We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Location is near the monasteries that we plan to visit. Our room has a balcony and a nice view. There's also a lift in the building, so we don't gave to climb the stairs with heavy luggage. It has a wide variety of breakfast spread. We arrived earlier than check in time, around 2pm, there's no one at the reception. We went back after lunch and were able to check in. Maybe we should have informed them that we are arriving earlier than 3pm.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. For us this was a disappointment. On the plus side this hotel is very close to the Meteora monasteries and also a 5 minute walk from the centre of Kastraki. On the pictures this hotel looks great but in real it’s very basic. We booked a Meteora view room with it’s own balcony overlooking the rocks but the only thing we were able to see were very high trees (see pictures). The room itself was small en very basic also. The bathroom was extremely small (see picture). The remote control of the air-conditioning was broken so we changed it with the one from the next door room which worked better. The breakfast offered in the hallway was very poor. Terrible coffee, some slices of bread with some cheese and sausage. The staff was OK but not very friendly or helpful. There was no information available about the Meteora monasteries. No maps, no information, nothing. This was very disappointing for an hotel which main business is hosting visitors from all over the world who are here for visiting these monasteries. This hotel was not worth the money we paid for the room (about 95 Euro per night).

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel tre volte e pianificato di tornare. Atmosfera doccia casa. Ottimo servizio. Ottimo cibo. Miglior Musaka ho provato! Un conveniente parcheggio vicino. Grande vista dal balcone.

This B&B is situated right amongst the Meteora Rocks, providing a spot of color to the stark, awesome landscape with its red and yellow building, its green lawn and its owner’s lovely flowers. We enjoyed our spacious apartments with comfortable beds, ensuite bathrooms and kitchenettes. Our suite had a small balcony but you don’t need one as the garden, with seats and tables have the best view. The host family is friendly and hospitable, we really enjoyed their good services and delicious breakfast. We got this accommodation through VisitMeteora but it can be booked independently or through ***********. Also recommend a walk up from Kalambaka town as the views are astounding, although the walk is steep.

Per tutti gli israeliani: ho prenotato una notte all'hotel per il 25 ottobre, senza la possibilità di cancellazione, e il denaro è stato pagato .... per ragioni comprensibili alla luce di ciò che sta accadendo in Israele in questi giorni, Ho contattato l'hotel e ho chiesto, alla luce della situazione, di annullare la prenotazione e di darmi i soldi ...I immediatamente ricevuto una risposta incoraggiante e sostenibile dall'hotel A chiara dichiarazione che l'hotel annullerà la prenotazione e mi ricompenserà .....per me L'hotel è raccomandato senza essere stato lì per la semplice ragione che tutti abbiamo imparato che prima di tutto dobbiamo essere umani ... Grazie alla gestione dell'hotel e non c'è dubbio che in un prossimo futuro rimarrò con voi. לכל הישראלים: הזמנתי לילה במלון לתאריך 25 לאוקטובר , ללא אפשרות ביטול, והכסף שולם....מטעמים מובנים לאור מה שקורה בישראל בימים אלו פניתי למלון ובקשתי לאור המצב, לבטל את ההזמנה ולזכות אותי בכסף...קיבלתי מיידית תשובה מהמלון שמעודדת ותומכת ווצעדה אמירה ברורה על כך שהמלון יבטל את ההזמנה ויזכה אותי.....מבחינתי המלון מומלץ ללא שהייתי בו מהטעם הפשוט שלמדנו כולנו שקודם כל צריכים להיות בני אדם...תודה להנהלת המלון

L'Hotel Kastraki ha il vecchio fascino. Ci siamo trasferiti a piacere e confortevole. Il personale ci ha dato la mappa di Meteora e ha descritto ogni monastero e punto di vista, come arrivare lì, ecc. Tutti all'Hotel Kastraki erano amici e sempre sorridenti. Abbiamo prenotato una camera tripla. Ha un balcone. Il letto era comodo. Gli asciugamani e le mutandine erano freschi e puliti tutto il tempo. Il bagno è un po' vecchio e ha bisogno di un aggiornamento però. Non ho mai visto un hotel dove il pavimento è attentamente lavato ogni volta. La signora di pulizia ha fatto un lavoro straordinario. Mio marito camminava con calzini bianchi nella stanza dell’hotel, bagno e balcone e le calzini non avevano alcuna traccia di sporcizia, ancora molto bianche. Il colazione era buona. Tutto quello che dovevamo iniziare il giorno. Siamo soddisfatti. Il parcheggio è gratuito davanti all'hotel.
