfast was fantastic! Plenty of options and not just continental. When we left we were shocked at how many cars and busses were there. I can't comment on dinner as we didn't have it, but I'd imagine it was busy based on the amount of people there! Surprisingly quiet for the number of guests.

The stay at Guesthouse Carina was like staying over at a friends', or a family member's house. As soon as I stepped in the door, I got homey vibes and my room really exceeded my expectations. My room was on the ground floor between one toilet and one bathroom which I thought was great, and all bathrooms and the toilet were clean and inviting. I did hear people talk outside the door, but not to a degree that it was disturbing me. There was a pair of ear plugs on the shelf, so it seems they are aware that some guests are more disturbed by people talking outside their doors. I hadn't booked my stay to include breakfast initially, but on the day of check-in I got an offer to book breakfast for 1900 ISK, so I did. The breakfast was served in the glass patio, which had a beautiful view of Vik and the black sand beach and the breakfast was really good. I loved the homemade Icelandic rye bread, it tasted like gingerbread cake! If I ever go back to Vik, I will definitely try to book a room at Guesthouse Carina again.

UUtente ospiteWe really enjoyed our stay here. It’s quiet, only about 7 rooms. The girl working when we arrived is just the nicest and so hardworking. She was a huge help the day we arrived running our drenched clothing through the dryer for us. We will be forever grateful for that. Rooms are very spacious and clean. It’s sorta middle ground, not a fancy place by any means, but also a step above basic. Breakfast was lovely and included freshly scrambled eggs. They have great blackout curtains for blocking the never setting Iceland sun. There did seem to be a bit of a funky drain smell in the bathroom at times that wafted. Location was great for getting to Vik, black sand beaches, glacier hike, etc.

FFanfandebabaLa zona circostante l'hotel è molto tranquilla. Si trova a circa tre chilometri da Vic. È anche molto vicino alla spiaggia di sabbia nera. C'è anche una sorgente termale all'aperto 😁 È circondata da montagne e fiumi e occasionalmente puoi vedere anatre selvatiche che giocano nell'acqua.
