It was very nice and comfortable. The hotel is very close to beach with many facilities. You can trust this place with full heart. Staffs are excellent except Manager. He has serious manner issue and he hasn’t invited anyone of the guests whenever I see him in reception. Dude thinks that he is Peaky blinder or some celebrity figure😎

Recently we want for a weekend to Varkala. We have been going to Varkala for weekend getaways for the past 5 years… unfortunately we never knew of this beautiful place before-BCanti Beach Resort. It is a very beautifully laid out property next to the beach. We stayed in their highest category room with the best view of the ocean. The cleanliness and comfort was exceptional beyond doubt, but what stands out even more is their food. They have an amazing team of chefs who dish out such authentic delicacies. Cherry on the top, what is most important for anyone I guess, is their warm hospitality. If you are planning stay at Varkala, just don’t think twice- BCanti is the best there.

In realtà siamo andati lì per un'uscita. Ma l'atmosfera era fantastica. E 'spazioso e bellissimo. Pulizio. Anche le persone sono così umili e fanno delizioso cibo. Le camere sono spaziose e belle. Dispongono di una piscina per il piacere dei bambini. Anche se la strada per il resort è piccola, il resort è molto spazioso in una grande proprietà. Il design è simile all'architettura Kerala tradizionale con strutture moderne. È una proprietà che deve visitare. Ci hanno dato un fantastico colazione. Valore per il denaro affrontarli.

I had an amazing experience at the Niraamaya Wellness Retreats in Kovalam and highly recommend this exceptional and idyllic destination. I did a five day personalised yoga and meditation retreat which was absolutely wonderful and tailored to my needs thanks to Unni the most gentle, patient and accomodating yoga Guru I ever met. The highlight of the retreat was the Christmas Eve Gala and Christmas day celebration with an elephant which were both astonishing. A huge thank you to the whole team for their hard work, caring hospitality and making my stay memorable. Thank you in particular to Akshay from housekeeping, Gouri from the Samsara restaurant and last but not least to Gourav Dev, Chief of Operations who went above and beyond throughout my whole stay and helped me plant a memory tree. There's still Human Kindness in the world and you can find it at Niraamaya in Kovalam.

Very good, professional service and worry free stay.
1. caretaker was very very friendly. He had called in advance to ask when we would check in, shared the number we can use in case of any need and also told us he will be out on the road if we need help to locate the property. we eventually did have to call him because the house is located beside a slope and it's from a level down to the road from the direction we came( the other side of the house it's located above the road). but as soon as we called he was out on the road and helped us. 2. One point to note is that we have to park the car on the road. The house required climbing stairs up/down, so we cannot take the car past the gate. 3. the bathrooms are very clean ( bathrooms are the biggest fear for me). Their shower was very very good and unlike most places in tvm located near the beach, the tap water was not hard water. it was soft. they have hot and cold water. Towels were also provided, so also soap and travel friendly size of shampoo and moisturizer.
4. you can hear the waves loud and clear. you can also see the waves from your porch etc. you can also see the Vizinjam mosque dome and minarets from he property. also the lighthouse is very close by and can be seen from the property. 5. The beach is super near. Everything is at walking distance. Breakfast offered was bread, butter/jam. so we opted out. Drinking water was provided. There are cupboards inside for storage.Chairs and a table too. There is a door between the bottom two rooms that can be locked or unlocked. Hence it's great for families security wise. Overall, it's reliable and worry free.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti in hotel nel dicembre 24, e abbiamo pensato che ci fossero piccole cose che non ci fossero state curate o che ci fossero state un inconveniente, forse a causa della fortuna che ha reso il nostro soggiorno non così sorprendente. 1. La stanza che ci fu data era così vicina alla strada principale che fino a tardi si poteva sentire rumore e altri rumore, causando disturbi al sonno. La stanza non guardava la zona di accoglienza, poiché la parte centrale del pavimento era vuota. Questo ha causato più rumore per arrivare alla stanza da parte degli ospiti che si sono recati. 2. Problemi di custodia - la stanza non è stata pulita dalla custodia, nonostante le istruzioni firme da noi date mentre usciva. 3. TV - Anche se guardare la TV non era il principale obiettivo del soggiorno, affrontare una TV orribile con una distanza ancora più orribile è l'ultima cosa che ti serve quando cerchi di rilassarsi dopo un giorno di affaticamento. NNatalie LI’ll start by saying that we only booked this guesthouse as it was pretty much the only one available for our dates in Varkala that seemed well located and wasn’t a hostel in a dorm room (we are a married couple in our 30s and are passed the days of sleeping in a dorm bunk bed!). BIG MISTAKE! Following 7 weeks of travel in India and staying in almost 20 different guesthouses and homestays, this was by far the worst! One of the most expensive out of all the properties we stayed in and by far the worst in terms of facilities, value for money and management. Where to begin… 1. Frequent power cuts on our first day turning the lights and AC off in the room 2. We stayed in two rooms (one AC and one fan). Almost none of the plug sockets worked in either room with the exception of one 3. The shower was practically pointless and the water came out in a tiny trickle in both rooms. Not very practical for showering. We used the bucket for showering (which we have done many times in India, but not expected here considering it cost 2-3x more than other properties we stayed at in India). It’s also a wet room (common in India), but no mop/brush to push all the excess water into the drain (we had this in majority of our other guesthouses) so you’re walking into a soaking wet bathroom every time you enter 4. The rooms didn’t feel 100% clean - we were walking on sand before we even went to the beach and even felt sand in the bed! 5. Speaking of the bed, this was rock hard and super uncomfortable 6. We shared our AC room with 4/5 geckos each night. We are ok with nature and insects so this wasn’t a huge deal for us but just FYI incase you are not. There are vents in the room that allow insects in easily, despite them having some sort of sellotape over them to try and prevent this 7. There was construction work happening (either the property itself or next door). When in the AC room we were woken up quite early each morning with loud banging and drilling practically outside our window. The workmen also left their tools on our balcony 8. We were interested in doing the cooking class offered but were told that this was not available because the owner Suresh was too busy at his other property in Varkala (it’s called Gypsy Walker so will assume is also poor quality). Just as well, wouldn’t have wanted to have given another penny to this property! 9. The property requests that shoes are taken off before entry and left on the designated shoe rack. Respectful of the property’s policies and Indian culture we did just that. On the last day, one of our pairs of shoes was stolen from the rack. We know this happened that day as they were there late morning when we went out but not the evening when we returned to get them. When we informed Suresh of the issue, he was incredibly rude, shouting abuse at us down the phone and accused us of lying to get compensation out of him - incredibly insulting to say the least. We were told that no one has access to the property

UUtente ospiteGood day dear reader friends I am Sunil Kalia from Mumbai On 19June 2024 it was my birth day ***** with Rahul Gandhi Hence I decided to celebrate it with my wife and son Accordingly family decided to move out of Mumbai for birthday celebrations we planed to fly by Indigo airlines to THIRUVANANTHPURAM NOW searched for hotel for stay through Make my trip app and THE SOUTH PARK 5 STAR property was recommended we booked our 3 days stay 2 rooms check in 19 June and check out 22 June (MAP) with breakfast and dinner On our arrival at the hotel for check in on 19 June the front office gave us warm welcome without taking much of time we were allotted room nom 405 and 419 on forth floor both rooms facing swimming pool and Mahatma Gandhi road Both our rooms were elegantly designed to provide all needs of guest now in our room the very first person from hotel side who came for our welcome was LEKHI mam from housekeeping team she was very polite and assured to take very good care of us during our stay In the night we approached regency restaurant for our dinner again Mr VIKAS chef came to meet and greet us and assured all sort of service we had great spread out of food in buffet dinner every thing was value for money next morning before breakfast Mr Suresh heading team house keeping came to our room for greeting us i requested him to kindly introduce me to hotel General Manager. To my surprise within few minutes Shri BIJOY sir hotel General Manager personally came to our room. I shared my grievance with him and all my issues was solved with in no time apart above all meeting Shri BIJOY sir was great experience he is Gem of *** he gave warm send off during our check out based on my above personal experience readers looking for hotel for their stay at Thiruvananthapuram may consider hotel THE SOUTH PARK a great place to stay with family in the care of Bijoy sir

Quando ci consegnavano la stanza ci invitarono a bere qualcosa nel ristorante dell'hotel, ci chiedevamo se poteva fumare e ci dissero che non c'era problema. Un altro ospite inglese, seduto all'altra parte del ristorante, si alzò e si lamentò di una ***era del tabacco molto cattiva. Una donna bionda (non indiana) è venuta e ci ha chiesto di uscire, poi abbiamo scoperto che era la proprietaria, ma non è mai stata presentata, ci ha dato il benvenuto, non ha mai detto buongiorno e non ha mai avuto interesse per come fosse la permanenza. Le camere sono mini villa belle e pulite ma il letto è così duro che preferisci dormire sul pavimento. La cena del ristorante è buona, il servizio del ristorante quando non sono con il mobili sono simpatici. È vicino al cliff ma le vie di arrivare sono molto strette e piene di barba. Non hanno illuminazione per cui devi usare la lanterna del tuo cellulare. Lo spazio in generale delle villa è bello ma manca ***tenimento. Ci sono molte opzioni di alloggio sul cliff più economici che credo possano essere migliori opzione.

Food and services were excellent.specially restaurant manager Ajesh and his team manu and Aadarsh take care of us very well.Welcome to resort with garland and tikka was remarkable.It was my first experience.Visited temple and boating. I recommend if you arrange for direct Access to beach directly from the resort.

UUtente ospiteWe can reach the location only by boat after parking our vehicle on the other side of the river, in the allotted parking area for this property. Staff are very cordial and their service is very good. Room is big and clean. Surroundings are ill maintained. So premises do not look impressive. Bed sheets were changed on request since the bed spread was not clean. Tap water is salty. There are no proper cloth hangers in the bathroom.
