Om beach resort is 5 km from the beach on Om Beach road. It is a got run venue with mostly lovely staff except the manager. As we arrived he started yelling at us that he had tried to contact the tour co to find out where we were. This was a clear booking months in advance. We arrived at 1.45m....not late. He relentlessly yelled at us as if his problems were ours. We think he hates his job. The only conclusion we can come to. With this welcome? We proceeded to complete documentation, were given details of meal times, no WiFi and directed to go the dining area & eat lunch. No indication where our room was. Never informed about a pool existing. Once lunch finished we finally found someone who could help.us find our room. The room was a double room, spacious with inside and outside seating, comfy bed and a clean bathroom. There was air con, fans and filtered water in jugs provided. By far all the other staff apart from the manager were friendly, helpful and professional. The meal times were set and food was presented buffet style. The meals were quite adequate. The gardens of the property were delightful. A lovely setting. There was also a really pleasant *** who could take you down to Om Beach or Kudle Beach at 7.30 am and 4pm. A welcome service. Sadly none of this information had been told to us so it took time to know what was happening. The staff knew the routine but it would have been good to give a kind welcome and a broader low down of what the property has on offer at check in. This is an ideal spot to be away from chaos once you get past the front desk😊

Rimasto per una notte con la famiglia. Prenotato due camere e infelicemente, le camere sono molto piccole, con molto poca manutenzione. - buoni ospiti sorridenti - grande ristorante - mi sentivo a casa come cibo - posizione vicino alla spiaggia negativa - le tolette tenute nella stanza sono di colore marrone (IVA lavata e tenuta - è così vecchia che ha perso il colore e la famiglia era chiara di non usarla. - le letti di letto nella stanza erano svanite - l'area comune dove sono tenuti divano - dà l'aspetto di un campo di rifugiato con letti completamente rimossi e i regolatori di ventilazione sono stati consapevolmente rimossi per bloccare la gente dall'uso. - troppo costoso (4k) per un soggiorno notturno, dato gli impianti complessivi, questo è un buon posto per i laureati/trasportatori di bagaglio per soggiornare per la notte - non un posto di famiglia.

We just got done with our short but pleasant stay at The Godavari. The rooms are clean, cosy, comfortable and complete with good and beautiful fittings. The hotel is very new and it clearly shows. The inhouse restaurant also is excellent and we loved all the meals we had there, including the refreshing watermelon juice which was also their welcome drink.The hotel has a swimming pool as well as a spa Centre, which we didt utilise but we did see many people enjoying in the pool. The location of the hotel is quite good, being just around a km from Kudle Beach and the Mahabaleshwar temple. Would definitely recommend staying at The Godavari to everyone who travels to Gokarna!

Le camere sono buone , la pulizia dell'hotel è eccellente , il prezzo è molto conveniente e il colazione è buona .Il personale è gentile e disposto ad aiutare . Il turismo straniero può comunicare in inglese con il personale.Le camere hanno tutte le strutture essenziali.

Il soggiorno al cottage era buono. Le camere potevano essere più pulite. Dovremmo chiamare la ricezione e chiedere strutture di base come la tosta, la pasta dentale, ecc. Queste dovrebbero essere tenute nella stanza senza nemmeno chiedere. Tuttavia, il personale ha collaborato e ci ha aiutati a navigare in luoghi quando richiesto.
