Faros 1 è un hotel a prezzi prezzi nella città porto greca di Piraeus. L'hotel è spesso utilizzato per il transito attraverso il Piraeus verso e da casa nostra su un'isola greca. Anche se il hotel di base è pulito, comodo e convenientemente situato vicino al porto (proxima della porta E10) Ciò che rende Faros 1 l'hotel che stiamo usando è sempre la cortesia e l'aiuto di tutti i dipendenti. Ha anche un ristorante che rimane aperto tardi, che è un grande aiuto quando arrivate stanchi alla fine di un lungo giorno di viaggio.

Our first room had bad damage and a mold smell. When we brought it up, they offered us to change rooms. We checked out three other rooms and they were all worse than the first. Because of time constraints, we decided to just deal with the first room and ask for a discount/partial refund. Management refused to do anything (even though the rate on THEIR website was lower that week than what we found on booking). So my friend asked if there was a room without carpet at least, since we assume most mold issues were coming from there. They said they had one room. This room was only marginally better but had plumbing sticking out of the wall in the shower, they couldn’t be bothered to remove the armoire to finish laying the laminate floor so there’s random carpet squares there. The painted over wallpaper in the whole room and there’s water damage and mold on it. Baseboard and trim areas were not nailed down properly and disgusting. Room wasn’t swept the majority of the time we were there and I don’t know if that’s something you have to ask for or not, but I would assume it would be done since they change towels. After we complained to booking, the manager came up to us in the morning, interrupted a conversation we were having with another guest and said “you complained to booking, now we have to solve this, how much do you want back?” We told her we had to be on time for a meeting but we could discuss the partial refund when we returned. She agreed. Later that day, we get an email from Booking saying that the hotel was only willing to refund us the remainder of our stay if we checked out that night. Mind you, we didn’t receive that email until around 5:15pm and we didn’t get back to the hotel until 8pm. We had also already explained to the manager that we weren’t going anywhere else which is why we only wanted a partial refund, to try and be fair. So not only did the manager choose not to discuss it with us as we’d agreed, but also tried to kick us out. Booking wanted to give us a full refund but couldn't without the corroboration of the hotel, per their vendor contract. So I contacted my bank for a chargeback and will be submitting photo evidence. A shame we had to go through all of that though. I would definitely say save yourself the trouble of dealing with this hotel.

La posizione è molto vicina al porto del Piraeus, costa solo circa 5.00 euro per un giro urbano. Se si sceglie di camminare, è definito entro la distanza a piedi del porto del Piraeus. La stanza è molto confortevole, con molti spazi, ha tutto quello che avete bisogno per un soggiorno rapido, perché probabilmente è per questo che si scelga questo posto. Se hai bisogno di un sacco di servizi dall'hotel, probabilmente non è per te, è un altro hotel di autoservizio in un quartiere molto vicino. Ha un sacco di ristoranti intorno, ottenere qualcosa da mangiare prima che la tua ferry non sarebbe un problema. Abbiamo perso il nostro traghetto originale programmato (7:00AM), quindi mia moglie e io siamo stati al porto senza dove andare prima di poter controllare intorno 12:00PM. Dopo aver parlato con il proprietario dell'hotel, ha fatto un accordo per noi di utilizzare un'altra stanza fino al check-in regolare in tempo per un prezzo molto ragionevole. È molto bello per il proprietario dell'hotel. Solo per questo l'hotel riceve una stella extra.

Il posto è bello e sottile. Bella strada tranquilla con pochi bar. È vicino alle ferries, quindi se si pensa di prendere uno e vuole riposare prima qui.

L'hotel è strategicamente situato. Conveniente per gli ospiti Grandi bacche/ buon caffè è facile da raggiungere a piedi. Bus X96 va all'aeroporto, busstop appena vicino all'hotel! È la stessa strada. L'hotel locale greco Tavern 3 min walk frm è al servizio di autentico greco fd : Ρεφενέ Il tetto dell'lvl 8 ha una bella vista.Passare tempo a camminare al porto e andare al punto di vista solare. Visita il museo archeologico Amo il mio soggiorno qui, molto tranquillo e sono in grado di riposare bene e esplorare i pirati prima di prendere un volo. Molto consiglia per il buon valore!
