On arrival at 10pm we were seen straight away and given a list of all the information we required for our stay. Lovely staff on reception. Our room was clean with a mini fridge and a big wardrobe. The rooms are slightly dated but we only used ours for sleeping so it didn’t make a difference. Great pool view balcony, which I requested before arrival. The bar was very relaxing and the bar staff were amazing and super friendly. They looked after everyone with the same approach and made you feel welcome immediately. We didn’t spend much time round the pool but we got a bed in the afternoon when ever we wanted one. The hotel is about 20/25 min walk away from the old town, of you use the top road instead of the main road. It’s so able but then you can also speak to reception, who had us a taxi within 5 mins every time. Cost is about 12/15 euros each way. Well worth it. We had a hire car so used the hotel as a base. There is not much around the hotel and you need to travel to a beach, it seems most people used the buses to get about. The only shop near the hotel is a little kiosk on the main road but they had plenty to choose from. The main event in this hotel for us was the restaurant! We used this twice during our stay and we highly recommend giving it a try! Overall we would use the hotel again and we enjoyed the releaxed atmosphere.

A parte la posizione strategica per chi vuole soggiornare nella città di Corfù ed essere vicino al porto, oltre che al centro cittadino, per il resto da bocciare. Camere vecchie, pulizia scarsa (tranne il primo giorno abbiamo sempre trovato il lavandino e la mensola del bagno sporchi, oltre a mancare sistematicamente il tappetino per la doccia, per non parlare di un tappo di plastica di una bottigliavuota, rimasto sul pavimento una settimana). Nessuna disponibilità da parte della direzione dell'hotel ad offrire una camera di cortesia (anche a pagamento), considerato il fatto che il traghetto per l'Italia parte alle ore 1:30 del mattino e la camera devi lasciarla alle ore 11:00 del giorno precedente.

Non posso dire di essere stato male, anzi, però va detto che l'hotel è molto molto modesto, stanze piccolissime, bagno minuscolo, ma pulito e tutto sommato comodo, considerando che in camera stavamo pochissimo. Il personale è incredibilmente attento e cortese, di sicuro è il punto di forza dell'hotel, colazione standard, senza infamia e senza lode, ma voglio precisare che abbiamo mangiato e siamo sempre usciti sazi. L'aeroporto si trova di fronte a pochissime centinaia di metri, si sentivano gli aerei ma sto periodo, non ce n'erano molti, in estate immagino possa essere un problema. Il problema è, semmai, la scarsissima insonorizzazione tra le stanze, si sente tutto ciò che succede nelle stanze attigue. L'albergo è privo di parcheggio. Rispetto alla città vecchia è posizionato a circa trenta minuti a piedi, passeggiando tranquillamente, noi l'abbiamo fatto più volte a piedi. Il prezzo un po' troppo alto per quanto offerto.
