Aug 2023. We stayed at Sindha for 2 nights. Definitely more expensive than a guest house, but we enjoyed a bit a 'luxury'. Staff is very kind and we had a swift check in. Our room was on the second floor facing a construction site. I think this is a new wing for the hotel. We did not have any noise issues. The room was spacious, clean and seemed fairly new. Hot water showers but it takes a long time to get warm, so be patient. The hotel premises was clean and it has a small garden where you can have breakfast/dinner outside. Breakfast was good. Buffet style: toast with jam/butter, white rice and nasi goreng, mie goreng, some veggies and a curry, fresh fruit and filtered water. Coffee/tea you can order and they also have an egg station where they cook eggs to order. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Also a good laundromat with 2 hour express laundry! Parking is possible at the front.

Na een rit van Labuan bajo naar Ruteng kwamen wij aan bij hotel Spring Hill. Naar later bleek was dit het meest luxueuze hotel op de reis van Labuanbajo naar Maumere. In een rustige omgeving met een mooi aangelegde tuin. Mooie ruime kamers en een luxe ingerichte badkamer. De verrassing werd nog groter toen wij 's avonds een bezoek aan brachten aan het restaurant. Vriendelijk en efficiënt werkend personeel. Maar waar het uiteindelijk om gaat is de kwaliteit van het eten. En dat was voortreffelijk.
